Earlier today I realized, much to my horror, that I've never drawn Daphne in my favourite era of hers

Gotta adore this look! The blazer? The more prominent amount of green? The simplistic style and smart, elegant vibe? Just drop-dead gorgeous

Oh and I've always loved her blue eyes, I mean no hate for Mystery Incorporated show but purple eyes for character that wears purple? really? (Also that Daphne was kinda meh in general if you ask me idk)

The further along I went in trying to find characters for this list, the more people kept popping up in my head. But for various reasons, I didn't include them.

Now, Black History Month brings about conflicting opinions. But I figured in the spirit of just honoring some black characters, I wanted to share some from shows and movies that have significance to me in some way.

Again some are missing and I'm sure I forgot some, but I hope some here are recognizable.

when i was a kid i enjoyed a lot of pbs shows, like Martha speaks and cyberchase and wordgirl and Arthur and some other ones. But those were my main i think

my mom said i really liked samurai jack but I didn’t remember any of it when i rewatched it a few years ago

i loved the lion king 2 movie a lot actually, because like. ,, , , , , i wanted to pretend to be kovu. So when i was like 5 i forced my nieces and nephews to be my subjects while i was king kovu on the plastic slide in the back yard

my favorite books as a kid were Nancy drew books and the Martha speaks book i had (i. Think it was called Martha blah blah. It was the one where she can’t talk because the company reduced letters in the soup.)

i got into warriors as a teenager but I wouldn’t say they’re my favorite, i do get really fixated on warrior cats lore but i think its more like a video game kind of thing than a book kind of thing as the main aspect i enjoy is the community, so I can’t say its my favorite either. The 5th arc of the series is my favorite of warriors though, i can say that at least

i enjoyed the original ducktales and stuff as a kid too. I remember that. Darkwing duck as well, probably chip and dale rescue rangers cartoon too. I also liked animaniacs and the old looney tunes & Tom n Jerry.

I remember a lot of scooby doo as well, the one i got sick of watching was the one where they go inside a video game and they have doubles with their old clothes. It was on tv often lol

A top 5 list of characters from animated TV shows/movies who were originally voiced by one actor, but then voiced by another later on.

1: Chester McBadbat (Originally voiced by Frankie Muniz, replaced by Jason Marsden.)

2: Digit (Originally voiced by Gilbert Gottfried, replaced by Ron Pardo. Due to Gottfried's death in 2022.)

3: Meg Griffin (Originally voiced by Lacey Chabert, replaced by Mila Kunis.)

4: Ted "The Man in the Yellow Hat" Shackleford (Originally voiced by Will Ferrell, replaced by Jeff Bennett.)

5: Shaggy Rogers (Originally voiced by Casey Kasem, replaced by Matthew Lillard.)
