I'm planning on integrating those names into the lore tho as a lil haha funny BUT YEAH WHOO SCREEB OC. Also the first time I've drawn in forever I'm rlly happy with how this looks.

Oh hey an Excuse To Draw My Blorbos.

My two main Guardian OCs: Ajax/Eijaks, House Lightbearer and his Ghost Praxis/Praksis, and his buddy Alara Twice-Risen, and her Ghosts Chang'e and Sothis. Alara and Sothis were featured in the Destinytober art I posted earlier this month.

Alara

Former Corsair, first death occurred during the Reef Wars (Ajax was the one who did it, but it was a mutal kill. Plus neither of them remember, so like... who cares?).

Scarring on her right arm and left eye from the wounds caused during said first death. (This is basically just a personal headcanon that those wounds remain as a scar).

Tattoo on left arm: the Gambit symbol mixed with the Hunter logo (super snakey), and then the Planestrider emblem as a sleeve tattoo.

Hunter, favours Solar Light.

Spends a lot of her time in Awoken territory, to the point that some of the Corsairs forget she's not the same person they knew during the Wars.

Kind of mad Crow got his memories back, spent a lot of time fucking around with Deepsight seeing if she could pull the same trick (she could not; all she got was a headache)

Gee Alara, how come the Light lets you have two Ghosts? (It's a bunch of meta reasons basically)

Sothis

Found Alara in the Reef.

Wears Crimson Days shells because she loves romance novels.

Has killed before (transmatted a big rock onto a screeb).

Was not around during the events of Beyond Light, was incredibly mad at Alara after hearing she was involved with it.

Enjoyed Sagira sharing her body a little too much.

Chang'e

Found Alara in the Cosmodrome, thought she was a New Light.

Shaw Han has never let them live this down.

Not too fond of Stasis, much more intrigued by Strand and Deepsight though.

Exclusively wears the really spherical shells.

Eijaks

Former House of Wolves Vandal. As above, first death occurred in the Reef Wars.

Resurrection-scarring on the back of his head because he was kicked off a large drop. Also has scarring on lower arms from where they were docked (being raised grew them back).

Titan (per Vanguard designation, refers to himself with an Eliksni word loosely meaning "Buccaneer"), favours Arc Light.

Party trick: charging Thunderclap with one set of arms while shooting with the other.

Armour is a mixture of House of Wolves armour (some in Wolves colours, some in Awoken colours), Titan Marks with House of Light emblems, and cloaks (originally worn to conceal lower arms, now kind of just for the fashion).

Runs an art class in the Botza District during his downtime.

Praksis

Did not realise his Guardian was an Eliksni when he raised him.

Got over it pretty fast after reaching the Vestian Outpost.

Eye-lights turned purple and curved as a result of integrating Servitor technology.

Has a collection of shells made in Eijaks' art classes.

A few meta-notes under the cut cause its a lot more rambly and full of Opinions.

So the main inspiration for Alara (beyond the obvious of her just being my main Destiny PC) was centred around the nature of Ghosts and so on. For as important as they are, we kind of don't know a lot about them! And I think that's cool! I expect Final Shape might give us a little more information but I doubt the mystery will be fully dispelled.

So, the biggest questions I have are essentially; do Ghosts get to choose who they raise? Obviously they can choose not to raise their guardian; just look at Fynch. But can they choose who their guardian is? So in a thematic sense, Alara is basically a stress test of these questions. What if a Guardian had two Ghosts, who both independently chose to raise them from death at different points in time? How can you explain that within what we know of Guardians and Ghosts.

However, there's another element behind this. And that is, pretty bluntly, I stopped playing D2 for about a year, and I got back into it with New Light. I briefly changed platforms but essentially kept my Guardian the same in terms of look. So, when I merged the accounts with cross save... it was kind of like two different guardians with different stories of how they were raised becoming one.

As for Eijaks, thats much more simple. I just really like Eliksni. But also like, we know that Ghosts aren't limited to raising humans (just look at the lucent brood). So, I started thinking about what an Eliksni Guardian could be like.

Also as a note on his naming; I thought it would be fun to give him a Guardian-ish name that wouldn't sound out of place, but also could be a valid Eliksni name. Thus, Ajax/Eijaks.

OK BUCKLE UP IT'S INCOHERENT RAMBLING TIME (WARNING THIS GOT LONG WHOOPS)

MMM I think it will be about how Lokris (My Titan) met The Young Wolf, and joined the Iron Wolves! (Their Fireteam)

So! A little backstory first: Lokris (Also known as Loki) was, in his previous life, one of the awoken loyal to Uldren Sov after Mara's 'death.' Which... If you didn't know, Uldren basically slaughtered all of them. So anyways, Loki ended up dying (By screebs, this isn't relevant but it's funny) and being revived as a lightbearer, by Helix!

Helix is a little ray of sunshine and thinks everyone deserves the best... Often to his own detriment. Poor lil' guy almost got snatched up by Spider a few times while searching for his guardian out on the Reef.

Helix was warned time and time again by other ghosts that going to the Reef was basically a death sentence, but Helix was so sure his guardian was out there, he went anyways.

And he was right! His guardian was there!

Loki may have been a mangled corpse corrupted by dark ether at the time, but he was there!

Loki still has a ether burn scar on his chest that, no matter how many times he's brought back, never goes away.

He was raised about a year and a half before Season of the Hunt, and was basically left stranded in the middle of the Reef, not even knowing his own name. Helix tried to explain everything the best he could... But he's not very good at explaining stuff.

They hid out in what was, unknown to either of them, Loki's old home, since most of his family's possessions were either destroyed or stolen. It was also infested with Scorn, so they didn't hide there for long.

After a few days, he was found by a lone Eliksni maurader by the name Kolkyris.

At first she was afraid of him, since he was a lightbearer and all, but once she noticed he had no clue what he was doing as a lightbearer, she decided to basically adopt him. She also gave him his name, since she felt he deserved one.

(If you guys want I can make more posts about my ocs I LOVE talking about them and I have tons of lore for Kolkyris and her gang)

After a bit of convincing, Kyreks, the captain of the gang, said they could keep Loki around, and he became fast friends with all the gang members, growing close to them and going on plenty of adventures. They were family.

Cut to Season of the Hunt.

Loki was out with his gang one day, just sorta, existing on the Tangled Shore, when one of their members, Ravyks, who had always had an interest in hive magic, came across a cryptolyth. Yes, one of those cryptolyths. For days they tried what they could to see what the cryptolyth did... And it worked. They managed to summon a Wrathborn. The Wrathborn quickly tore through the gang of only 8 members. Killing all of them but Ravyks and Kolkyris. Ravyks took for the hills the second people started dying, while Kolkyris managed to escape through sheer luck.

The rest of the gang wasn't so lucky. (Don't worry tho!! I have plans for them.)

Loki watched as they all died one by one, and no matter how many times Helix brought him back, he couldn't save them.

And boy was he mad about it.

He managed to take down the Wrathborn that murdered his friends, but only after they were gone and he was the last one standing.

He was so lost without them, so confused, that the only place he could think of going now was to the one place he probably shouldn't go.

He went to The Spider.

Loki had heard of the lightbearer that Spider had taken under his wing, and he thought just maybe they could help.

With what exactly? Revenge. Burning down every cryptolyth until there were none left. Exterminating the Wrathborn.

There, he met The Young Wolf, and The Crow.

After a few success Wrathborn Hunts, The Young Wolf realized: 'hey, I can bring this new light I just met to the tower, since he's not, y'know.... Since he's not Uldren'

So he did, and there Loki met Kai, and boy did they hit it off immediately! (Quite litterally BC I ship them :3)

Later on, during Season of the Chosen, Loki met Lord Saladin, and Saladin taught him how to properly use the arc subclass and solar subclass. His favorite is the giant flaming Battle Axe of doom.

Saladin saw how he got along with The Young Wolf and Kai, plus how he fought, and came to him one day, offering to let him train to join the Iron Lords. He may not know much about them, but he knows that they're super awesome since two of his new besties are Iron Lords themselves.

So yeah! That's all I got for Loki without going into spoiler territory because I may or may not attempt to write something abt my YW and Crow, which features him.

Guardian Games {Destiny 2}

AN: Something short to celebrate the arrival of Destiny 2′s Guardian Games.

Involves my Hunter and her fireteam... as well as the new Guardian that was Prince Uldren Sov. Implied Fem!OC/Uldren

The light smack of a hand against the metal container startles the Guardian from his thoughts. His hand slyly shifts without a sound to rest on the hand cannon gifted to him by his friend during the Dawning celebrations. His Ghost, Pulled Pork transmat a helmet to cover his face, the pair unsure if whoever tapped the container was friend or... foe.

An unmasked face peers around the corner, cloak hood up but eyes glowing an eerie lavender from the shadows of their face. The Hunter standing before the Guardian grins, “C’mon, Uldwyn, we’ve got work to do.”

Uldwyn frowns at his friend, though she is unable to see due to the helmet masking his face, but stands from his corner regardless. Ceylon had a habit of dragging him off on her adventures, so he had grown accustomed to her just spontaneously appearing. “Where are we going today?”

Even though he only had negative interactions with Guardians before he met Ceylon, she had been one of the few that hadn’t acted like the others. He’d teamed up with her to take care of some of the Red Legion in the area, and his helmet had been knocked from his head, exposing his face to her. Though he expected rage or a chilly silence, Ceylon had only smiled at him, something he later found out was quite rare for her.

“We’re heading to the Tower.” The grin only widened when Uldwyn paused by the entrance, eyes widening in fright at walking into the Last City. “Oh don’t be like that, Uldwyn. I won’t let any of them hurt you.” The tiny Hunter gripped his arm and tugged gently, dark hair falling loose from her braided hair. “Besides, all of us Hunters gotta head back to the Tower to show our dominance over the Titans and Warlocks.”

A snicker could be heard from the other side of the small woman, and Uldwyn’s eyes narrowed, taking in the familiar form of Ark-3, the Exo male also forgoing his helmet as he smirked at the two hunters. “Uh huh. Sure. If you guys win, it’s only because there’s too many of you. Besides, Titans and Warlocks are better than Hunters.”

From behind Ark-3 was Nyl, Ceylon’s brother, who merely gestured to his temple, “We’re definitely smarter than you all.”

An exaggerated gasp left Ceylon’s lips, “Take that back! At least I don’t punch my way through hordes of enemies!”

“Fuck you!” Ark screamed, not wanted to remember the many incidents with the cursed thralls and screebs.

“No, you just run from them.” Nyl snarked, now unaware that his sister was secretly planning his murder.

Ceylon pouted and gestured towards her fireteam members, “See! We have to show them who’s better!”

The resurrected Prince sighed, “I don’t have to take my helmet off, right?” When Ceylon shook her head, the male Hunter shrugged in acceptance, “Then I don’t see why not.”

Nyl and Ark could only look on in exasperation when Ceylon cheered and dragged Uldwyn down the path, chatting away excitedly.

So @viridoculus​ is awesome and made me a jar full of OC questions for Christmas (which is such an amazing present - you know me so well, thank you! ♥) and I finally had the time to sit down and answer the questions I randomly drew for January.

So here goes:

Here’s a list of my OCs btw to make things less, uh, confusing. Also, this handwriting is the prettiest.

1. Meri, what’s your biggest goal?

 I’m reasonably sure that life goals etc are frowned upon when you’re a Jedi – what with the whole Jedi Code dictating basically every aspect of one’s life (and also, in Meri’s case, growing up very sheltered and never really knowing a life outside of the order). So if asked, Meri’s biggest life goal to this day would probably be something like helping people and defending the Republic. It’s also why he rejoined the Jedi Order at the first opportunity that presented itself after the whole Alliance Commander thing (suddenly having a fiancé a bit awkward though, what with sitting on the Jedi Council now. Oops).

 2. Aleix, what were you like as a kid?

Like a litter of teenaged kittens. His parents probably sent him away to train as a freelancer under his aunt purely out of self-defence. Not that it helped very much. He still has entirely too much energy to spend (but luckily he’s frequently patrolling in his javelin now - crashing into trees/boulders/bodies of water and hunting outlaws is reasonably tiring even for him).

 3. Kay, what’s your grossest personal habit?

Well. Sometimes it’s just more convenient to get yourself killed and rezzed out in the field instead of, you know, showering, eating or investing in a change of clothes. Kay doesn’t own any kind of living space apart from his ship (and Cayde’s old flat but good luck getting Kay to actually set foot inside it) and he’s out and about most of the time so it’s just more practical to wait for a screeb to explode in your face instead of wasting time on self-care (and Kay’s not very big on self-care anyway holy shit when did life get this depressing for him lmao).

 4. Aleix, who are you most comfortable around?

It used to be Owen but look how that turned out. These days he mostly hangs around the Matthias’ place because he kind of feels like he’s known them their whole life so they probably know him best. Plus, they let him do his thing (which is falling asleep in chairs and on pillows/carpets a lot because beds are for freelancers who actually own money and didn’t grow up in a strider).

Sirrah, Arcweaver

Okay so I got a tonne of oc stuff lying around in my brain and I wanna get it out before I lose it so here's some info dumping.

Sirrah is a dreg belonging to house exile known for her amazing sharpshooting abilities. It is said that she was once seen take out a gaurdian by bending the shot of her wire rifle around a corner catching the gaurdian by surprise. This act garnered the name "Arcweaver". She self docks her arms whenever they grow back as a protest to the hierarchical system of most fallen houses in turn showing her aliegance to house exile. She is somewhat smaller than most dregs only being 5 foot tall but she uses her height to her advantage to be able to hide in small spaces while waiting for her target to appear.

Sirrah had a rough upbringing within house exile as her family lived in an area just beyond the hellmouth meaning her family would constantly have to fight off hive to survive. Her story truly begins when a fireteam of hunters scout out the area looking for weak points in the hellmouths entrance and stumble across their camp. The hunters immediately try to massacre the small exile village and all but slaughter the settlement until a strange titan gaurdian wearing tangled web armor donning the house of judgement banner on her titan mark appears standing in-between the hunters and Sirrah along with her older and younger brothers. While trying the deter the hunters Sirrahs older brother Traxor attempts to save the titan from the hunters for sticking up for them but is killed. Seeing her brother murdered in front of her Sirrah is in shock and unable to move.

The female titan fights off the hunters disabling them with void energy and taking Sirrah and her younger brother to her ship where she drops them off at another house exile settlement.

Sirrah lives in this settlement for some time living out her days working as an exile scout and sniper eventually building up her reputation as the Arcweaver. Unfortunately the arc weaver meets her end defending her settlement from an oncoming horde of xivu araths hive. After killing 100 of the hive single handedly she is taken out by a knight and dies on the moon.

After some time Sirrah wakes up in a Scorn base unaware of her surroundings, who she is or what she is. She has been ressurected as the first ever sentient Screeb. Having lost all her memories of her previous life Sirrah devotes her life to Fanicks the Mad Bomber who takes interest in Sirrah for being such an oddity amongst screeb and gifts her the name Korvusk. Korvusk then goes on to work directly under Fanicks as his personal bodyguard and head sniper.

This is very bare bones for this character but I'm really enjoying how it's turning out! I'll post more soon when I think stuff up :33

Reeee mentally preparing to write about my oc fallen house I'm really hyped to design some banners for it I needa write stuff but it means writing lore for my main oc nd that feels like a lot rn cuz I'm hyperfixating on my screeb oc we will get there one day!
