She's literally down bad for him ever since the presentation (the first scene we got of them being a couple). It baffles me more bc we read the book mostly from pip's pov and did yall skip the part when she wonders if ravi's eyes lit up the world?? Or when she's kidnapped and decided that its her last day alive and she isn't sad over her not being w ravi anymore but over the hurt her death would cause him. Or the part after their break up where pip says she always talks to the ravi in her head and that his happiness is always what matters to her even if that meant him finding love in another person. Or when pip hugged ravi for the last time and described her feeling as 'her soul leaving her own body want to go to ravi'.

Apparently we’re dropping our high school drama. So in 2012 this girl got murdered by her boyfriend and then killed himself. And everyone just believed this for like 5 years. Then in 2017 this girl looked into the murder for a school project and it’s a long story but she figured out who the real murderer(s) were. I’m pretty sure the boyfriend’s little brother helped her solve it too. Anyways I think she ended up going to Cambridge and she made a podcast about it. There’s also a TV show coming out about it in July 2024. That’s crazy right haha yeah fun times.

I binged A Good Girl's Guide to Murder after it released here in the US today and here's some thoughts, spoiler-free.

Pip and Ravi are amazing! They are a wonderful nerdy couple. I was giggling and kicking my feet at so many of their interactions.

I was really emotional the whole time I watched it. Like, on the verge of tears every episode. There's so many hard topics and emotional scenes in this show.

The acting is all great too. It felt like the characters really stepped out of the books, imo.

I don't remember details of the books, but I know there were some changes in the show.

I loved all the outfits in the show. Genuinely, the fashion in this was cool. Very Gen-Z with the high-waisted jeans and crop tops. I adored all the butterfly clips.

I love the line 'you're lucky i didn't put you in the ground too' cuz my girl was traumatized for her life, she faced a serial killer few days before, she thought she'd die, she unalived him, crafted an entire plan to escape, emotionally, mentally and physically devastated was basically walking on the thinnest rope but did that stop her from being a girlboss? no.

I binged all six episodes of agggtm today and I would just like to say it should have been longer. Six episodes was not nearly enough to really capture the story itself. Due to this, it ended up having really bad pacing and not enough character development.

Also, is it just me or was Pip just not….detective-smart? I mean, she was brave and she had good ideas once in a while but book Pip was solving codes and finding clues that the average person could not. Show pip didn’t really solve anything. She just went around, asking a bunch of questions and happened to run into the clues.
