ARE YOU READY FOR THE MONSTER (MONSTER)

Using Scrap Sonic here as my stand-in for Spinbot, since Spinbot doesn't have an avatar on VRChat.

This is Spinbot, a version of Sonic I created from a BAD END AU, where Robotnik wins and roboticizes the dear hero, inhibiting his good traits and amplifying his toxic ones, while also making him loyal to the Empire.

I realized last night that he and Adam (Hazbin) have the same personality and I was like OUEGH LMAO

I love the Scrap Sonic model, though. I hope the lighting on the grey metal parts is fixed though because it's very bright in dark worlds.

New concept art for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024) has released. (More on their website since Tumblr only allows a certain about of photos on a post). Here’s an excerpt below translated in English:

Hello, everyone. We are Tianheyan Studio.

In 2022, we were invited by Jeff Fowler, director of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, to participate in the preliminary conceptual design of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It's an honor to participate in this series of films again.

This time, we are mainly responsible for the drawing of some keyframes and some character modeling. The keyframe concept map plays a helpful role in the establishment of the film tone style, and can also assist in guiding the work of visual effects. Some keyframes also need to design specific scene details. The character modeling is mainly based on the performance photos of Dr. Egghead (Kim Kerry), exploring witty makeup and costume design suitable for matching with animated characters.

Here are some of the results of our team's keyframe concept maps. Thank you for your support.

I thought it would be fun to draw Espio using a couple different weapons and it was. :3

#espio the chameleon #sth #sonic fanart #this was gesture practice but i couldn't help but clean them up and give it some lazy color xD #i actually did the top one with the sniper rifle last #when i was drawing the rest i thought about how as a kid i use to draw sonic characters really edgy #i would draw them with swords and guns and angel / devil wings and scene outfits and i wish SO HARD i still had that art HAHAHAHA #...the perspective is off on that drawing and i only just noticed *hisses* oh well XD #oh i had another sketch with him using a ball and chain but i couldn't get the sense of movement right so i scrapped it #also another pose with a sword but i thought that was boring and then drew the bow #i actually don't remember what the bottom of his shoes look like i didn't use any reference for that drawing beside the gun #*proud of growing espio drawing skills*
