The acolytes toiled endlessly, raising great obelisks to siphon power straight from the desert beneath them. They needed no food or rest, for by their master’s grace, their bodies had been stripped of such menial needs. In the distance, the Sun Disc was just barely visible, making it clear just how precarious this task truly was... However, they were not be deterred. Their master would arrive soon, and when he did, it would at last be time to march on Azir’s capital. Little did they know that the Hawk Emperor was aware of their activity, and his forces would soon arrive to put a stop to it...

Bahiti closed her eyes and concentrated. She recalled her lessons, recalled her emperor’s words in her mind. She focused on the image in her head, the image of the Sandcharger, and channeled it into her staff. The image traveled outward into the nearby grains of sands, causing them to rise into the air. Slowly but surely the construct began to take shape... And then fell apart. Bahiti sighed in frustration, but tried to keep herself composed. After-all, her emperor was watching.

Oh, so that was the 'sun disc'. She would have tot ske note of it. During all her time she never got the opportunity to approach the capital of Shurima, mostly because she isn't finding problems during her travels, but apparently the Gods smiled at her that day and she finally made it. She thought that gold circle was an special effect or something like ruins. In the Shadow Isles one can find plenty of those structures which defy gravity.

As for the pigeon attending her, she assumed he was a tall vastaya (with a rich sense of fashion). Similar, different? Hmm, which one could be the correct definition to compare this view with the one of her homeland. When the tall bird kneeled, the woman moved her hands over her chest and smiled at the creature. He was being nice to her, it was the least she could do.

hi im mod kitty! this is a sideblog where i edit those silly cat books! all art does not belong to me unless stated otherwise, and their artists will be in the tags AND in the post descriptions. more under the cut. this blog may or may not contain spoilers about the book.

Credit, credit me somewhere. A link to my blog, or just my blog name is fine, but I'm not strict about this one since I do use watermarks. I do this for fun, and I want the credit if possible. But also, PLEASE CREDIT THE ARTISTS! If you do not credit me because of my watermark that is fine, but credit the artists!

Patience, I'm a kid on the internet editing for fun. I have a life outside of this, be patient with me and don't constantly ask when your request will be done.

Please be specific in your request. If you want an icon/wallpaper/banner, what will the size be? Do you want a certain color scheme? Aesthetic? Do you want me to avoid anything? etc. If you don't specify size, I'll go to the defaults. If you don't specify a color/aesthetic theme, I'll do one I feel like doing.
