“How do you know you ship them?”
When I see them together, a noise comes out of my mouth and it sounds like a dying horse.

No bc ppl saying pip doesn't love ravi as much as ravi loves pip, did we read the same book????? She's literally down bad for him ever since the presentation (the first scene we got of them being a couple). It baffles me more bc we read the book mostly from pip's pov and did yall skip the part when she wonders if ravi's eyes lit up the world?? Or when she's kidnapped and decided that its her last day alive and she isn't sad over her not being w ravi anymore but over the hurt her death would cause him. Or the part after their break up where pip says she always talks to the ravi in her head and that his happiness is always what matters to her even if that meant him finding love in another person. Or when pip hugged ravi for the last time and described her feeling as 'her soul leaving her own body want to go to ravi'.
Most importantly, IF ITS A CHOICE BETWEEN ME AND YOU, I CHOSE YOU. And she did every single time she could.

Yes. 10/10, no notes. I am, in fact, correct. No, I will not explain why. I am a vet, I have been in fandom trenches since I was a wee tween. My opinions are seasoned and cultured, borne of hours upon hours of reading time over three different platforms. A silent lurker consuming content and recontextualizing relationships in 5000 different angles. I've done my data collection, analysis, and written down the results. I drop this and disappear into the ether. I bid you farewell.

Yk personally I feel like all these booktokers who shit on good girl bad blood not being as good as the other books kinda miss the whole point of it. It doesn’t suffer from middle book syndrome it had a fucking purpose and that was to show pip’s growing disappointment and eventual hatred of the legal system that has always let her and her friends down. It’s point was to take pip from being the optimistic ‘good girl’ who believed in the rules to the pip we see in as good as dead who when faced with the decision between escape with her life or kill her future rapist and murderer so that he couldn’t ever hurt any girl again chose to fucking kill him. The second book was personally the most necessary book in the entire series because without it pip would not have been able to grow and become the pip that we all love so much and it’s just so frustrating to see all these people just completely miss the fucking point

my favorite thing has been scrolling through a good girl’s guide to murder reviews by large publications bc they all describe it as “light” “fun” and “classic” and it’s like. They really won’t know what hit them by season 3
