Everything is going to let you down in some way shape or form. This not a curse, it's the likelihood of life. No human is perfect. Each of us have our own responsibilities in life and our own burdens. Computers too can let us down. Phones can get damaged as well as lost and if you didn't backup data then again your system or devices have let you down. If you have important content on your phone or computers you need to back it up, save it somewhere safe so it's there when you need it. Print things out before they get lost or damaged. Uploading everything to the cloud also isn't secure.  Even online storage like Google Drive or Dropbox aren't 100% safe. There is no format online or off that offers 100% secure backups. Is this some kind of #twisted #aprilfoolsday #joke??? I just have to say: #WTF??? & #HELP!!! • • • If you’re like me and have an #ipadpro with #ios, in this case iOS 12, I’m just wondering if something like this ever happened to you... • Somehow my IOS12 Files app stored everything (and I really mean EVERYTHING) inside the #adobereader app folder - so basically everything I’d choose to save on my #ipad would go straight to that folder... don’t ask me why as I have noooooo clue (hey I’m #clueless!!!) as why that happened this way... • The #problem is whenever you’re #savingfiles you end up doing it automatically into that folder and somehow you’re #believing your now #lostfiles would be #safe in this location because hey it’s (supposedly) in a #safespace in your iPad!!! • Well, apparently... NOT!!! • Maybe it’s just that I’m not iPad #techsavvy enough or that I was absolutely and utterly #dumb and #dumberer for uninstalling #acrobatreader from the main screen and not from the #uninstall main menu in settings... maybe that way I’d see there was “something” really big (like about over 20gb of all kinds of file types from pdfs to svgs to zips or even xls/numbers and doc/pages documents...), I’d have checked how in hell that’d be possible and then I wouldn’t have #lost ALL that #unreplaceable data and #information....... • So on April Fools Day I was ROYALLY SCREWD by #apple, #ios12, #filesapp, #adobe, #acrobat and - who would have believed it - my own #ignorance by the simple act of clicking on the “x”!!! • Has anyone had these really nice (🤢🤮) kind of #misadventures before??? Or do you know anyone who has gone through this before??? Have you/anyone successfully managed to solve this problem??? • Please HELP!!! A perpetual lesson in life

We are taught this lesson when we are young and learn it through hardships. If we forget it, it returns to haunt us once more. Only two days ago, I spent hours pouring effort into making a short little spaceship animation, the first one I’d made on Cinema 4D. Then my computer crashed and the file was lost because…I’d forgotten to save it beforehand.
