I don't really post much outside of Nomin over at @paintedscales and Prim here, but there are some OCs of mine that have leaked through the cracks. Like the person who tagged me, I offer some brief snippets under the poll's read more about them to give an idea of them. :>

Jaydin Byrd :: Pokémon (originally); multi-purpose OC at this point

Roguish with a bit of a sassy tongue to boot, Jaydin places value in giving to those around her instead of being complacent in a world of squalor. For her, laws are optional, especially if the laws only benefit those in power. She cares deeply for those she would call family, wanting nothing more but a safe haven for those who would be called craven misfits and freaks...

Manaka Shimizu :: Original Setting (Spirits)

Hailing from a long line of kannushi and miko, Manaka is one who channels spirits and speaks with the yokai of her world. In an attempt to practice magic beyond her, however, she ended up bonding herself to a karasutengu who feeds off of the energies of joy and happiness, leaving her feeling more of the negative feelings than not. She has been on a journey, claiming herself as an aruki miko as she searches for any answers to break her bond.

Valian "Vale" Azmus :: Original Setting (Ryne)

A traveler versed in the art of the sword, Valian really just journeys for the sake of journeying. He then pledges himself as a companion to a mysterious figure, helping her to find the answers she seeks so desperately. In this venture, Vale learns more about his past and his ancestry, which explains the various feats of magic and strength that he had always been able to command.

Primam Chorus :: FFXV

Born to the noble House Chorus, Primam grew up alongside Prince Noctis and the others that were to become the future of Insomnia -- the future Lucian Council. A prodigy in the art of magic, Primam has a penchant for ice magic, able to cast strong Blizzard spells when needed. Generally soft spoken and kind, Primam tends not to want to cause conflict because of her trauma at home already.

The Warrior of Light who was originally born to the tribe of Tumet. Overcoming her trial, Nomin was soon taken in by the Sagahl shortly after she declared her name. Initially reluctant to bear the title of 'Adventurer', let alone 'Warrior of Light', Nomin sees her achievements and accomplishments with a sense of pride that needed to be fostered and nurtured into what it is now. Venturing forward with a sense of closure and greater acceptance of self, Nomin is happy to finally have a sense of peace and quiet, not to mention is more than happy to explore her relationship with the person she's come to love.

" the male chuckled softly, the tension in the room easing just a bit. he didn't exactly hate cooper, secretly, he respected him for the way he had stepped up when their mother hadn't. the two just saw the world differently, and it didn't help that he wasn't always kind to his favorite person either. "oh man, where do i even start?" he leans back in his chair, a playful glint in his eyes as he attempts to run through the highlights of the past five years. "let’s see… the world went wild with reality tv, and somehow everyone started caring way too much about influencers. i mean, you’ll need to brace yourself for that. also, they finally made a cloverfield sequel, which… let's just say it doesn’t hold a candle to the original. but the real tragedy? they stopped making your favorite flavor of oreos. i think it was the cinnamon bun one or something.” he shakes his head with playful dismay, and the familiar camaraderie they used to share begins to seep back into their conversation. missed this more than words can say. "but seriously, aside from the absurdity, it’s like the whole town got a facelift," he continues, "a lot of places closed down, but there are a few new spots that are pretty good. there’s this little café down on maple that does a mean avocado toast—totally worth it."

“ yeah? if you speak to her tell her i say hi. you should invite her round if she wants to talk shit about my brother for a while, might make her feel better. ” he only half jokes, the pool of guilt in his own chest not exactly going anywhere when he can't begin to imagine how norah feels. it isn't the same as if nate had gotten engaged, an entirely different relationship existing between the two — yet there's still a part of ashton that's sure it would have killed him to come back and learn the most important person in his life had built their own life with someone else. “ i'm still sorry. ” the words fall gently, features unable to help softening at the candour that laces the other male's words. “ unfortunately for you i'm not that easy to get rid of though, you might be stuck with me for a long time. five years of freedom was it. ” he jokes in a weak attempt to ignore the real weight of the situation and what they've both gone through. “ anyway, now you've got to catch me up on everything i missed, not all the political shit but like the good films, or new oreo flavours, or what places around here are even still open. ” there's a small part of all the ways the world has changed that's almost overwhelming, the stability of a room in nate's place at least enough to make it feel bearable to try and catch up with.

also i may have forgot his pearl and whiskers uhhh just pretend he left the pearl inside and he burnt his whiskers off when he leaned over the fire one time (again... he is not operating a safe business by any means)

steely blues glance down at her hand brushing against his, the smallest gesture enough to make his resolve falter. she’s always been like this, finding ways to reassure him, to lighten the moment, even when he’s the one who’s supposed to be looking out for her. " you know i never say no to your cookies, " he points out with a soft chuckle. his free palm moves almost instinctively, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face before he catches himself and pulls back. " i know you say you're okay, but … " there's a hint of hesitation in his tone, but he pushes through. " i don’t just worry because i have to. i worry because i care. maybe too much sometimes, but that’s just how it is with you. i can't help it. "

"well, you know i'm going to find a way to thank you. if i can't say it, i suppose i'll have to bake you another batch of cookies." a smile pulls at the corner of her lips until it reaches her eyes that twinkle. this man always looks out for her, always making sure she is safe and happy at the same time. it's one thing having an older brother who protects her at all costs, but having milo is a bonus she prefers. "i really am okay." reassuring him while still holding the ice pack against his cheek, delicate fingers of her other hand reach out and find his, only brushing against the back of his hand. "you don't have to worry so much. i'm all better now. your cheek, however, is not all better." a giggle escapes full lips that she forces into a pout. "your poor face. i think you deal with this more off the ice than on."

i remember discussing with people last series that there was a heavy implication in a line / scene that the doctor hadn't actually had their daughter / kid yet... but i don't remember which episode / line it was anymore klsdfjd but i do remember the discussion

in light of the timeless children reveal, is it possible the infinite regenerations carried on to susan? would they carry on to jenny?? WOULD THEY CARRY ON TO DONNA AND ROSE NOBLE????

i thought the rani knew about that but it doesn't seem like she knows (maybe she wasn't in gallifrey went the master went Off). but omega has to know for sure. right?? i feel omega and rassillon would have to know to fund time lord society.

slender fingers tighten around the edge of the table as markus speaks, her mind races, but she forces herself to focus on his words. she'd have to check on cal later, makes a mental note to do so after dinner. " do we know that ? it's not that simple, markus, " the blonde points out with a shake of her head. " derek's her husband, they were married for years. " she'd been at their wedding, witnessed the love they once shared, the way derek had looked at cal like she was the only person in the world. that love, no matter how imperfect it was, had always been real. " she deserves to be happy, though. and if nate's who makes her happy, then yeah, but it's her choice. " she reminds him, glancing down at her hands for a second.

"they'd just left her with him when i ran into our gate guard." his relationship with cassie might have been short lived, but the man couldn't help but thank his lucky stars that he hadn't been put into the situation that the others now were facing. "just as a forewarning, i'm throwing myself behind supporting cal's relationship with nathan. i'm sure her ex was a decent enough guy, but that relationships in the past. you and i both know that she's better of with nate."
