It’s a feel good show, the characters are pretty likable ( majority of them at least ) It has three seasons with 12 episodes each, but they also have two or so mini episodes, so it’s basically like 36 episodes per season. Idk if the fandom is dead or not, but if it is it can always come back ��

I’m thinking about trying to find out what ages they all are, but that’s only if I have the time.

Revisiting childhood shows is crazy. My mom really sat me down with my sibling and let me what Ruby Gloom and Figaro Pho.

Now that I think about it, with some of the shows I’ve watched, I’m starting to understand why I am the way I am..

HELL YEAH I DO!!! scaredy bat has been my favorite since i was a little kid, i always found him adorably charming and he sparked my childhood special interest in bats (alongside a handful of other notable bats in media like batty from ferngully, stellaluna, and the silverwing books)... i really like how he's constantly walking around eating mosquitoes in a bag like popcorn. its really cute and funny, and taught me that bats eat mosquitoes when i was but a wee zackling

i really love every character in the show tbh, misery is my 2nd favorite character just because of how memorable and funny she is. shes a really unique and refreshing character, i feel like i havent seen any characters like her before or since... shes just this utterly jaded miserable lump of a person who's been conditioned to expect the worst, and she's right every single time, because she's had to endure centuries of horrifically bad luck that follows her everywhere. and yet... she still gets to hang out with her friends that love her for who she is and don't try to change or fix her.

that's one thing i really love about ruby gloom. it really feels like this big family of freaks who truly understand and sympathize with one another and care for each other without condition or stipulation
