For the record, when the Ring isn’t in control, Frodo and Sam actually have an incredibly healthy relationship. Whether you ship them or just see them as friends, they really are goals in a lot of ways. The books show this way better than the movies, as despite their class difference, Frodo is so respectful toward Sam and never treats him like a servant, and unlike the stupid made-up scene in the movies, Frodo NEVER trusts Gollum over Sam or tells Sam to go home or doubts Sam’s loyalty for one moment. All of the dark and unpleasant moments between them are a direct result of the Ring’s effect on Frodo. Without the Ring, there is just pure mutual devotion and loyalty and kindness and tenderness between them - which, speaking as a shipper, is more than can be said about a good many popular ships.

The weight Sam is carrying throughout the Lord of the rings growing heavier and heavier to lighten Frodo's burden so he can carry the growing weight of the ring

Physically he carries a lot from the beginning and he literally ends up carrying Frodo.

Mentally Sam is carrying home, joy, hope, sadness, despair, he is carrying every emotions and feelings Frodo can't even feel anymore. He feels for Frodo so that Frodo can be free of carrying emotions. Because he knows Frodo is carrying the heaviest thing.

Frodo literally used his last life forces to get up and hold Sam close to him as soon as he heard him cry.

And then when he is about to go to the Undying Lands he literally launches himself in his arms and holds him with all his strength. Sam was the only reason why Frodo would have stayed in the Shire but he couldn’t do it. Sam had to live his life and Frodo had to overcome his traumas. They had to separate even if it meant feeling like their hearts had been ripped apart. Even if it meant not feeling whole again.

It's about time Frodo introduced Sam to his parents! Thorin, being his stubborn self, absolutely refuses that his son gets courted before he turns at least a 100 years old. Bilbo on the other hand is absolutely delighted that his son is courting the son of his dear friend Hamfast Gamgee. But this doesn't help with Thorin's heated response to this. Frodo was furious and arguments continued on for days before Thorin agreed to get to know Sam. Not even an hour later Thorin is already giving his blessing. Frodo thinks Sam survived by pure luck while Bilbo believes it's Hobbit charm. Also I think it would be very funny if the term dating used in the first drawing is like slang used by kids. Thorin being old and all doesnt get it and Bilbo thinks its very amusing.

Btw I have to apologize if the quality of my art worsened, school and work have been tough but i am determined to give you all content!
