I’m 33 episodes into the 2003 Astro Boy anime and I had been so starved of Tenma for 8 episodes that I kept going ‘OMG ITS THAT CUNT’ when he appeared again in ep 32
#immediately got the biggest most mischievous tenma-like grin on my face when I saw his mug again. what a contagious man#he does so much bitchy posing that I instinctively matched the attitude upon laying eyes on him again#I didn’t know how much I was missing him until I saw Shadow on screen again and went ‘OH MY GOD IS THAT OTHER BITCH HERE TOO???’#astro boy 2003#astro boy#I ramble#context is that I’m VERY SLOWLY making my way through the series cuz I. don’t want it to end#so really it’s been like WEEKS. a MONTH. of 2003 Tenma withdrawals#he’s actually my favorite rendition of Tenma as a character#I’m reading Pluto on the side atm and he’s only now shown up in volume 4 n he’s great there too#and ofc there’s the original manga that I’m reading#but.
