....Okay, so....
This isn't exactly immediately following Corpus and Aegypius meeting- there's actually like 2 parts between that and this. BUT I've been projecting some of the more annoying aspects of what I was dealing with post surgery for like all of last month onto Corpus so...
You get this.
“OYE! GET YOUR TALONS AWAY FROM THOSE STITCHES!” Aegypius suddenly shouted from across the camp. Corpus made a squeaky sounding noise as he jumped and whipped his hands up to his chest. Only to proceed to groan as the startled movement aggravated the wound, the sharp pain radiating out from the sutured edges throughout his abdomen, and leaned his head backwards. He heard Aegypius get up and come over to the tent. He shot her a slightly irritated look when she reached the opening.
“What, did I scare you?” She smirked briefly down at him. Corpus’ frown deepened at her, and she snickered. Fortunately, she did relent immediately afterwards.
“Alright, sorry. I know sudden movements hurt.” Aegypius nonchalantly apologized. “You need to stop messing with the wound though.”
“I’m not doing it on purpose,” Corpus muttered. He realized his hands had started drifting towards the bandages again and plopped them down at his sides. He was almost tempted to stick them behind his back and lay on them, but didn’t want to move to do so.
“It itches, doesn’t it?” Aegypius hazarded a guess. Corpus’ eyes widened in surprise as he looked up at her.
“How’d you-?”
“Not my first time patching someone up with a deep wound.” She replied. “So I’m aware things can get uncomfortable and itchy under there. Especially you with your infection and drainage.” She frowned and crinkled her snout at the memory. Corpus grimaced; even if he couldn’t recall the time he was ravaged with the infection and fever, his imagination was easily supplying him with vivid and gross visions of what the wound had looked like. He didn’t want to keep thinking on that so he tried to change the topic to something else his subconscious had noticed long before he did.
“Speaking of wounds like this…” He started slowly, trying to word what he wanted to ask correctly. “Why are there still stitches in it? I would think there’s been more healing given the amount of time that’s past since…” He paused. Some part of him was still in disbelief that she had bothered to not just pull him off that accursed battle field but to patch him up and care for him as much as she had.
Aegypius raised a brow at him as she frowned. Possibly mistaking his question as a slight barb or suspicion against her care taking abilities. Corpus didn’t realize that, and only innocently blinked at her and tilted his head at her hesitation and look.
“I mentioned it before, when you woke up after your fever broke.” Aegypius reminded him. “You kept tearing your stitches out because you would thrash around during nightmares. Which also reopened that gash almost as frequently.” Corpus blinked again and tried to curl in on himself a tiny bit at hearing that. It must have hurt so much when it had happened. He was glad he didn’t remember it.
“Then add in the infection, and I actually had to lance it and around it a few times.” Aegypius admitted with a deep and tired sigh. Corpus made a small noise as his eyes widened again and his feathers pulled in close to his body, even more thankful his brain decided to reject those memories. It was Aegypius’ turn to blink at Corpus. She had never seen him do that before. He fluffed up when he was burning up and trying to expel body heat, but she hadn’t witnessed a Blue Song go sleek and even thinner than they already were. To her, it was very strange.
“Damn, you really are a twig…” Aegypius quietly mumbled to herself.
Corpus blinked, having heard her say something but not being able to hear it clearly. “…What?”
“What?” She asked right back at him. He furrowed his brows and looked at her confused, but ultimately decided to let it go. His feathers returned to normal as he did so.
“Never mind. But… Yes, all that does explain why I still have stitches in.” He nodded.
“And why if you tear them open again, I am ripping out your talons out of your fingers.” Aegypius deadpanned. Which was a mistake as Corpus made another small squeaky noise and his feathers started to pull in again.
“Joking! I’m joking!” She hurriedly clarified. She huffed and rubbed a hand over her eyes. “But I am getting tired of replacing them. If you could keep these last ones intact, I’d appreciate it.” Corpus glanced up at her, briefly catching a glimpse of the exhaustion she was dealing with still before she dropped her hand away from her face and hid it once more. He felt a small pang of guilt at having unintentionally made more work and stress for the Saurian who bothered to save and try to heal him.
“As I said before, I’m not doing it on purpose…” Corpus quietly defended himself. “But… I’ll, I’ll try to be more conscious of it and stop myself if I start doing it again,” he offered. It was the best he could do, for the moment anyway. Hopefully once the bandages came off the urge to scratch at and around the wound would decrease.
Aegypius cocked her head at him, having noticed the tiny shift in his demeanor. She couldn’t guess what caused it, except for maybe he still was considering her threat of declawing as genuine. Which wouldn’t completely surprise her given her Kindred’s reputation.
“That’s the best I can ask for, given everything.” She shrugged. “…How’s the pain, by the way?”
“…Fine. It’s fine.” Corpus answered. “As long as I’m not moving, it’s tolerable anyway.” He paused before narrowing his eyes and frowning at her. “And not jumping out of my skin because someone decided to suddenly raise their voice out of nowhere.” Aegypius couldn’t help the laughter that escaped her. Compared to the larger and more aggressive Desert Saurians she knew and sometimes had the misfortune of angering, the poor Blue Song soldier’s disgruntlement was comparable to that of a Nemicolopterus trying to scare a Saurian off of it’s food source. She did clamp a hand over her mouth when his glare got worse due to her amusement. It still took a moment for her to stop, however.
“Alright, alright. I’m sorry about that.” She waved a hand. “I’ll also try to keep the sudden shouting to the bare minimum.”
“You’re sorry about the sudden movement or the laughing spell at my expense?”
Aegypius snorted but thankfully didn’t start laughing again. “Fine, both. Though mostly for the movement and pain.” Corpus grumbled softly and rolled his eyes once.
“I’ll take that, thank you.”

“Well, we know that the Red Mushrooms are poisonous here, and the Blue GrubTubs are for EarthWalkers to eat, so I have to guess the White GrubTubs are for medicinal uses.” Fox stated as he used his Staff to stun some of the White GrubTubs and collect them all.
He exits out of the Ancient Well and makes it back to Tricky as he gives the White GrubTubs to the Queen EarthWalker, restoring her back to health. “Thank you, Fox and Zizzi. Thank you for saving my son, and for saving me.” The Queen EarthWalker thanked getting back up as Tricky cuddles next to her and Zizzi. “Okay, okay. Enough with the thanks. Now we need some help from you. Can just tell me what’s going on?” Fox asked.
“This attack on me was all the work of General Scales.” The Queen EarthWalker spoke. “He is the leader of the SharpClawTribe, a nasty bunch of pirates who had always wanted to rule Dinosaur Planet.” She explained as Tricky rested next to her. “We’ve always been able to stop his attacks, but this time he’s somehow become stronger and defeated our army at the Krazoa Palace...”
“Right, a bad guy... But how did the planet get in such a mess?” Fox said about how Sauria had been broken.
Zizzi was enjoying some time relaxing in Conton city after working on some missions recently. She was enjoying a nice walk around town at the moment as she looked at the sky. She had her hands in her pockets as she was wondering around.
The Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa was walking out of the Time Nest while her best friend, Tokitoki was flying alongside her and they both see Zizzi wondering around Conton City.
"Oh Zizzi! There you are." Chronoa waved and greeted to the blue Majin Time Patroller.

OK YEAH I completely forgot to post these!! A handful of my StarFox OCs. Maybe you recognize them? In order, they are: Petal, Geneva Shepherd, Izzy Dynamo, and Jast Todon.
As a refresher (or maybe an intro?):
Petal is an Aparoid made of Killer Bee and Borzoi fighter scrap metal. She was stationed on Katina, but lost all direction when the Aparoid Queen was killed. This event was fatal to most of the Aparoids, but as demonstrated by Pigma, some of them found a way to survive. Petal was one of them; her will was too strong to allow herself to die so soon. She would lay low and hide out of sight as to not be spotted by Cornerian soldiers, but was eventually discovered by Bill Grey. Rather than killing her, he took pity on her and let her live and integrate into society. She has no voice of her own and mimics other Lylatians’ voices to communicate. Since she spends most time around Bill, she sounds almost exactly like him.
Geneva Shepherd is a Cornerian-born German shepherd scientist affiliated with Andross’s empire and Venom. She views Venom’s rules as more freeing than Corneria, latching onto Venom’s side early into Oikonny’s rebellion; she was far too young to fight during the Lylat Wars. She runs a farcical Bioweapon rehabilitation program under the guise of benefiting the Cornerian government, but truthfully her program is a testing ground for her ultimate experiment: cloning Andross to revive him from the dead.
Izzy Dynamo is a Venomian frilled lizard mechanic. In his youth, though he was too young to fly a starship, he would help repair broken fighter ships alongside an older brother he lost to the Lylat Wars. He saw all Venom’s casualties as senseless and brutal, sympathizing with the remaining lieutenants who had lost many of their friends to the same war. He harbors a deep-seeded hatred for Corneria, but fears he is too weak to fight them himself. So, he made it his goal to unite Venom once more and pick up the pieces Star Fox tore out of the former empire. He teamed up with Geneva to covertly sew distrust and unrest among Corneria’s population.
Jast Todon is a hybrid—half sharpclaw half salamander—born in Sauria. As a non-dinosaur in a dinosaur world, he’d always feel inadequate and unwelcome for being “too soft”, especially among Sharpclaws. He didn’t even have clawed hands, how could he fit in, he thought. So as soon as interstellar travel was established between Sauria and the Lylat System, he left his home behind to start anew in Corneria. However, there, he began to experience the opposite problem. Suddenly he was dubbed “scary” and “beastly” by the denizens of the planet. No matter where Jast was, he felt alienated. He joined Andrew’s cause late into the rebellion and was assigned to Geneva and Izzy’s team as a bodyguard. He felt somewhat better about it, but still out of place in a way. He doesn’t care much for war or revenge, and just wants to meet someone who understands him completely.
Ok that was a lot!! I have been thinking abt these guys a lot lol. Hope you like them!

Hello, i was wondering if you have any drawings of Idyia lying around? Cause I have an image of her in my head and I wanna see if it matches up 👀
I have a couple actually, but not online yet. Mostly just trying to figure out how to draw her and such. I'll share them in a bit! I got some stuff to get done first.
EDIT: Wow, okay. That took longer than I meant to. Sorry, I'm dealing with a busted shoulder and doing things one handed, plus remote work during the week. ANYWAY-
I'm gonna give you bonus Rubra-Harenas too. This how they both looked at the start of everything, just so you know. (Also sorry about the quality. I don't have a scanner and doing everything one handed is hard!)

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?
Oh gosh, what do I NOT have on the back burner at this point?  I guess mild spoilers ahead for projects, although I’m really just going over the major plot point, not really what happens at the end.  Here’s a rough list of WIPs that have yet to be published in any capacity:
Transparent Hearts -- Several months after the events of Star Fox Adventures, Fox receives a message from General Pepper that there are rumors of a rebellion occurring between several of the fringe planets of the Cornerian Empire.  To try to smooth out tensions, General Pepper has decided to hold rallies featuring pop sensation La Luna, who is famous across all of the Lylat System.  Unfortunately, La Luna has become the target of an enigmatic assassin and Star Fox is hired to protect them from a grisly fate.  Also will feature a Fox and Krystal slow burn romance subplot.  This is the next “big” fic I have planned.
The Investigation -- Effectively, my hot take on the death of Vixy Reinard-McCloud and, more importantly, the investigation into her murder.  Takes place through the POV of an OC who is working as the detective on the case.  Features stuff like young Andrew, Fox being injured in the blast that killed his mom, James being mournful and trying to be a vigilante to figure out who killed his wife, and Andross being creepy.  Also lots of General Pepper.
Cheap Thrills -- The story of Falco joining the Star Fox team.  Involves Falco’s career as a criminal, Bill Grey makes an appearance, and Fox blackmailing Falco at one point.  Lots of shenanigans, probably won’t be a super long fic but more like And the World, A Little Bit Darker (25k words)
Serendipity -- A sequel to To Ashes, that follows Fara Phoenix becoming a vigilante on Papetoon.  Features Katt Monroe a lot.
Love and War -- Love Guru rewrite, aka how Krystal and Panther ended up together.  Also how Amanda and Slippy ended up together. Pre-Command stuff.  I started writing this idea a while back and ended up hating my own pacing so I’m rebooting it eventually.
O Fortuna -- A fic about Andrew getting into a political marriage with the Empress of Fortuna.  Lots of fluff and Andrew being awkward.
Requiem -- the story of what happened to Cerinia from Krystal’s POV, featuring Randorn.
Shadowed Starlight -- The fic idea that actually birthed every single SF fic I’ve ever made.  A completely original story that happens post-Command in which Dash and Andrew team up to cause the Second Lylat War against Corneria.  POV switches between Fox McCloud and Lloyd Darkmoon (OC), who are on either sides of the war.  Features Miyu and Fay as well as some spoilers from And the World, A Little Bit Darker.  Basically every fic I’ve written is supposed to point to this fic, which goes into a lot of worldbuilding stuff I’ve made over the last few years.
Aphelion -- The tentative sequel to Shadowed Starlight.
Unnamed Sequel to Aphelion -- Self-explanatory.  I have 3 ideas for post-Command stories and this would be the last one officially.
Along with these are some vaguer ideas:
A short fic about Fox and Krystal breaking up
A fic about Star Fox investigating suspicious activity on Sauria post-aparoids.
A fic about Fox being in a coma and Krystal has to use magic to pull him out of it.  Lots of mind magic, deep dive stuff with Fox’s childhood.
A fic about how Leon and Wolf found Panther.
Obviously these are a lot of fics and I don’t know if I will ever get to them all.  HOWEVER... I plan to be around for awhile so let’s hope I at least get to half of them.  Some of them are not going to be super long.

//I’ll be quite frank: I haven’t touched anything Star Fox Adventures-related since high school. Even with all the data mining and dumping of earlier Dinosaur Planet builds, so much as gone over my head due to how... I guess, divorced I am from Adventures? Like I loved the game as a teenager, but as I got older and older, and examined the game for its worldbuliding and mechanics more, it pissed me off on an exponential rate the more I re-explored the setting. I’m sure if I had the passion I used to have, I’d be eating up the data mining like candy, but alas, I have been on a Breath of the Wild kick after gorging on other Zelda games (as it was a franchise I also have not touched since high school lmao).
With all this said, I remember enough of Adventures to know what did make me mad: the lack of worldbuilding that makes sense, a viable explanation for the Bafomdads’ reviving powers, how Andross taking over the Krazoa felt like an asspull, etc. But given that there are folks willing to create RP blogs based on characters and settings they actually give a shit about, I am expecting you guys have your own headcanons on how to straighten out the mindnumbingly bad worldbuilding. And we can definitely work this into Peppy creating maps and researching the history of the planet.
Bear in mind I don’t hate Adventures; most of what made me mad about it is mostly regarding the worldbuilding and how incomplete the game is in general. And I’m sure that’s a complaint anyone who has played the Star Fox games can complain about, lmao.
I can work up some headcanons as to why Peppy retired from the cockpit because honestly, the game playing up a 49-year-old Peppy like he’s twice that age was another thing that pissed me off--49 is not that old, especially as a pilot. Oh, he can definitely play up the “I’m too old” card (he did that in Farewell, Beloved Falco lol), but in general, I never liked how he’s raspy and decrepit as though he’s a sneeze away from the grave. Not to mention he hopped into the cockpit and saved Pepper’s life in Assault and is even playable in multiplayer there and in one of the campaigns for Command, so.... eat shit, Adventures.
Anyway, I’ve rambled long enough. Like or Reply with your secondary blog name if you’d like to have adventures with Peppy on Sauria, going off on the older builds of Dinosaur Planet where he and Slippy were very clearly on planetside. And you don’t have to be an Adventures canon character to do this--any Star Fox-verse character will do, so that includes OCs, former Androssian units, and miscellaneous allies. Really, I just miss RPing with you guys. And while I kept saying Adventures pisses me off, there is still that hint of nostalgia I’d like to hit up again.

Starfox OC detail time
Name: Sapphire Mccloud
Species: half red fox, half Cerinian fox
Age: 26 earth years
Pronouns: she/her
Rank: lead pilot of the starfox mercenary Corp. Ascension branch.
Bio: youngest child of Fox Mccloud and Krystal Mccloud, Sapphire was raised on coneria, and brought up with much more learned and tactical mind than her brother, Marcus.
Sapphire lived in relative peace, keeping to book, war holo's and various records and stories from conflicts passed, to the chagrin of Kyrstal.
Despite being the younger of the two siblings, she has displayed a far greater mental aptitude, somewhat more befitting of her mother.
She was even brought up with extra wisdom and personal assistance from a last enclave of cerinian foxs upon sauria, which taught Sapphire of her natural telepathic and psycic abilities and even of her heritage as a cerinian.
Her proficient behavior in tactical and thoughtful combat has caused even the most sophisticated mock holo battles to struggle to keep up with her as she always wanted to be prepared for the real thing someday.
Upon her 16th year of birth, she was given her own staff to wield and command her mental abilities, especially elemental forces.
Upon her 17th year, given private formal training from tye cornarian flight Corp, to train her in the basics of flight combat, and then her 18th birthday, trained further under her father Fox to be come an ace in her own right.
Extra years of training and perfecting her own art of strategy, Sapphire gradually came into her own by a small trek upon the frozen planet of fachina, having crash landed after testing a new arwing prototype.
Upon landing, she met up with the local hostile pirate force calling themselves the ice claws and she quickly used her skills to their fullest, completly outfighting a full war band and eventually making her way to another larger abandoned crashed vessel.
Upon trying to hail a signal for her rescue upon the tundra planet, she eventually meets a face she wouldn't expect to see on a frozen world like fachina, another red fox, with green nordic markings.

🔥 + Star Fox Ocs
[ Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.  | Accepting! ]
–-
I swear I answered this before. 100% I’m fine with them since Star Fox characters are simple archetypes anyway, OCs just need to build their foundations and make it strong with purpose so they don’t actually warp reality.
I’ll copy and paste it to prove my point:
Original Characters are not bad in any fandom whatsoever. While there is a constant fear and loathing of Mary Sues and Gary Stus, they’re actually kind of hard to do when you fully know the fandom source material. Original characters in the fandom are created to fit in an established canon franchise, what makes a Mary Sue/Gary Stu poor written is less of the perfection or tragic backstory. But it’s by their inclusion, that they warp reality.
They ignore canon, they usurp canon, or (in the most damning way) make characters out of character so they can fit into place. They interrupt the rules of the universe itself by not fitting in within the setting.Canon sues are super rare and hard to do, because you have to be incompetent as a writer, and if they are main characters they usually sink the whole franchise or series itself. This is why when canon sues do come around (Venus di Milo from the Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation)  they are often removed from the source.  A canon sue is hard to create if it happens – are you have to build a world around them and the rules around them most of the time. This isn’t saying you can’t break any rules, but there is very much a reason why say Tenchi from the Tenchi Muyo series is now loathed compared to what he was in the first OVA. He kept breaking the rules in his own universe to the point he’s now a god greater than the Choushin. Yeah. No. A fandom Mary Sue/Gary Stu is common because people don’t do research or find a proper place to fit the character or even get them to fit within the constraints of the universe they’re put into. A badly written shoehorned OC by any name, by any construction is what it is. A character being powerful or skilled at something does not make them a Gary Stu/Mary Sue. They are only a bad character when they obliterate any suspension of disbelief. This is why Krystal sometimes gets a lot of unearned hatred compared to say Amanda, Lucy, Beltino, and especially Panther. It’s because she doesn’t really fit the universe to the point the canon itself doesn’t know what to do with her but still keep the spot light on her.
She is not a Mary Sue per say, but she is a badly written character because she’s complex and contradicting but not giving the proper answers in a world of simple archetypes. Fox for instance, got his development in 64/Zero, his motive being defeating Andross. Krystal … didn’t get that type of development due to the fact she was aligned to being the love interest. So she never gets any catharsis. But to make her interesting, they gave her special powers that were only used in one major instant and not in the end when they should have been. (She should have been able to sense Peppy. End of story.) She was transparently only given those abilities, because we needed to get to Sauria somehow. It never comes up again. The other characters might play one note, but they play that one note well vs. the chaotic keyboard smashing of trying to figure out what to do with Krystal. ( Well, except for Dash but he has a flawed character construction and base as Krystal but different reasons but that’s a whole different story. He falls into the category he warps the entire plot to become the most important character. Krystal is a case she doesn’t fit. Both are easy fixes though, which is probably why they are going down the Zero path to reintroduce them later. )Original Characters are great and especially in a canon as open-ended as Star Fox, you can play a lot with them. It’s just a character you play closer and closer to the plot, you got to make excuses of why they are not there in the media. Luckily, there are many planets to choose from in Lylat where you can place them elsewhere while the main plot goes on. As long as you don’t break the universal constraints, or have a VERY good reason why it’s broken – you won’t have any real problem.

@bluemajingirl continued from here Zizzi would keep waving to the redeye king as she would started to flying around the place as she was leading him to some different area to let them get set up with the next spot. She just had to hope they had a electric trap ready.
The next electric trap was ready as Fox and I gotten the RedEye King lured into the voltage generator, and struck him again. We then take him down again, and he couldn't move. "Time to get that SpellStone." I said to Fox as he uses Krystal's Staff to remove the SpellStone off his head.
Before Fox could get it, the RedEye King was going to do one last attack. "Watch this." I said to Zizzi as I smiled. Using his keen instincts, Fox jumped and dodged the RedEye King's last attack as he began to pierce the King's skull with the sharpened segment of Krystal's Staff, killing the RedEye King.
"Long live the RedEye King." I chuckled as Fox collected the third SpellStone and left the lair while I return to the Time Nest. "Have you got it?" Tricky asked to Fox and Zizzi as he and the King EarthWalker were outside the temple, next to the Arwing. Fox nods in confirmation.
"Dad, look what we got!" Tricky said to his father about the SpellStone. "Well done. You have all made me very proud." The King EarthWalker spoke. "Do not worry, son. I will stay within the city until it has returned to the planet. I will see you again soon." He said to his son. "Now let's waste no more time. You have a SpellStone to return to the volcano."
