Rowin let out a low grumble. Fucking silver. He had only gold with him, not that he ever complained about that. It was easier to carry around than the different bits. By the time he left this place, he'd have more coins broken into silver than he would have liked. He glanced sideways at the young man before glancing back toward the bartender, slowly lowering his hood with one hand as the other dug at his side to retrieve his coin pouch. ‘As long as breathing and shitting won’t cost a silver,’ he placed a gold coin onto the wood and slid it forward. ‘I’ll b staying here until I can find a more permeant place to stay.’

He sat back and re-attached his coin purse by his hip, covering it with his cloak before resting both his elbows on the counter. ‘I want to use that until it runs out.’ He said with a low growl. ‘And when it does, I will give you another gold. And continue that until I leave.’ He cleared his throat giving the bartender a small nod. He glanced back at the young man leaning beside him, his shoulders slouching slightly, as his sword clanged against the wood.

‘Do I have to pay anyone to get some information? Or can I just get that for free?’ Though it sounded as a joking question, his tone stayed flat and unimpressed. ‘Where do I go to secure a home to live in?’

Fuck them. Rowin was being thrown out of the town he had spent most of his years in because some new ruler didn’t like the idea of him changing into a wolf from time to time. The older ruler didn’t care as long as Rowin had control over what he was doing and didn’t harm anyone. This new one wanted all supernatural creatures out of his sight. And Rowin was happy to, the prick.

So now Rowin had to find somewhere else to live. He had to start all over, build new relations, and gain others' trust. He had to start from the very bottom. And he couldn't just waltz into Tartessos and begin making a life there for himself. He needed to meet with the one in charge and ask if they were alright with letting a new citizen in. One that would cause no harm, and especially keep to themselves. He would need to find a different job before he was established and continue his monster hunting. He couldn't speak of his career until the Prince trusted him enough.

He arrived late to Taressos, too late to try to try to speak to the Prince. He'd try in the morning. So instead he found his way to the tavern, his large pack slung over his shoulder as he found his way to the bar. He placed his things down between his feet as he rested his elbows on the counter. 'I know it's late...but you wouldn't happen to have any empty rooms for the night?'

Honestly Rowin’s first reaction to hearing the nickname “Angel” was shock, but in a way it was so absurd it was kinda funny to them (got a good giggle out of em). Though they didn’t dislike it.
