This is my entry for the "Draw this in your style" challenge by sasucchi95  I participated in 2019 ówó/

Sasucchi provided the drawing texture of the clothes for the challenge, so i used it on the drawing. It also turned things more easier this way, i remember seeing a lot of artists being thankful by that too

My favorite part was drawing and lining the hair, i really like how it turned out looking like waves surrounding the character, this is something that i did a lot back then and even today when i make some doodles i love doing this effect~~

Project 2 - Artists interview - FA222

I did an interview with the artist Tahera Abdulla and she is 26 years old, the I did ask her about since when she started drawing ? She said that she started drawing from a really long time since she was in Kindergarten when she was 5 or 6 years old. Then she said she started drawing from space toon and it was an cartoon channel for kids, and she did copy the drawings till she know how to draw well, she said that she prefer drawing more than design. Also, I did ask her what difficulties that she faced and she answered that she didn't face any difficulties when she was a kid, she did draw only for fun. After that, when she go to preparatory school, she did have a friend that she know well how to draw and they did make a coloring contest and it was about that each one should color her drawing and it was the same drawing for both of them, then her friend win with a huge difference between them with votes. This thing did broke Tahera but at the same time it was a huge move to develop her skills and be better at coloring because she felt so sad from the coloring contest. Then i did ask her about how she did start with graphic design or the digital drawing and she said that she started with creating a video which lead her to search more and she learn about motion graphic and she did try it also she did like it so much, her starting was in the high school and there was an science fair and the teacher said do your best and do whatever you like it was not a specific project but do anything that related to the theme of the science fair, then tahera think about why she don't make a video that she try something new and it was her first time creating a video. After that, she learned how to do videos more and she learned about motion graphic and she did know it well, she did also learn after effect app. I did ask her who did influence you in drawing or in graphic design? She did answer that in drawing it was a Kuwaiti painter also for motion graphic it was a foreign person she didn't know there names but she did give me the links for the artists. Then, I did ask her if she did go to painting exhibitions? She said that she did go to many painting exhibitions, and her first painting exhibitions was in 2018 and it was a nice experience. Did you get any prizes even if it was from school or from workshops or any contest that you participated outside the college? She answer that she did get many prizes but she don't remember them because she did participate in many contest when she was in school, but what she remember that she did participate in the first contest that she participate in and it was in the middle school and it was a UNESCO competition about the mother, and she did win the first place and it was such a good feelings because it was the first contest she did participate in. But when she did go to the college she didn't join that many competitions but the most competitions that she did participate in it was in Instagram it wasn't an official competition, it was an artist competition that the prize was an drawing. She did really enjoy participate in competitions because it really did help her to develop her skills at that time. Finally, I did ask her what advices that she would like to give the other students who study art and design or any one love art? She answer me that if u love art don't listen to what people say about you, because when Tahera study Physics and Mathematics in the high school  everyone did say to her you should study something is related to the art , and you will study something is harder and you will get tired and after all that you will enter a art and design major. Now to the art work that is done by the artist Tahera Abdulla.

“Oh! Hi. I’m sorry Mister Sabito. I didn’t realize you were baaabyysitting,” purrs the intruder.

Who the hell is this?!

“Excuse you. We were having breakfast before you rudely interrupted us,” (Y/n) spits back. She felt confused and enraged. Who was this and how dare she say that. Everyone knew Giyuu’s little sister.

“I see, I apologize then. I just came to drop off the new uniforms Mister Sabito was sent.”

“Leave them there then. I’ll wash them and set them up in his room. You can go now” (Y/n) stated matter-of-factly.

Sabito’s lips were pressed to a fine line. He saw the look in her brown eyes, and he knew better than to get in her way. Having grown up with (y/n), he’s learned to stay back and comply with her.

The try-hard at the door says nothing but places the the basket at the entrance and turns to leave. Not before giving one last sly smile to the silent young man.

Who does she think she is looking at him that way?

Sabito throws his head back and lets out a groan. “What’s wrong?” he demands.

“What do you mean? And don’t try changing the subject.”

A soft laugh, crossed arms, and raised eyebrows is what he gives back.

“You’re playing with your hair. You play with your hair when something bothers you.”

(Y/n) pauses. Her fingers were indeed stroking her long strands. She grumbles, “nothing gets pass you.”

They’re quiet again. The storm and tangled mess that were (y/n)’s thoughts wouldn’t settle down. Fingers swirl around her brown locks. She needed to say something.

“Why did your face turn red when she came in? And why have you been avoiding training me?”

Those sweet eyes of his turned stoic, almost looking sad. “As I tried telling you earlier. Maybe you should train with someone more your age.”

“What? Someone more my age? What are you saying!? You’re only 17, and I’m practicing 13. What’s the issue?”

Once again, silence is his answer.

Two can play that game.

Brown eyes through overgrown bangs stare back into those lavender pools of his. A battle of who breaks first goes on until the usual loser caves in.

Sabito throws his hands up in frustration. “Fine! You win! You always win. Get ready, get dressed. We start now. But make sure you cover up well.” He didn’t want a repeat of the last session where she nearly exposed herself to him.

(y/n) face glows, squealing in excitement. She leaps onto Sabito, wrapping her small arms around his neck.

She did it again. She broke his front, he just couldn’t stay serious with her. He lightly gives back a squeeze to her small frame. How could he ever say no to her?

What sort of artists do you follow? I got a deviantART largely so I could keep track of my favorites - I think you might particularly like VanRipper, the guy who made Helltaker and released it for free. :)

I follow sooo many artists tbh! They inspire me to improve my own art ^-^

I can't list every artist I follow and adore but some of my favourite and my biggest inspirations are: Hyanna-Natsu, Kate-Fox, Neko-Rina, Kittew,sasucchi95, kawacy and AoiOgataArtist.

But there are so many more >.<

I looked into VanRippers art and his style is soo unique and and interesting I really like it! ^-^
