Regensburg: "Stadtradeln" für ein gutes Klima

Ab 9. Mai beginnt wieder die beliebte Klimaschutzaktion in Regensburg. Bis zum 29. Mai 2020 sind alle Regensburgerinnen und Regensburger aufgerufen, für ein besseres Klima ins Rennen zu gehen und Kilometer für die Domstadt zu sammeln. Anmeldungen sind unter www.stadtradeln.de/regensburg möglich. Unter allen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern, die mindestens zehn Kilometer geradelt sind, wird ein E-Bike im Wert von rund 2 500 Euro verlost. Gestiftet wird das Rad von Ruff Cycles, einem Unternehmen, das die Räder nicht nur in Regensburg entwickelt und designt, sondern auch herstellt – in Handarbeit. „Diese Räder von Ruff Cycles sind echter Hingucker“, so die Planungs- und Baureferentin Christine Schimpfermann. „Ich bin Ruff Cycles für das Sponsoring sehr dankbar. Diese tollen Räder zeigen, dass Radfahren weit mehr sein kann als reine Fortbewegung. Das ist schon Radkultur.“ Auch Geschäftsführer Petar Desinca, Geschäftsführer von Ruff Cycles, zeigt sich begeistert: „Als lokales Unternehmen sind wir stolz, Teil der Aktion direkt vor Ort zu sein. Mit unseren Rädern möchten wir noch mehr Leute fürs Radeln begeistern und hoffen, über den Hauptpreis einen zusätzlichen Anreiz für eine Teilnahme beizusteuern.“ 2020 wird es einige Neuerungen geben. Sichtbares Zeichen wird das neue Plakat- und Flyermotiv sein, das im Rahmen eines Malwettbewerbs an der Grundschule Burgweinting gestaltet wurde. „Ich freue mich sehr über die vielen schönen eingereichten Bilder und das tolle Engagement der Schülerinnen und Schüler sowie deren Klassenlehrerinnen und -lehrer“, so Bürgermeisterin Maltz-Schwarzfischer. „Die Vielfalt der Ideen und die Liebe zum Detail zeigt, dass die Kinder wirklich Freude an der Aufgabe hatten.“ Das ausgewählte Bild für das Titelmotiv wurde von Franziska Müller gemalt. Neu ist außerdem, dass im Rahmen des Stadtradeln in Bayern auch das sogenannte Schulradeln stattfindet. Bei diesem landesweiten Wettbewerb werden weiterführende Schulen in drei Kategorien ausgezeichnet. Mitmachen können Schülerinnen und Schüler, Eltern und Lehrkräfte. Somit gibt es auch in diesem Jahr wieder eine Vielzahl an Gründen, bei Stadtradeln mitzumachen. Da Radfahren gerade in diesen Zeiten vielfach die beste Form der Fortbewegung ist, hat sich die Stadt Regensburg erneut dazu entschlossen, an der Kampagne teilzunehmen. Schließlich stärkt die Bewegung an der frischen Luft die Gesundheit und das Immunsystem. Das sehen viele Kommunen in Deutschland so, daher haben sich bereits über 830 Städte, Gemeinden und Landkreise angemeldet. San Francisc Following its resounding success across Europe, RUFF CYCLES GmbH, the Bavarian manufacturer of the popular THE RUFFIAN eBike, is opening up its first office outside Germany. The move is a response to establishing a proximity with RUFF CYCLES enthusiastic community across North America while expanding its current retailer's network in key markets. But it is also a stepping stone towards its long-term plan in attracting the right creative talent to imagine and define new products that will continue to surprise and please.
