I wanna hear more silly facts about W1, but I am curious, how horrifying can it be?

But I'll share the doodle I did before the drawing too!

I think what makes W1 scary is how petty and spiteful it's capable of being. It can hype/rile itself up very easily too.

I've always headcanoned V2 as very spiteful, but too chivalrous and prideful as a machine of peace to commit atrocities. Meanwhile V1 is absolutely rabid, but kills for it's own survival and satisfaction not necessarily to be cruel.

W1 simply combines those traits in the worst way possible. It can be hateful AND brainstorm with itself on all the fun ways to fuck someone over.

never seen much analysis of donnie and april and their dynamic and like .... i think they should bond more over their intense feelings of isolation from other people and their blind, desperate desire for outside approval more. april CANNOT actually judge donnie for his dumb decision-making trying to cozy up to the purple dragons when she was doing the exact same thing in hypno part deux 😭😭😭 but i actually imagine that's something they would find a lot of solidarity in

like more appreciation for how april is The Fumblerrrrr when it comes to other people. she tries so, so hard to fit in, to make things work, to fit herself into a shape she doesn't actually fit into, and she always seems to fall a little short. its why she keeps getting fired from jobs, doesn't seem to have many friends, and has criminally low self-esteem despite her unending tenacity. it speaks to a lifetime of feeling like she always falls behind because she's so intense and because she has such a fascination for the weird.

and originally i always saw it as kind of strange that she'd be insecure about not "feeling like she's not one of them" because it wasn't set up properly as an insecurity of hers, but now that i think about it, of course she'd feel that way. she doesn't feel like she fits in with other people, even though she tries, and when she finds other people who are weirdos just like her she doesn't fit in completely with them, either. it might be easy to parallel that kind of feeling with donnie and his soft shell too (+ his autism)

and also like. to draw a parallel more directly

i think them gravitating towards each other makes a lot of sense .... they are neurodivergent girlies who Cannot Mask and they are TRYING but they CAN NOT

and also something to be said about how respectful and careful april seems to be when she's shown working or sucking up to someone that she wants approval from, and the way that donnie repeatedly will swallow down his anger when his family do something that frustrate him (shell in a cell is a very obvious example, but he does it at a point in mind meld and you can argue like a third of witch town is just that before he also becomes The Fumblerrrr-- not to mention how he's swallowed down his reluctance about mystics genuinely all the way up to this point)

AND ALSO they are both shown to kind of lash out at each other and feel frustrated when they feel like the other impedes their goals of social acceptance,,, it would be interesting to take the angle of them kind of accidentally projecting onto each other, and being cruel unintentionally as a result. im just sayinnn

before I log off...I thought of a very angsty/tension inducing plot bunny with gojo:

playboy gojo is your opposite in every sense of the word- extroverted, confident, loud, funny, popular. nobody really understands how the two of you get along, but you believe that you both slot together like a perfect little puzzle. you’ve been harboring the biggest crush on him since you met back in college and it’s so, so obvious that you like him, but as a serial commitment-phobe you only ever see satoru date girl after girl, and he's just...never looked at you the same way 🥺

but lately he's been prying into your personal life quite a bit by asking questions like, "why don't you ever date anybody?" or saying things like "I don't understand how a woman like you can be single. you're perfect." - he's been flirtatious, even a little touchy…and you don’t want to misread signals but you can’t help but think that maybe, just maybe…your feelings might finally be reciprocated.

and one night it happens - you allow yourself to lean into his touch, to flirt back and give off signals. it was only a kiss at first, but you find yourself tangled up in satoru's sheets soon after, and everything felt far different. you were open, vulnerable, exposed in ways that you never have been before, feeling unbearably hot with his body pressed to yours and you had strong feeling that satoru felt exactly the same. despite being drunk on pleasure, you could have sworn you heard him whisper with his heavy breath against your ear the phrase "I love you" while he was inside you. and in the end, when you fell asleep wrapped in his arms you thought that no moment would be more perfect than this.

until the next morning - when that sweet, safe space transitioned into a chilly, cold terrain. satoru was stand off-ish, behaving aloof and a little bit mean. you tried to open up a conversation to talk about what happened and he kept shutting you down until he finally said those awful words that tore you up for the inside.

"we're both adults and it's just sex, right? let's not make it a big deal..."

he even laughed it off, playing everything off like the night meant absolutely nothing to him while tears pricked your eyes as your body trembled underneath the sheets. you were so taken aback by his behavior that nothing about that conversation felt real.

you got dressed while he was in the shower, and quickly made your escape out the door. leaving your heart behind in his bedroom and never looking back.

It's been four months and eight days since you last spoke, and you've never felt more alone.

playboy gojo was your best friend. he was your person, your rock...out of all the people in this world, he was the last person you expected to break you in this way.
