my toxic writing habit is writing very simple sentences to jot my thoughts down quickly so I can go back and add onto it later and then never adding onto it later so some of my paragraphs are super out of place and numbingly simple

After nearly a year of hating every story that I write, hoping that if I just write the next one I'll find my love of writing again, I found my love of writing in scripting

They're not that good considering I started scripting this year, but it's so fun. It's a new medium for me, forcing me to actually take time to figure out how to make it good (not that traditional writing doesn't do that). There's a thousand possibilities and I'll find them all

I just wanted to let everyone over here know that development on the script is still going on! I hope to have draft two finished some time by the end of this year, perhaps in November even.

But, that can only happen with the support and creativity from someone like you! That’s right, script writer auditions are still open and always will be, until said script is finished! So if that sounds fun to you, then head on over to the Discord Server to audition!

I fully agree with OP.

I am also so very glad to be able to offer some evidence to the contrary: the Word of Honor series adapted by Xiao Chu. The WoH fans were lucky she was the scriptwriter for the series ♥️♥️♥️♥️ and had Ma as the producer ♥️♥️♥️♥️ as both ladies knew the source material very well and understood the characters and their motivations.

can we like, have adaptations made by people who care about the thing they're adapting
