does monkey ever get called by her real name? like she gets in so much trouble her mums call her logan?
"I promise i won't cause any trouble," monkey had made the promise the moment that they arrived at campâhowever that promise didn't last longer than a few days before trouble broke out
leah, of course had snorted at the time and gave a sharp look, "that's funny, that's exactly what you said about the water balloon fiasco at training last week, wasn't it?"
"that wasn't me causin' trouble, i just though training just needed livining up a bit," monkey argued, arms crossed and all attitude, "besides, it made a great attempt at team bonding, mum!"
"oh really? because you launching a balloon at your mama was such a fantastic idea, menace," leah answered, deadpanned, as she rolled her suitcase into st george's park, "you're only here because i want you right where i can see you, and i'm not putting your mama through the stress of taking care of both you, and your baby sister."
monkey had beamed, "you know you love me, mum!"
"sure, i do love you, my girl, but i'd prefer it if you caused a bit less chaos here," leah grumbed, ruffling her hair, "i don't want you causin' any unnecessary trouble, alright?"
"umm... define unneccasry?" monkey grinned cheekily.
she never did get a proper response to that.
"the beds are so comfy, i'm gonna feel like i'm sleepin' on a cloud, mum!" monkey had made herself right at home, flopping down on the bed in the hotel room, "so, do i get my own room? or do i have to share?"
leah snorted, amused as she began to unpack her suitcase, "you really think i'd be that daft to let you have your own room? not a single chance there, my girl."
monkey had been attending england camps for years now, tagging along after moving in with leah and jordanâbut this would be her first proper experience of a tournament.
buddy was still too little to bring, and leah couldn't stomach the thought of leaving monkey at homeâespecially not with her history and her knack for getting into things that she shouldn't.
not to mention leah didn't want to leave jordan the stress of taking care of both girls, so here it was, 17 year old monkey, full of energy and very quick to make herself comfortable.
"nah, come on, seriously? why? that's not fair!" monkey groaned, dragging her hand over her face, "i'm not gonna be able to have no fun whatsoever if i'm stuck in the same hotel room as you, mum!"
leah however, didn't even bat an eyelid as she unpacked her suitcase, "and that's precisely why i have done it this way, monkey. i'm not stupid. i know exactly what you can be like at times."
monkey found her way to worm her way into georgia's pocket, keira's heart and lucy's tolerance. sarina hadn't stood a chance when monkey met her.
"are you the new coach 'ere? i'm monkey! i wanna play proffessional one day!" monkey spoke to sarina with a newfound confidence, "so, ya reckon you can get me on the squad?" the teenager gave the woman a proud grin with absolute cheek, "can i hug you? you look like you wanna be hugged? right? i like to hug people!"
sarina blinked in confused affection as monkey hugged her out of nowhere
"she's uh... she's mine," leah said in a flat tone of voice, "i apologise in advance..."
it didn't take long for monkey to find a way to get into troubleâeveryone was recovering in the pool after a tough training session.
monkey? she'd managed to find a giant inflatable unicorn, and she was in her element.
georgia and monkey were spashing each other like five-year-olds, both of them soaked, squealing and pretty vocalâand then that is when monkey's eyes lit up with that look.
a look that just screamed chaos.
monkey picked up the inflatable unicorn and walked towards leahâwho was sitting on the edge of the pool trying to relaxâand gave light thwack to the shoulder with it.
leah looked up slowly, "don't start."
monkey grinned in response, "start what?"
thwack.
"monkey," leah continued to firmly look at her teenage daughter, "stop it."
thwack.
leah exhaled a sigh, the frown not leaving her face, "you're really testing me today, my girl."
monkey grinned, feeling quite amused and happy with herself as she proceeded to hit leah with the inflatable unicorn.
"monkey, stop it. i won't tell you again!" leah exclaimed, very much not amused with the situation, "if i have to tell you again then you're going to be in trouble."
"oh i'm so scared," monkey responded, acting like the big 'un in front of the rest of the girls, "what're ya gonna do, mum?" she grinned, proud of herself.
"monkey, i wouldn't," keira tried to step in, sending the girl a look that meant for her to knock it off.
monkey of course didn't look one bit interested in listening today.
and thenâsplash.
that was it.
leah stood up, completely drenched, "logan!"
monkey's eyes went wide, but of course monkey wouldn't be her usual cheeky self if she didn't say anything like it, "logan? i don't know who the fuck logan is!"
"logan reece, get your arse over here. now!" leah reasied her voice, and if monkey didn't find the situation so funny then she might've been a tiny bit scared.
but today the teenager definitely wasn't phased.
the silence around them was instantâjill scott turned, eyes wide, "who the fuck is logan?"
keira, without missing a beat, suddenly turned on georgia, "georgia stanway. don't you dare."
monkey shrieked, spotting leah inching closer to her, "run!"
and they were off.
"i've done it now, what you gonna do?" monkey yelled behind her, a cheeky grin plastered on her face, "gonna catch me? i don't think so. i'm like a whippet!"
leah was already storming off in their direction.
"logan reece williamson-nobbs! get back here! now!" leah stormed after her eldest daughter with a face that looked like thunder, "don't make me start counting to threeâif i start counting and i get there then you're in serious trouble, young lady!"
"ooo young lady!" monkey taunted her, "you're never gonna see me again! i'm houdini! i just vanish, like poof! and i'm gone!"
meanwhile, elle toone was standing there, blinking, "wait, who the fuck actually is logan?"
beth mead started to laugh, "that's monkey's actual name."
"what?!" ella shrieked, not believeing it, "seriously?"
leah, from the distance, exasperated, "you actually thought my daughter was called monkey?"
"well... i mean... she did have... a father who favoured drugs and alcohol, right?" beth mumbled, instantly nudged in the ribs by lucy bronze, "ow, what was that forâit's true! he might've put that name on the birth certificate, eh?"
"no offence, but i geniunely thought monkey was, like... an abstract name," elle muttered, "it's kind of cool though, i guess."
"no, no, no.... leah gave her the nickname monkey when she met her because she's such a cheeky monkey," keira explained on her best friends behalf.
"and monkey hates her real name with a passion," lucy bronze added, "so, don't ever call her logan in front of her."
georgia of course knew st george's park like the back of her hand as she darted through side buildings and slipped out of sight.
but monkey? not so much.
monkey was full sprintâgrinning, breathless, chaos in full swingâwhen she made the fatal mistake.
the teenager turned a corner at full tilt, skidding across the floor with zero traction, and slammed directly into a human brick wall.
and not just any wall either.
mary earps.
monkey bounced off her like a cartoon character, landing flat on her backside with a groan as she blinked up at the england goalkeeper in complete dazed confusion.
mary raised a brow, cool as you like, "you alright down there, kid?"
monkey scrambled upright in a flash, wide-eyed and panicked, "quickâhide me!"
mary blinked, "hide you?" she repeated, confused.
"yes! please! i'm in danger she's comin' for meâyou have to hide me. she even said my full name, and you don't understand, like that is like, well serious business!" monkey ducked behind mary, clutching the back of her shirt as mary could magically erase her existence.
in the distance, leah could be heard shouting, "logan reece williamson-nobbs!"
mary whistled, impress, "geesh. full name and everythin' huh? you must have really messed up."
"exactlyâyou can hear the tone of her voice!" monkey hissed, "that means i'm either grounded, or worse... dead!"
and then, right on cue, leah came power-walking around the corner, eyes narrowing and her jaw tight, looking very much like a mum on a mission to kill.
mary barely contained a grin as she stepped slightly the side and casually held out her arm, revealing monkey like a magician pulling a rabit out of a hat, "i take it that she belongs to you?" she joked, with perfect comedic timing.
leah stopped dead, eyes locked on monkey as the teenager in return gave her a sheepish grin from her hiding spot behind mary and squeaked, "i'm innocent! i plead the fifth! you no have proof it was me!"
leah just gave her the look. one single look that made monkey want to shrink and hide, "you, young lady, are in a serious amount of trouble, right nowâmove it. now."
mary snorted, grabbing the back of monkey's t-shirt and gently hauled her forward, "she ran directly into me and asked me to hide her."
monkey looked at the older woman in betrayal, "traitor!" she muttered dramatically, "you're strong, but you are such a traitor. if i had muscles like yours, i'd be all over you."
mary grinned, smug as ever, "alright, sure, come back to me when you've grown, short-ass."
"excuse me? i'm not short!" monkey's jaw dropped, hands on her hips, "i'm fun-sized! you wanna go? go on then! i will fight you!"
"okay," mary chuckled, arms crossed, "square up then, smurf!"
"show me what you've got!" monkey raised her fists like she was about to take on the words, legs bouncing, a cheeky grin splitting across her face, "you better be scared... mazza! i'm scrappy! proper street rat energy, me!"
mary didn't even flinch, "you're five foot nothing, wearing a oversized shirt with shrek on it, and bouncing around like a toddler on a sugar high. the only thing i'm scared of is accidentally stepping on you."
monkey huffed, all bark and zero bite, puffing up her chest like she was about to throw hands with england number one, and mary didn't even flinch, just raised a brow and gave the world's most unimpressed look.
leah, however, had more than enough.
"logan. reece. williamson-nobbs," leah snapped, pulling the full name card again like it was a weapon, "you so much as blink wrong and you'll be sitting in timeout until the next euros. move. now."
monkey sighed dramatically, like she was being asked to climb everest barefoot, "this isn't fair! i'm innocent! this isâ"
"this is you not shutting your mouth and marchingâgo, now!" leah cut in, grabbing monkey by the scruff of her shirt and dragging her off down the corridor, ignoring monkey's loud complaints.
"this isn't fair! help! i'm bein' kidnapped by my own mumâi'm innocent, you 'ave no proof it was me who dunnit!" monkey wailed like a complete banshee, "help! help! heeeeeelp!"
mary was still laughing when they turned the corner, shaking her head and muttering, "that kids' gonna end up giving her grey hairs, i swear."
keira wandered by a second later, sipping a smoothie like she hadn't just witnessed the chaos unfold ten minutes prior, "did i miss anythin'?"
mary snorted, "only the shrimp deciding to try and take me on in a fight."
keira didn't even blink, "did she lose?"
"well i mean she ran into me and fell over, so technically, yes," mary grinned.
"this isn't fair! this is outrageous!" back in their room, leah was pacing as monkey sat cross-legged on the back in her makeshift timeout spot as she tried to fool leah with her best innocent face, "i didn't do nuffin'!"
"i'm not even mad about the pool anymore," leah muttered, more to herself, "it's the running. the taunting. the backchat. what were you thinking?"
"it thought it would be funny though," monkey replied honestly, offering a hopeful smile, "you looked a bit too dry, and bored. i thought about spicing things up."
leah gave her that familiar look, "you are grounded, you know."
"yeah.... but define grounded?" monkey tried again, with her ever-trusty cheeky grin, "cos' y'know, that could mean a lot of things..."
"grounded, monkey, full-on grounded as in no pool, no fun, and you're sticking with me. you don't even think about leaving my side. understand?"
monkey gasped and clutched her heart in absolute horror, "that's... that's not fair! that's completely outrageous! so, so cruel!"
leah crossed her arms, unphased in the slighest bit, "oh yeah? good. maybe you'll think twice about causing any more chaos this tournament! you even think about pulling something like that again and you will not be setting foot out of the room, the whole time!"
monkey looked at her in shock, "what? you mean you're not gonna send me back home to mama in london?"
this time it was leah's turn to snort in amusent, "oh my girl, do you really think i'd put your mama through that? nice try, sweetheart. you're staying here with me the whole time, you're not getting off that easily."
"it wasn't me fault," monkey protested, huffing in defeat, "i'm innocent... it was the unicorns fault!"

Monkey has a little bump now? đĽš
Oh I bet Leah's eyes widened when she saw that because it's one thing to know someone's pregnant but to physically see is a whole other thing
She's all '...you're pregnant...' and Monkey giving her looks like 'tf, yeah I know?? You've seen the ultrasound, you've seem me throwing u-what is wrong with you right now?!' Because she somehow hasn't noticed, give her a break she's been barely functioning until now okay?
Leah now makes sure Jordan gets that surprise too because their girl has a baby bump and holy shit, they actually have a pregnant daughter!
Yes!! Monkeys little bump has finally popped, and Leah is absolutely shocked when she actually sees it.
Sheâs been so caught up in helping Monkey with her morning sickness, making sure that sheâs still eat and drinking, and just generally functioning that she still hasnât somehow really fully processed that Monkey actually is showing now
Cue Leah walking into the living room, seeing Monkey lounging in a hoodie thatâs just tight enough to show it, and stopping dead in her tracks. Sheâs just stood there with wide eyes, and mouth slightly open
âYou⌠Youâre pregnant,â
Monkey just staring back at her, looking at Leah slightly concerned like âDuh. Yeah, no shit,â vaguely gesturing to herself, âYouâve been to the ultrasound appointmentsâYou literally held my hair back while I was throwing up. Why is this new information?â
However, Leah swears this is different, seeing it with her eyes. The bump makes it a whole lot more real like it wasnât before, and she is now phoning Jordan up to get her to experience the same holy shit moment for herself.
Leah waits patiently (not at all) until Jordan comes round, all but practically dragging her into the kitchen where Monkey is making a cheese sandwich and pointing at her like âLook, Monkeys pregnant.â
Jordanâs reaction is priceless, and exactly what Leah had hoped for.
âOh⌠Oh my God. Youâre really, itâs true⌠You are pregnant,â Jordan is stumbled for words, locking her eyes on Monkeys bump, âYou⌠Youâholy shit.â
Monkey is just sighing dramatically, âOh god, not you as well. Yes, Iâm pregnant. Itâs obvious now. Why is everyone acting like this is sudden big news today?â
Monkey isnât phased. Leah and Jordan are stuck in a loop of realisation, pointing at Monkeys stomach and muttering to themselves.
âThatâs our grandchild in there.â
âHoly shit, weâre going to be grandparents.â
And Buddy? Sheâs convinced that Monkey is just getting fat and in her words âStop eatinâ all the buscuits.â

When does monkey tell they fans about rugrat
Monkey is completely secretive about her pregnancyâthereâs no announcement from her, no cryptic Instagram post, itâs just silence on social media
Arsenal put out a very vague statement about Monkey being sidelined with an injury, and considering how accident-prone she is, the fans are completely fooled to believe it
Monkey makes her comeback from injury and everyone is so hyped to see her back on the pitch. She has definitely been missed, and her touch on the ball is magical and of course she makes her return in her own limited pair of Shrekkers @wosov made that are sick!
The final whistle blows and itâs a victory for Arsenal, and the crowd is wild!
And then, Monkey so casually jogs over to where her family is, everyone just assumes Monkey exchanging emotional words with them allâuntil she plucks this tiny little baby from her Nanaâs arms, leaving everyone gobsmacked
The entire stadium erupts. Fans are screaming, and the commentators are losing their mindâeven Alex Scott whoâs there on the commentary is dumbfounded, shocked to believe that her niece, the small scrawny 12 year old girl she once met is now a mum
âOh my Godâ What the hell?â
Alex is so shocked that even her best friend kept it from her, and is just so stunned for words, the moment being caught live on TV
Monkey is completely unfazed, adjusting Rugrat on her hip and casually walking back onto the pitch like she hasnât just dropped the biggest bombshell.
âWell, Rugrat, this is the Emirates. Pretty neat place, ainât it? When your old enough to understand, youâll be able to watch me play hereâand you can even be a mascot!â
Casually yapping to Rugrat in her arms like the little one understands every single word Monkey is telling her
Then to make the fans around her freak out more, Monkey wonders over to Leah, handing Rugrat over to herâLeah is more than happy to cradle her granddaughter close to her, pressing a soft kiss to Rugratâs tiny forehead
âYou just had to make a moment of it, didnât you?â
âDuh, of course. This is me, innit?â
But Monkey isnât done, because is true menace fashion, she grabs Buddy, lifts her up and then proceeds to dangle her upside down
âAgh, MonksââPut me down! Put me down!â
Buddy is giggling and squealing so much, but she loves being the centre of attentionâand Monkey canât resist Iâm spinning her around, sharing the moment with her little sister and completely oblivious of the football world currently having a collective meltdown.
Social media explodes. Fans are going crazy.
âSHE HAD A WHOLE BABY AND DIDNâT TELL US???â
âMONKEY REALLY SAID âSURPRISE MFSâ AND WALKED OFFâ
âLEAH WILLIAMSON IS HOLDING A BABY. I AM HAVING A STROKE.â
And Arsenalâs PR team? Theyâre in absolute shambles. They now need to figure out a way to control the narrative.
But of course, Monkey never does anything easy.

How soon do Jordan and Leah realise that monkey is drinking as a coping mechanism? Does she hide it from them to begin with?
neither of them notice straight awayâmonkey is very clever to hide it, and get away with it
after rugrats birth, monkey is feeling about 5 different kids of emotionsâshe feels like her body isnât her own, sheâs exhausted, her hormones are wild, and she doesnât want anything to do with rugrat at all
that in itself is something that leah and jordan do happen to notice quickly, and leah clocks the postnatal depression within the first couple of weeks, but not the drinking
monkey definitely hides it at firstâsheâs ashamed, but also desperate. she begins with a small amount, just enough to numb the panic, guilt and the crushing sense that sheâs failed before she even started. she hide the miniature bottles of alcohol in her room, starts to add vodka to her juice, and stealing sips from bottles in the kitchen when no oneâs around. she drinks when rugrat cries and she canât take it, she drinks when everyone else is asleep in the house, and she drinks when sheâs trying to sleep but canât stop hearing the phantom cries in her head
it takes leah and jordan a few weeks to realiseâthereâs so much going on with sleepless nights, buddy throwing tantrums because she wants attention and monkey shutting down emotianlly
monkeys irritability is chalked up to depression, and the sick spells get blamed on either stress or hormone crashes.
but one day she slips up,
âleah finds a bottle in the laundry basket, hidden under monkeys clothes
âmonkey slurs something while she is supposed to be looking after rugrat, and leah panics
âjordan pops round one afternoon and smells alcohol on monkey when she goes to give her a hug
the truth lands like a gut-punch, and leah is heartbroken and furiousânot because sheâs angry at monkey, but because she is scared
immediately she jumps to the worse case scenario, âyouâve been drinking? what⌠why? you canât be drinking while taking of your daughter, monkey!â
monkey of course just curls in on herself, overwhelmed and defensive, because sheâs afraid of the confrontationâshe just wants the pain to stop
jordan, takes the calmer route, kneeling beside her and asking the hard questions, âwhatâs going on, little one? talk to us, monkey. let us know whatâs going on inside your headâ
and monkey? still half drunk and trembling, finally admits the truth, âbecause i donât want her! i donât⌠i regret keepinâ her. i donât want her! and i donât want to feel like either!â
thatâs the moment that everything shiftsâboth of them are in pure shock and devestation, considering how much of a struggle it had been from loosing their baby boy, and buddys difficult birth, and monkey just openly admits that she doesnât want her own baby

any ideas on the jordan's mothers day?
so monkey and buddy spent the afternoon and evening of monthers day with jordan and erin, and it was chaotic as always
sorry for the delay of response, was trying to finish pt. 10 of monkey's past, and figure out how i wanted this one to go
"be good," leah said, her voice laced with cautious optimism as she hugged both girls tightly. after spending the first half of the day with themâit was now jordan's turn to spend time with buddy and monkey.
"please, mum," monkey replied with a sweet, innocent look that didn't quite reach her eyes, "i'm always good."
leah raised a skeptical eyebrow, "mhm, sure, that's why you spent the morning sitting in timeout like you used to do when you were twelve, right?"
"mummmmmmmmm" monkey groaned, clearly embarrassed.
leah couldn't help but smirk, "monkey, my girl, you're acting like your mama hasn't seen it before. need i remind you, she's been there to witness your... feral cat behaviour too."
"been there, and got the t-shirt to prove it," jordan chimed in, grinning.
monkey shot both of them a glare, her face was flushed, "ugh, stop it! you're both so annoyin' sometimes!"
leah ruffled her hair, undettered, "have fun, and try not to get yourself into too much trouble," she began to leave before spinning back round to face jordan with a warning look, "oh, and if she tries to blag her way out of being here, don't fall for it. she's grounded. again."
"again?" jordan mumbled in disbelief.
"you throw one little ball through the window and suddenly everyone is up in arms," monkey huffed, flopping back to sit on the sofa, "i don't want to be here. me and kyra had plans."
"well think again, madam. you should've thought about that before you booted a ball through my window," leah told her, ruffling her hair, "good luck, and remember, no goin' out with kyra either. i'll see you at the game on friday!"
"yeah, yeah, captain of the fun police strikes again," monkey mumbled, huffing aloud before turning her attention to her phone, "at least mama might actually let me do something thrilling while i'm here."
with a final kiss to buddy's cheek and a wink to jordan, leah left monkey and buddy in jordan's capable hands.
jordan clapped her hands, "right, erin will be here in a bit and then we can do something fun the four of us, can't we?"
"and blu as well, mama!" buddy insisted.
"of course, yes, and blu!" jordan grinned at her youngest daughter.
monkey groaned, "why does she have to come? why can't it just be the three of us?"
"and blu, monks'!" buddy corrected, hands on her hips.
"yeah, yeah, whatever, and blu as well," monkey muttered, rolling her eyes.
"becuase erin is my girlfriend, monkey, and i thought it would be nice for us all to spend some time together," jordan explained, a gentle tone of voice.
"whatever, what do i care?" monkey sulked, "but she's not replacing, mum though!"
jordan gave her a knowing look, "i wouldn't dream of ever letting that happen, little one. leah is your mum, nobody is ever going to take her plac."
"sure, whatever," monkey wasn't entirely convinced.
the tension was broke by a knock at the door.
"oh, that'll be her now," jordan noted, grinning, "i'll go and let her in,"
"fan-fucking-tastic," monkey mumbled under her breath.
"oi, watch the language around buddy, monkey!" jordan snapped, pointing at buddy, who was now covering her ears in mock horror.
"pretty sure she's heard worse before," monkey muttered, crossing her arms over her chest, "can i just go and sit in my room?"
"monks' 'ou p'ay wif me!" buddy pleaded, holding out her arms.
"i'm not in the mood, bud. no offence, but i'm not in the mood to play happy families tonight," monkey replied, dragging her feet down the hallway.
"monks'! come 'ere," buddy's calling her sister back was a useless attempt, as monkey sulked off into her bedroom.
sure, her room wasn't quite as perfect like the one at leah's, but it was cosy, and jordan had even painted the walls greenâmonkey's request for her 'Shrek vibe' so it helped. a bit.
jordan exhaled a sigh, rubbing her forehead, "right, little 'un, stay here while i let erin in. we'll find something fun to do in a bit, yeah?"
"you got it, dude!" buddy stuck her thumb up with all the confidence of a mini olsen twin, and jordan couldn't help but laugh.
unforuntately, monkey dind't stay in her room for long. choas was never more than ten minutes away.
at some pointâunnoticed by the adultsâmonkey wandered out onto the fire escape at the back of the flat. it had one of them dodgy drop-down ladders, and naturally, she decided it needed investigating.
and naturally... she got stuck.
not just stuckâdangling, mid-climb, one leg through a rung and the other flailing in thin air. it didn't take long before buddy spotted her out of the window and started screaming.
"look, mama, monks' is bein' silly out der!" buddy squealed, look, look!"
jordan turned to look where buddy was pointing, "what?âoh my god, monkey!" she shrieked, rushing to grab hold of her phone to phone the emergency services.
"oh my god," erin gasped in shock-horror, turning to see what exactly buddy was pointing at, "jord, do something!"
"monks' is danglin' upside down, mama!" buddy giggled, finding it hilarious to watch her big sister in such a funny position, "monks' is funny!"
there was a knock at the door a few moments later, and jordan answered it, still on the phone to the emergency services. only to open it, mid-panic and be face to face with a tall firefighter, "wow, that was quick, i didn't even get through yet," she spoke aloud, not thinking about what she was saying.
"excuse me miss, we got a call from this address?" said firefighter explained, "something about being stuck on a fire escape ladder?"
jordan blinked, "please, it's my daughter... and i apologise in advance," before leading the fireman out to where monkey wasâstuck, dangling from the rail, "monkey. what an earth were you thinking?" she asked, exasperated.
"I... I just wanted to be like fireman sam!" monkey wailed, in a clear panic over the situation, "he's the hero next door, mama!"
"... uh, what?" one of the firefighter's questioned.
"don't ask. she's... she's different than regular teenagers," jordan facepalmed, "oh for the love of... just wait until your mum hears about this, she'll have a field day."
"no, no, you can't tell her. i'll be grounded for like, for like forever, mama!" monkey protested against the idea, all while the firefighters worked to get her down.
once safely back down on solid ground, monkey was entirely unfazed about the situation.
"can i sit in the fire engine? ooh! can i wear a helmet? oo! oo! can i beep the horn?"
"umm," a firefigher looked at her questionably.
"nee-naw, nee-naw!" monkey yelled, running around in circles like a siren, before proceeding to make her way towards the shiny red, fire engine, "woah, it's so big, and shiny, and redâlike arsenal? cos' that is red, too!"
"monkey!" jordan barked, hands on her hips, "get downâget... don't even attempt to climb that damn fire engine! monkey, get out!" her words were left unheard, as monkey climbed inside the engine, finding a helmet on the seat, way too big for her head, "get out. now!"
"awh shucks!" monkey groaned, throwing her head back in exasperation, "you said we were doing something thrilling!"
jordan just shook her head, already pulling out her phone.
she hit call.
"leah? yeah, she's only gone and done it again."
