Alaska RR 4328 (SD70MAC) with the northbound Coastal Classic on August 22, 2009. The train makes a daily round trip from Anchorage to Seward and return from mid-May to mid-September.

9:47 pm south of Potter, AK. That's the Turnagain Arm of Cooks Inlet.

Yes, it's almost 10 pm and the train was at track speed and I had that much light.

Scott Sub, Kansas City, Missouri. From BN’s last order for new locomotives, (350 units numbered 9400-9749, all SD70MAC’s) before the BNSF merger, 9444 was built in April, 1994.

Metra announced that they'll be purchasing 15 SD70MACHs from Progress Rail. Originally SD70MACs, they'll earn their H once they've been upgraded and configured for passenger use.
