Glixel is a french game developed using #rpgmaker, probably the best of 2024 uploaded on indiexpo website. It is a demo only in french, but soon it will be also in english!

Hello everyone!

Yes, I'm alive - sorry for the lack of updates, but the last two weeks were a wild ride (let's say our landlady made us a really unpleasant surprise). Now that everything it's quiet again, I'm happy to say that Every thought flies it's officially finished, translation included.

I need a couple more days to make the Itch.io page and some finishing touches, but... we're almost here! My first complete game, I could cry-

Little reminder that Every thought flies it's a prequel to The ash black cat and the happy ogre, BUT it works as a standalone game. You'll meet the same characters in both games (even if Abele and Gioele get the spotlight in ETF, and The ash black cat is more focused on Felix and Noelia).

Once I published ETF, I plan to take a little break (I mean, my anxiety fueled brain needs a break). After that, I'll be back to revamping The ash black cat. Custom menu, revamped maps, a couple of new characters, more puzzles (and more horror). I'm pretty excited.

Here is kinda the skeleton of the POE: The Undercity. I plan on adding in the interior buildings since I feel like there are some important stuff inside. Aiming to have this POE entirely finish by January (if things go as plan)

I think next month, the next POE will be the Tower of Reason - that way it will connect between Pseudo Hell and the Undercity.

Next Poetry of Exploration - The Undercity

Next month I'll start working on parts of the Undercity. I personally haven't been down there too often since I have a tendency to get headaches around that area (maybe its the colors hurting my eyes or that you can get easily lost in this area).

From my understanding, there is the entrance, a north area, and a south area - but there may be more levels in between since the maps are labeled all over the place, so the Undercity as whole may take a bit.

I'll rest up as best I can after the holidays since I will still be working my day job which drains all my brain juice unfortunately, so I may be radio silent once again for the next couple of weeks.

So I'm psure the way I did this may not be viable long-term but 👀👀👀 I am excited to share this highly compressed alpha/wip gif of henri, strolling around in my own parallax scene with some overlay action! my little chkn is growing up and walking behind things 😭😭 but yea this is still that map w/the grand total of, like 5 passable tiles lol will be embiggening the floor area & rearranging accordingly (and still various things needing textured of course)
