To all ye Star Trek fanartists and fanfic writers: Sometimes I like to think that after the fact of TNG S6E07 ("Rascals"), one of two things happens 1) Picard gets Riker a mug with red writing that says "#1 Dad" as a gag gift. It unironically becomes Riker's favorite mug, and he drinks out of it regularly. No one knows why he has this mug, though. He's not a father that they know of, so why does he have one of these mugs?? 2) Riker gets himself that mug, just so he can slowly and obviously drink out of it right in front of Picard, making sure the Command Division Red letters are well within Picard's view. It makes Picard want to squirm and/or say something, but if he does, then people will ask. And if people ask, he's going to have to explain the "He's my Number One dad!" scene. He doesn't have the strength to do that. Riker is enjoying every second of it. But yeah, feel free to turn that into art and/or fanfic etc etc whatever lol
