Can I request rotmnt with anger issues teen!reader (gn, 15-16) who has difficulty with expressing that they see the turtles as their sibling figure? They don't wanna admit on how they see the turtles cuz if they said that the reader would be embarrassed due to how they were treated by their bio siblings about it so they just don't say anything, only that they are just friends.

A/N: Of course! Here's a set of headcanons for the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (ROTTMNT) with an angry, reserved teen reader who secretly sees the turtles as sibling figures but has difficulty expressing it. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!

General Dynamics

The Turtles’ Initial Perception: At first, the turtles assume you’re just a moody, tough teenager who prefers to keep things casual. They respect your boundaries but are curious about the walls you’ve built around yourself

Your Struggles: You often lash out when things get too emotional or personal, fearing vulnerability might lead to mockery or rejection, like what you experienced with your biological siblings.

Silent Acts of Care: Despite your reluctance to express your feelings, you show you care in subtle ways—fixing things they break, grabbing their favorite snacks, or patching up their gear without being asked.

Individual Turtle Dynamics

Leonardo:

Leo teases you constantly, but he’s careful not to push too far when he senses you’re genuinely upset.

He makes lighthearted jokes about you being “the angsty middle sibling” to see if you’ll slip up and admit you see them as family.

When you’re overwhelmed, Leo offers distractions rather than deep talks—movies, video games, or spontaneous rooftop hangouts.

Raphael

Raph is incredibly protective of you, even if he doesn’t fully understand your emotional struggles. He sees you as part of the team, even if you insist you’re just “friends.”

He’s the first to notice your hidden acts of kindness, like repairing his punching bag or leaving protein bars in his gym bag.

Michelangelo

Rise! Raph, Leo, Mikey, Donnie, April x Fem! Sister

PURELY PLATONIC AND FAMILIAL. Fem! Reader, fluff, mentions of blood (obvi), turtles being stupid 🤞, April being the best ever as usual 🤞

“Where’s the pain killers, Raph?” You dragged your feet into the living, cradling your aching lower stomach.

“Y/N, you’re awake! Woah-“ Leo said from behind you, “is that blood?”

“Blood?” You and Raph said in unison. You turned to face Leo and looked down at yourself to see what he was talking about.

“You are bleeding!” Raph exclaimed, pointing towards the bottom part of your pajama shorts, “what happened?!”

“I- I don’t know!” You looked confused, looking back and forth between Leo and Raph.

“What’s all the commotion?” Mikey walked in from the kitchen, wearing an apron. Immediately he noticed the blood and rushed over to you, looking all over your body. “Oh mi gosh! Donnie! Donnie!”

“Y/N, what happened?” Raph asked again, a concerned look in his eyes.

“I don’t know! I just don’t know…Oh my god, my stomach hurts…” You groaned at the piercing pain in your abdomen. Leo was typing intently on his phone, looking up your symptoms on Web MD.

“What is it?” Donnie walked in, pushing his goggles up.

“She’s bleeding ooouuuuttt!!!” Mikey sobbed, pulling you into a bone-crushing hug.

“No, I’m not!” You turned to Donnie for reassurance, “Am I?”

“Guys, cut it out!” Leo shouted, panic evident in his tone.

“You’re scaring her!” Raph added.

Donnie’s eyes widened as realization hit him. Of course he knew what menstruation was. Just not, uh, how it works exactly. For obvious reasons, he never really needed to look into it.

Leo and Raph don’t know shit. Mikey…well, he knows what it is. He’s just too panicked to even consider what’s really happening to you.

“Heeeyyyy!” April walked into the lair, and immediately stopped dead in her tracks at the scene before her.

You were looking at her like you’d just seen a ghost, tears in your eyes. Mikey, Raph, and Leo were clinging onto you. Donnie was scrolling through articles on his phone and seemed evidently uncomfortable.

“What did I just walk into?” April lifted her eyebrows in confusion and a little concerned.

“April! Y/N is dying!” Mikey cried into your shoulder.

“I never told you this, but I was the one who broke your Jupiter Jim figure and blamed it on Donnie. I am so sorry!” Leo confessed with a sigh of relief having gotten that off his chest.

Donnie looked up from his phone and shot his twin a glare, “What?!”

April blinked a few times, she stepped towards you taking in the situation. She noticed the way you were gripping the area of uterus and the blood on your shorts that was now leaking onto the front.

April shook her head, laughing, “Guys, relax! She’s not dying.”

“She’s..she’s not?” Raph looked up at her, sniffling.

“Of course not! She’s just shedding the lining of her intestines!”

“WHAT?”

“Oh my god, I’m gonna be sick…” Leo put one hand over his mouth, the other gripping his stomach.

Your jaw and your stomach dropped, obviously having no idea what she meant by that.

“YYYY/NNNNN!!” Mikey and Leo sobbed, hugging you tighter if that was even possible. Donnie and Raph looked mortified.

“Stop smothering her!” April pried the turtles off of you, gently taking your hand.

“You’re fine, Y/N. Don’t listen to them.” She narrowed her eyes at your brothers before turning back to you with a warm smile, “Let’s get you cleaned up, ok? I’ll explain everything, girl to girl.” She winked at you.

You simply nodded, squeezing her hand back.

“not sure if you’re still into rottmnt, but I just had an idea for sister!reader (same age as mikey)

When Casey was talking about the future versions of the turtles, there’s only so much he can say because he never even got to meet you. He was particularly excited to meet you because of this.

It doesn’t occur to them until after the events of the movie that what little he was able to say about you, he spoke in the past tense, implying that you were first to die out of all of them.”

the kraang were brutal. their gummy residue covered new york, leaving no space left behind. it was slick and dripping like melted bubblegum— and it smelled absolutely disgusting. the substance smelled like burning flesh and hydrogen peroxide. an odd mix but disgusting, nonetheless.

“hey casey?” you whispered, making sure not to interrupt the movie, which had just started. you needed to ask him this. to ask him everything, actually. he gave a hum and faced you. he looked so much like his mom, it made you emotional. it was amazing how, even during an apocalypse, cass had a kid. she’s a crazy girl but you adored her like a sister. “you never really… talked about me. did— did something happen to me? before you were born?” you swallowed the lump that settled in your throat. you had an inkling as to what might’ve happened.

and his frown confirmed it.

“i don’t know if i should tell you,” casey looked at his lap, eyes blurring from the tears that began to form.

the others had been vaguely listening in on the conversation… but now? they focused all their attention on the two of you. leo turned off the film as they all faced casey. “why wouldn’t you be able to tell her?” mikey asked, innocently curious. “i—“ casey gulped, he looked around for his mom, who had been staring at him with a worried look. he then turned to april, who had a hand in raising him, and saw the exact same expression. then, it went back to you. your eyes landed on your hands and you sort of curled into yourself. “i… i never met you. you passed before i was born.”

everyone gave a quiet gasp, they already saw this coming but— to have it be confirmed? it horrified them. made them sick.

“i was actually really excited to meet you, they all spoke so highly of you,” casey gestured towards your brothers and the two women— who you’d grown rather close to. you saw them both as sisters— hell, you even acted as such. of course cass & april’s relationship was different but— they treated you like you were the center of their worlds. “they said you were one of the greatest there’s ever been.”

“how long after the war started?” raph asked, reaching to his collection and handing you a plush— one of his absolute favorites.

“i think just a few days… she—“ casey looked at you with a small frown. “you… you sacrificed yourself for everyone.” he said, his voice small, almost whispering. leo had spaced out at this point— the information was a lot to take in. he still blames himself for everything— the war, losing the key, etc. and to know you died? you died to save them? he had to swallow the bile that crept up his throat. he was nauseous. so disgusted with himself.

at this point, cass and april sat on each side. april hugged you as cass sat awkwardly. she wasn’t entirely sure what to do. she was still processing everything— including the fact that she has a child. should she hug her kid? should she hug you? should she hug anybody???

“i’m sorry,” leo spoke, making everyone look at him. “i’m so sorry,” he had tears in his eyes. they rested along his waterline— ready to spill. “if i just— if i didn’t lose the key…” he swallowed. “leo, don’t be so hard on yourself.” you moved off the couch and sat in front of him. “we all make mistakes. what matters is that we fix them. understand?” he nods and sniffles again. “i’m still here, aren’t i? i’m still alive. that’s what matters.” you hugged him— and he sobs. loud. the others were quick to make their way to the hug as well.

but here’s the thing, the reader is a little pink gecko with yellow spots, they’re around 10 or 9 years old and can run just as fast as sonic the hedgehog and basically have the energy of a golden retriever, they’re like a tiny dragon and it’s adorable yet SO. FREAKING. EXHAUSTING!!

however you simply must have your grand rebellion moments and give him arm gummy bites the entire time but he's the just personification of "😇😌"

ain't no doubting he loves you tho. adores you, really; your bright bubbliness is what makes him smile most days, and even tho your energy is a bit much for him to keep up with, and he'd really like it if you stopped fighting him for afternoon naps sometimes, i don't think he'd change it for the world.

you were initially excited over the cute little metal band anklets gifted to you by your older brother, buuut once it activated .... :((

.... what you don't know, (and me either tbh, we never got that 'explanation' from the inventor himself), is that donnie made it with your specs in mind.

geckos are able to climb vertical surfaces (with some exceptions of course, but for the most part !!) — when activated, those little "putty bands" would've aided in that.

because donnie knows how much you love to run around, especially climbing up the walls, but you can't stick up there forever.

was it made to simultaneously slow your ass down? yes. 🤣😭

(he's only one man what do you want from the poor guy ☠✋ your drive by's were enough to send him into cardiac arrest every time)

...... was it made to adhere to nearly any and every surface texture known to man & mutant kind? for an unprecedented amount of time? with the intentions of you having so much fun with it? also yes.

was it made with intricate care and with, overall, your best interests at heart?

yes.

but after the whole ordeal, he really did mean it when he says you're great just the way you are. :))

in your calmer moments, he likes to have you wrap around his shoulders like a fashion designer scarf and taps at your cute little tail, half as a stim, half as a gesture of affection, while he's in the lab focusing on his latest project

or even just. vibing. y'all are primetime vibey.

he finds your weight comforting. like a tiny weighted pillow.

and he'll never admit that he feels his heart nearly burst with love and pure fondness when you yourself happily curl up into your brother and fall asleep there, cooing softly into his ear.

he built a little comfort bed/pillow extension for you in his battle shell for such occasions <3

but he prefers the sibling cuddles without his shell on.

he trusts you, after all.

is exceptionally good at matching all of your moods: your bubbly hyperactivity and bringing you to a calmer, serene state !!

how does he do it. 🧍

he catches you in his arms and strokes/scratches your back to calm you down, and it works like a charm every time !

he never has to use dr. delicate touch on you. despite being the closest in age, surprisingly, you listen to mikey very well !

call it survivor's intuition 🫠 orrrr just the fact that you and mikey are very close and in-tune with one another,

whenever he calls it quits for you - no matter how much you might whine and pout - you genuinely do tone it down.

i know i said this for leo too but i feel like mikey just has that magic touch. yenno?

no pun intended. ha.

but en ee wayz !! yusssss, mikey and [name] are the cutest little goobers.

y'all deffo get roped together being the "babies" of the family,

and despite mikey wanting to outfit that mold — mostly by means of appeasing to raph's overprotective tendencies — he babies you a bit too !!

I was wondering if you could possibly do an au for a girl being the human sister of the turtles, and since Splinter wants her to learn and be around her own kind a little more he has her go to high school, (against all four brothers wishes) so the go out to spy in her to make sure everything is alright and at the end of the day she meets a guy who ask her out and they all fume over it? It’s fine if you don’t want to! No pressure. ❤️

“It’s time,” Splinter announced.

Everyone froze.

It had been a chill day in the lair. Everyone was hanging out in the living room. Splinter had been watching his commercials, Leo reading his comics, Raph watching football on his phone, so everyone was doing their own thing.

So it was very abrupt and frightening for Splinter to speak up and randomly say that.

“What?” Raph finally spoke up for all of you. Mikey slid into your side nervously. “What are ya talkin’ about, pops?”

“What we’ve been discussing for the past year.”

“You mean arguing about?” Donnie asked dryly.

“Tomato, tomato, Purple.” Splinter looked at you and you slid down against the couch nervously. “It’s time for you to go to High School.”

“No!” Leo wailed, throwing his arms around you. “I won’t let you take her!” He started to hiss at Splinter who looked at him with an unamused look.

“If she gets to go to school, then I should be able to, too!” Donnie complained, clearly more upset about a different aspect to this than what his brothers were upset about.

“You can’t!” Raph nervously waved his hands around. “Think of all the thugs in there! Is a public school? A private school? Where? What’s the crime rate in the area?! We won’t be there to protect her!”

“It’s safer to be in a school than a sewer,” Splinter rolled his eyes. “Think of all the diseases down here.”

“Hey! I keep it clean!” Donnie argued.

“No, you don’t. Your robots do.”

“Shut up, Leo—”

“Anyways. Your opinions don’t matter. Only mine does,” Splinter announced, ignoring how the shouting of his sons only grew louder at that. “In two weeks is the first day of school.”

You swallowed nervously.

Donnie had kept you up to what your age should know. Math, science, etc. So you would be fine with that. But you wouldn’t know anyone. Not a single person there, except for April. And everyone already knew everyone.

You were nervous. This made your brothers nervous.

For two weeks, the nervous energy built up.

When you went to school you were shaking.

You went through most of your classes barely speaking. You felt as if shadows were following you and you kept thinking people were whispering your name. But nobody knew it, so that was impossible, right?

Leaving your second to last class, in a isolated part of the school, you were quickly stopped by someone grabbing your arm.

“Hey…” You jumped and the ceiling creaked above you ominously. “Are you new?”

You turned to see a guy, maybe one from your class you just came from. You two were alone in the hall and you grew nervous.

“Uh, yeah!” Cute boy. Cute boy. Cute boy. You panicked. Oh god. “Uh. Yeah.” You were an idiot.

“Kinda rough how he’s already giving us a test, right? Did you study?”

“No,” you lied. Why did you lie?

“Me neither!” He laughed. What a win. “Wanna go study with me while eating some icecream?”

Your eyes widened. “Yes—”

Raph’s claws punctured the ceiling tile. What had been barely holding his weight snapped, sending all four turtles crashing through the ceiling, crushing the guy underneath the rubble.

You stared at your brothers and they stared back.

“Oh my god,” Mikey breathed out. “We killed him.”

“No, we didn’t. We likely concussed him and knocked him out.” Donnie rolled his eyes. “He deserves it anyways.”

“How about instead of chatting and standing there, get off of him!” you screamed at them. They scrambled off of him and Raph picked the poor guy up. He limply flopped like a wet noodle. “Guys?!”

“I’ll leave him outside there nurse’s office…” Leo reluctantly sighed, opening a portal. Raph carelessly threw the boys through the portal.

“Raph?!”

“What?” he asked innocently.

“Get out of my school!”

They ‘left’ and continued to watch you from the ceiling.

At least no school day could be worse than this one. It could only be uphill from there.

may I request hcs about the rottmnt boys finding a anxious child reader that is a leatherback sea turtle mutant? Leatherback sea turtles are the biggest sea turtles yet have a softshell with spines and no scutes(basically a more aquatic larger calmer softshell turtle) you don't have to do it if you can't or don't want to!

i’d like to think they found you before big mama came into play and they found out about the other yokai

so they were all equally shocked and confused

they found you in an alleyway in the city, somehow you’d gotten to new york from the hidden city

you’d been alone most of your life, and you were constantly anxious and scared

it didn’t help that you were now in a very unfamiliar city, with these very weird looking creatures (humans)

however, you did feel a bit safer around the boys as not only were they yokai, they were also turtle yokai (a type you hadn’t seen much of)

also, because you’re a leatherback (A VERY VERY LARGE TURTLE--), none of them realized you were a child until you told them

you grow up to be bigger than raph lmao-

they collectively decide to take you in

donnie’s a little hesitant at first and kinda seems like he doesn’t like you but he gets used to you and starts to care for you

out of all of them mikey is the most excited and understanding

if you have any sensory issues paired with he anxiety he’ll ask donnie to make you some headphones or whatever you need

donnie will also take a quicker liking to you if you suffer from the sensory issues because he Understands

it takes you awhile to get used to your new home

especially seeing as how the boys hid you from splinter for like a week

ok it was more like three days bc these boys can’t lie for shit

splinter wasn’t very accommodating at first, he didn’t really want to have to take care of another turtle (he barely felt like he was taking care of the boys good enough),, but he eventually caved

sometimes leo can be a bit too loud (which can be triggering for some people depending on the anxiety) so you may tend to avoid him at first

he’s sad bc he doesn’t know why you’re avoiding him

but when he realizes it’s bc he’s being too loud he immediately feels super guilty and tries to stop

obviously he can’t completely stop bc it’s part of his personality, but if you hold your finger to your lips i’m a ‘shh’ gesture he realizes he’s being too loud and he quiets down

mikey can sometimes be too loud too but he usually realizes when he is and can stop a bit easier

anyways they all really love you and you for sure found your forever home <3

"No it isn't! You were able to be independent by showing you could get us that trashy game!" You stomped in frustration. "I'm not even fighting and you guys are acting like my life's on the line!!" Your face was a fully on ugly frown, with a tear or two beading in your eye.

"Pinkie Pie, my baby sister, my sweetest little bubble gum," You rolled your eyes at Raph's nicknames. "you gotta understand the difference between putting your life at stake, and putting your feelin's at stake." Raph said, reaching for your shoulder.

Raph was beginning to build a headache. It's like, his siblings want to grow up when he doesn't want them to :((

He missed the times where you were itty bitty, and so cute, and wanted to hangout with your big brothers all the time!

But now, most days, you end up sneaking out during missions.

At least he knows you aren't in physical danger. That eased half of his mind.

But Mind Raph was telling him that maybe Pink dating wasn't such a good idea...

could we have a bittersweet oneshot where the reader is a sea turtle (same age as Mikey) and is sort of like the little mermaid in reverse, dreaming of the ocean but keeping it to themself because they don’t want to hurt their family’s feelings? But at the same time the boys have kind of caught on and feel bad because they can’t give the reader what they want most? (not yet at least maybe Leo starts practicing his portal sword bc of this)

Pairing[s]: Donnie + Seaturtle!Sibling!Reader TW: Mentions disability and wheelchair use [although that isn't really a bad thing, idk if readers are comfortable], making Mikey cry :'] A/N: Hey!! Ok so, I will be honest I did try to write this but I gave up :') BUT- I did draw a little something something [more under cut!] and have decided to add a few headcanons to make up for it!! Sorry if it isn't what you wanted 😅 And I'm going to put this under Donnie's section as I don't really know where else to put it-

Seaturtle!Sibling!Reader

💜 - You were different.

💜 - That's the first thing that came to your head whenever you saw your brothers.

💜 - Sure, you're all mutants, you're all turtles, you're all around the same age, you were all raised the same way, but it's not that-

💜 - Your brothers can walk around, they can run, jump, fight.

💜 - The most you could do was slap someone with your fins as you sat there, useless in your wheelchair.

💜 - It made you feel odd as a child, having to crawl around when they were all learning to walk. To this day, you could still remember the look of joy in your father's eyes as your brothers walked towards him, the feeling of hurt as you realized at a young age that you'd never be the reason behind the light in his eyes.

💜 - It went on like that for a few years, even to the extent of hating your brothers.

💜 - You'd ignore Leo whenever he'd come up to you with a new action figure of comic of some kind, begging you to play superheroes with him.

💜 - You'd take any gift either Mikey or Donnie made you and shove it into the shoebox you kept under your bed, never once opening them.

💜 - You'd just sit there, pouting as Raph placed a teddy bear next to you, hoping to cheer you up.

💜 - Looking back, it was a bit overdramatic, yes, but back then it felt unfair, like the world was against you; and although to a lighter extent, it still does to this day.

💜 - They'd gone off, beginning they're training around the ripe age of five, while you sat there, unable to even stand, being forced to cheer them on when they did something right.

💜 - It was as though anything you did was outdone by something they did, and you were so close to just giving up...

💜 - But then came the time Splinter had decided to teach you all to swim, and the look in his eyes and you glided through the water made up for it all.

💜 - You could have sworn that it was from that moment on that you'd promised yourself that one day you'd go back to the ocean, but until then, you'd have to sit in your wheel chair, right next to Splinter's recliner as an endless amount of commercials played on loop for hours on end.

💜 - But in order for that to happen, you'd have to tell your family, and whether you liked it or not, you loved and cared for them and the fear of breaking their heart was too much. And so you did the next best thing.

💜 - Whenever you all would go to the sewers, or swimming in a pool or in the river, you'd make sure to have the time of your life, and collect a souvenir or two [ranging from stones, to postcards, to pictures you had Donnie take for you]

💜 - You'd have a whole corner of your room dedicated to just the ocean and other sea creatures, and I'd be lying if I said that didn't raise a slight suspicion on your family, especially Leo.

💜 - It was around dinner time, you were all in the projector room, munching away at yet another pizza, as you watch Jupiter Jim.

💜 - Taking another bite at the slice sandwiched in between both of your fins in an awkward attempt at holding it, you get the feeling that you're being watched. Turning around, lo and behold, it's Leo, staring at you seemingly deep in thought.

💜 - You couldn't remember what surprised you more that night. The fact that Leo wasn't watching Jupiter Jim, or that fact that he had the ability to think so deeply. [/j]

💜 - At this point, the others had noticed too, confusing them as much as you. Pressing pause, Leo seems to snap out of his thoughts, before taking a bite of his own.

💜 - "Say, Y/n... I've noticed that you've been staring a whole lot at those postcards you have taped up in your room...got anything to share with the class?"

💜 - Of course he had to bring it up in front of the others.

💜 - Brushing it off, you just cover it up as admiring the scenery, but clearly that wasn't the answer he wanted.

💜 - So for days, he kept egging you on, poking at you, pushing you to your breaking point till you just snapped.

💜 - And so you told him everything, from being excluded in day to day activities to practically disabled.

💜 - The silence, the shock, it was all just as you'd feared.

💜- The worst part? The rest of your family was right there, by the entrance of the kitchen. Oh, the look on poor Mikey's face, it made you want to tear up.

💜 - You wanted nothing more than to roll of into your room and scream. Damn it! This wasn't how you wanted to tell them-

💜 - As you sat there, chastising yourself, you froze up as you felt someone hug you. Looking down you see a grey patch of fur up in your face...Splinter?

💜 - "I'm sorry I have made you feel this way, my child...I hadn't realized your fins had made you feel this way...if only you'd told me earlier..."

💜 - Now you just felt guilty. Looking around, you realized how down everyone looked, apologetic even, as they seemed to understand where you were coming from.

💜 - Mikey rushed forward joining in on the hug, as he teared up, somehow still wearing a smile. "I'm sorry we made you feel like this, Y/N! I swear I'll visit you everyday when you leave, and I'll bring you gifts and you can introduce me to all of your little fishy friends and-"

💜 - "Wait-" You look down at Splinter, before scanning over the others, "You're not mad that I want to leave?"

💜 - "Sweet sweet Y/N," Donnie shook his head, smiling a bit himself, "Who are we to deny you your happiness?"

💜 - You couldn't help but sit there in shock, still processing what had just happened as the other walked closer, either joining in on the hug themselves or getting dragged into it by force.

💜 - And they kept their promise.

💜 - Every other day, they'd meet you at the dock, telling you about all the adventures they went on with April, and give you little souvenirs you could keep under water.

💜 - If it's hot out, they might join in, take a swim [although Mikey will stick to his floatie, thank you very much.]

💜 - And as promised, he will get to meet your little fishy friends, maybe even have them swim around his floatie for a while as you introduce him.

💜 - It might take some time for them to get used to you not being in the lair anymore.

💜 - No one dares to touch anything in your room, other than for the occasional dusting off. Your wheelchair is kept safe in your room, ready to be used if you ever decide to visit or come back.

💜 - But with how happy you seemed in the water, they'd say it's worth the wait to see you tomorrow.
