I think for the indigo disk DLC I’m gonna switch my team up a bit, since most of my main members are nearing level 100. I’ll take the opportunity to use some Pokémon and types I wouldn’t use normally.

Although not bringer my starter just feels… Wrong? Somehow? Idk I’ll make myself a little self-imposed challenge.

One day late due to a random virus that very kindly left me rotting in bed with a fever and a barely functioning throat, but I'm up on my feet again and I'm going to try my best at my self imposed writing challenge! I haven't found many challenges that caught my eye so I went with a post I previously reblogged, basically a bunch of prompts, one per day til the month ends. I'm going to try and write as many as possible and see how it goes, I've never tried anything like this so I have no idea how long I'll last, but my only rules are to:

A) have fun, if I'm not enjoying it I'll stop

B) write at least 1k words per day

Having said that... I'm gonna drop the first day (that was supposed to be yesterday) and start the challenge!

thinking about how in chapter four we really truly have a close trusted ally for, like… the first time.

in chapter one we have lancer, sure, but he’s understandably conflicted between us and the King. we have fun with him and he has fun with us, but when it boils down to it he’s just a kid who doesn’t want us to hurt his father and who possesses no real power to help us. in chapter two there’s noelle and berdly, but even if especially noelle wants to be on our side, there’s always the overhanging threat of Queen that makes it a rather… uneasy? allyship. it’s shaky, you don’t know how long it’ll last; it’s more like occasional solace. (speaking for the normal route here, obviously. snowgrave is Different ! ) in chapter three there’s not really much of anyone at all? most background characters support us over tenna, we make friends with side characters, ramb’s letting kris into the backrooms to do weird shit, but there’s no one really at our side.

and then in chapter 4, we have someone not only on our side, but someone actively supporting us—holding us up, being there for us when we need it most, mentoring us even. in the without question darkest chapter to date, we also have our strongest ally yet, and our in my eyes safest-feeling safe zone in the study (the green room and the areas near stores in ch 1&2 just… don’t compare).

{FIRST KISS}

By pretty much any standard, Zoro and Sanji’s first kiss is terrible. In fact, it isn’t so much a kiss as it is a clash of their mouths against each other; just a new avenue of the fight that was already happening between them. There’s no finesse or softness to speak of; only spit-slick tongues and sharp, angry teeth. Sanji is unsurprised to find that Zoro’s mouth is as mean as the rest of him, and when he manages to pierce Sanji’s bottom lip with one of his canines, the taste of blood is what finally makes him pull away.

For days after, Sanji tries his best not to think about his awful lapse in judgement, telling—no, promising himself that it will never happen again. But the puncture mark on his lip remains; an aching reminder that Sanji can’t help poking at, even when he knows he shouldn’t. Every time, it stings something fierce. Every time, he tastes blood on his tongue again. Every time, he remembers how it felt to have Zoro’s mouth pressed against his own, how sharp and mean it was. 

And warm. So very, very warm.

It isn’t supposed to happen again. But much like the lingering wound on his lip, Sanji finds that he just can’t leave the memory alone.

Back on style challenge, this one a comics-y style.

Digging around through a sprite and texture resource site, I saw a sheet of fictional company logos. So let's play "can guess their functions with only knowledge of TWO companies (Rose's and Bird Taxi)".

Like... Christ that's a lot of companies for... endorsements? (Also I'm realizing just how many companies Rose has... I knew it'd be rough when I heard that Galar Steven Stone runs the local Pokemon League but what.)

I was gonna post this and then the answers tomorrow but here's everything. Answers below the cut.

I'm grading myself with full points if I'm on the money, half points if I'm in the right area, no points if I'm completely wrong. X out of 60.

Full Points: 34. Partial Credit: 6. Wrong Answers: 20.

Results: 37/60. Not bad, not great. Could be a lot better but shows designs are surprisingly solid to grok what many of them are at a glance.
