Hello??? Yeah we knew Stoney was at a funeral overseas when she got the call she was fired but it never occurred to me the fallout regarding her and her family's life.

“Your job is tied into your visa, it terminated all of our visas with immediate effect, and we were stuck in the UK without a home,” Stoney tells The Times.

This is disgusting behavior by San Diego. Yeah, the game is a business, but firing and stranding an entire family -- mind you, a family that was already mourning the loss of someone -- is beyond cruel and heartless. When someone sacrifices their home life and uproots their entire family to become your coach, you have an obligation not to treat them like trash, even if you decide to move on from their direction.

Glad Ellis is gone, but SD as a whole should have done better for Stoney and her family.
