Hello, anon!!!

1. Azula is born blind. No one knows why but she is. Ursa tries to argue that Azula will be a strong child and capable of bending to her full capacity but Ozai doesn’t believe her. Azula is still a strong bender but Ozai thinks that her blindness will keep her from being a real firebender. Ursa, desperately trying to keep her baby alive, gives her away in the hopes that someone else can protect her. Azula is bounced around for a while until she ends up in the South Pole and found by Kya and Hakoda, who take the infant in and decide to raise her.

2. Azula never let her blindness stop her from playing, doing chores or fighting with Sokka. She and him would constantly run around the village, chasing each other with snowballs, and try to out do each other in different chores. Hakoda tries to go easy on the girl when it comes to fishing or carving, etc but Azula doesn’t like it and demands to be treated the same as Sokka and Katara. By the time she’s six, Hakoda gave up on trying to go easy on Azula and gives her the same tasks as the other kids. Kya, for her part, never treated the kids differently except to tell Azula that she wasn’t from the Water Tribe. Since she can’t see, Azula would have no way of knowing Kya isn’t her mother but Kya makes it clear to Azula very early on that she isn’t and her real mother is probably in the Earth Kingdom somewhere (this isn’t done in a malicious way more-so in a way so that Azula knows the truth). Azula also learns to see by “seeing” heat. She can basically see heat sources and therefore knows when people are around her.

3. When Kya is killed, Azula swears off firebending. Mother or not, Azula loved Kya and her death really hits her hard. No matter what Hakoda says, Azula refuses to bend. She keeps that promise for years afterwards even when they find Aang, Azula introduces herself as a nonbender. She even refuses to teach Aang any firebending for a while because she’s dedicated herself to not bending (Actually turns out to be a blessing because Ozai doesn’t identify her as Azula until after the North Pole siege). Speaking of, Azula sees Sokka in trouble during the siege and uses her bending to protect him. (Azula: Sokka?! Are you okay?! Sokka: I’m okay. I’m okay. You…you firebent. Azula: I guess I did. Sokka: To help me. Azula: Oh, no. Sokka: You like me! Azula: No! No, I don’t! Sokka: Azula likes me! Azula likes me! Azula: Hey! Is there any other soldier who wants to kill him for me?!!)

4. Ozai changes Zuko’s mission to instead capturing Azula and the Avatar and gives him Mai and Ty Lee as support. Azula is now using her bending so it’s a bit easier to track her (a blind firebender has got to attract some attention) but they can’t capture her. And, since Azula left the palace when she was a baby, she has no idea who Mai and Ty Lee are and she and Zuko don’t know they’re related. (Of course Ozai twists the story when he tells Zuko and says Azula was stolen from them by the Water Tribe which is why he needs to get her back). Throughout this, the Gaang really doesn’t know any of that and instead are focused on finding Aang an earthbending teacher: enter Toph. Toph and Azula would make every blind joke known to man and are constantly helping each other out with little tricks. (Sokka: Spirits, there’s two of them). Just a Toph & Azula friendship. (Toph: So, anything you want to tell me. Azula: About what? Toph: About you and Snoozles? Azula: What-are you-no. No, there’s nothing to say. Toph: Really? Because if I didn’t know any better I’d say you have a massive crush on him. Azula: I do not! Toph: And you’re heartbeat increasing when you hear him voice, constantly going to his side, sitting right next to him at dinner and holding onto him when you can’t see is all…Azula: Shut up)

5. In BSS, Azula joins Zuko’s side (let me explain) and returns to the Fire Nation with him. She never mastered lightning but the Dai Li does being down a cave on Aang and Katara, believing them dead. The siblings, Mai and Ty Lee return to the Fire Nation and declare the Avatar and his friend dead. Unknown to them, but known to Azula, Toph was right behind them and kept them from being crushed. The Gaang now is able to travel with everyone thinking they’re dead and having Azula as a secret double agent (something Sokka isn’t too fond of but it was his and Azula’s idea). They’re reunited during the DOBS, a time when Zuko tries to tell Azula what Ozai told him and Hakoda, who is there, tells Zuko that some fishermen found Azula and dropped her off in the South Pole—they didn’t steal her—and he pokes a few holes in Ozai’s lie, but Zuko doesn’t want to doubt his father (since he spent most of his time under Ozai’s thumb and all). The invasion force is still captured, while the Gaang escape to the Western Air Temple, with Hakoda eventually being sent to the Boiling Rock. However, this time, he comes across a woman with a very familiar face who introduces herself as Ursa.

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction? it started with me being a dedicated reader on wattpad and tumblr, falling into so many different stories and getting swept away by them. i was on Tumblr for about a year, just as a reader, but then i stumbled upon the writings of @ellecdc and @moonstruckme. their stories were crafted with so much heart and creativity that i couldn’t resist giving it a try myself. they made it look like magic, and that’s when i felt like maybe t could create some magic of my own too.

🍄 ⇢ share a headcanon for one of your favorite ships or pairings: i have this headcanon for wolfstar that hits me right in the heart. remus has these restless nights sometimes—nights when the world feels too heavy, and he’s caught in his own thoughts, even if he doesn’t say it. sirius always seems to know, though, and without a word, he’ll reach over and tangle their fingers together, giving remus’s hand the gentlest squeeze. it's a simple gesture, but it’s like sirius telling him, “i’m here; you’re not alone.” and now i just made myself cry and smile like a crazy person 😔

❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best? i’ve always dreamed of a series where the reader is a bakery owner and roommates with doctor!remus, teacher!james, and chef!sirius. each marauders-era character would have a different job, and the series would just follow their chaotic, loving lives with plenty of humor, banter, and maybe even a little angst. ideally, i’d have to write it myself (or collab with someone!), but if i were to choose someone else, i’d definitely go to you, @ellecdc, or @lupinsweater—because you three are basically AU royalty!

🦋 ⇢ share something that's been on your heart and mind lately: okay, this might get a little sad, so heads up. lately, I’ve been feeling insecure and just… not good about myself. i posted a rant about it recently, but it’s been on my mind a lot. i keep catching myself wondering if I’ll ever feel truly pretty or beautiful. some comments from my friends (who i love dearly) made me realize that, as much as i adore romance and the idea of love, maybe i'm just a hopeless romantic who might never get to experience the kind of love I dream about. i hate to ramble like this, but it's been weighing on me a bit. sorry for unloading it here, and thanks for listening.

So many beautiful possibilities here but I gotta go with the iconoclasts <3 I think if you put them together Kasander would absolutely follow Vio around and bother him to teach them Aeldari signs and gestures. They want to know!! It’s interesting to them, just like the psychic communication is interesting to them. And they want to communicate with him and with the xenos they encounter.

I think in general they’d be the kind of person who was hard to shake- they see in him something of a mirror of their own situation. Their mutations have often led to them being treated with the suspicion of a xenos, and yet he’s lived the life of one despite a far more human appearance. And his life seems to have been a liberated one suddenly curtailed by being pulled into the Imperium, something they feel strong empathy for. There’s curiosity there, and kinship, but also a strong sense of protectiveness, perhaps.

Asperia’s birth was foreseen centuries in the past by Ismene von Valancius, the bastard prophetess of the von Valancius family. Ismene’s machinations would ultimately lead to a major purge of the family for heresy which it barely survived, but it mattered not, for this too was foreseen. Asperia’s descent can be traced through Ismene’s half-brother, a psyker who was claimed by the Tithe and spent much of his life away from the family.

The descendants of this line, created by the cursed sorceress’s meddling, would ultimately become a voidship clan in the lower decks of a great imperial cruiser and become known for distinct patterns of mutation and a strong propensity for sorcery. Asperia is the last of this clan- while the awakening of their extraordinary psychic powers was a violent and destructive event, the ultimate demise of the house came at the hands of enforcers who exterminated the remainder soon after for their genetic impurities and sorcery. But in the midst of this Asperia, the strongest child the line had seen since Ismene von Valancius, was taken away on a Black Ship, never to know the fate of those left behind.

Gate

It’s in my “the canon timeline of FR is fucking stupid” heart that Asperia wasn’t “born”/imbued with life in the divine flesh until Bhaal’s revival, so that for me is 27 years before the start of the game. Don’t ask me about any canon events in FR right now that didn’t happen in a gate game. I’m scared. I’m not parsing that right now. Maybe I’ll fix my shit later but not now. Asperia’s birth is one of many divine signs that the Lord of Murder hath returned to the world after so many decades of death and dormancy. And of course, the day of Asperia’s birth is also the day of Ismene’s death: publicly assassinated by the last of her accursed kin.

The Bhaal cult, only barely slithering by in the palest shadow of existence, has no capacity to care for their infant overlord. Within hours of the birth Bhaal’s emissary Scleritas has spirited them away and gifted them to a humble family in the Lower City, where Asperia will be raised for about the next five years before being reclaimed by a much more stable cult.

hc + 🚶‍♂️ for a habit-themed headcanon

Gate time. Kasander’s stance with rapier is fucking awful. Their lethality with the weapon comes from a lot of compensation via divine instinct and ability, and all of that comes out to being “better than average but not exactly extraordinary.” The reason for this, of course, is that rapier wasn’t a weapon Asperia was ever given much training with. It’s a pretty weapon, an honorable dueling weapon. It’s not the tool of an assassin or someone who engages in combat far beyond the scope of a duel. What Kasander’s body remembers is how to use edged blades and small piercing daggers, and how they stand tends to reflect how they would have once held Gula or Nausea, Asperia’s shortswords. Wyll spent a lot of time trying to help them learn to use rapier properly, and his coaching is to thank for pretty much all of their improvement. Shields they had to learn entirely from the ground up. Again, thank Wyll for the help.

in one or two fics i've included this personal headcanon but I would write about Laura Lee studying theology, not in the jesus obsessed way, but in her own way to understand her faith

there's so many different options for Lottie but i've always thought it would be fun for her to study bussiness and somehow do it all in the opposite way of what her father wanted

this would be a best friends to lovers situation, lots of yearning and pining over each other, both of them convinced it's unrequited but it very obviously isn't

one night, maybe they're watching a movie in lottie's bed, laura lee falls asleep and of course lottie doesn't wake her up... accidentally falling asleep in each other's bed becomes a very common occurrence

lottie would know, so so soon, that she wants to spend the rest of her life with laura lee. everyone will call her crazy but she will suggest next semester they move into an apartment together like the day after they finally get together officially

Au where Zuko also is a prodigy + has white flames

Hello, anon!!

When Zuko is born, he's born as a powerful bender. Ozai is very happy to see a strong flame in his son and it keeps Zuko from being in danger of being killed. Zuko is allowed to be a normal kid for a few years (because Ozai knows an infant isn't going to firebend) and Ursa tries to raise him as best she can but Ozai is also pretty much there from the start which keeps Zuko from fully learning from his mom like he did in the show. Instead, Ozai raises Zuko and Azula to be mini versions of himself and since Zuko is also a prodigy now, Ozai has two weapons who want to earn his favor. Ursa, again, tries to do what she can for her children but there isn't much that can be done once Ozai gets his hooks in them. (Azula: Zuzu! Look what I learned! *Does a kata* Zuko: Yawn. I learned that move five weeks ago, Lala. And I got it down in one session. Azula: That's impossible! No one can master it that fast. Zuko: Well, I am father's oldest prodigy. The one who will be taking over for him one day. I think you are....Oh, how did that general put it? The spare. The forgotten child. Azula, angry: Yeah, well-have you learn the Flying Dragon move yet? Zuko:.....I'm going to very soon. Azula: I've already started. Zuko: I'll have it mastered by the end of the week. Azula: A move so complex even uncle struggled with it? I'm sure.)

When Lu Ten is killed and Ozai asks for the throne, Azulon orders him to kill Azula because Zuko is the older child, male, and a prodigy as well (Azula is powerful, yes, but Ursa and Ozai can always have another kid as far as Azulon is concerned since they already had two prodigies. The new child will just be a bit younger than their older brother. Nothing that would seriously hurt the family in the long run). Azula panics and flees to her mother, begging her for any kind of help. Ursa makes the same deal she does in canon but this time, since she did it for Azula and Ozai agreed to kill her, Azula starts to wonder if her father really is as amazing as she once believed him to be. She spends the next few years starting to doubt her father more and more but keeping quiet because she's not an idiot. There is no Agni Kai scene since Zuko never speaks out. Ozai raised him here. If anything, he would be congratulating the general on his plan. Rather, Ozai keeps both him and Azula around to train until they are 14 and 16 which is when Azula gets her blue fire and Zuko gets his white flames. (Zuko: White flames are better. Azula: Huh? That's interesting. I could have sworn blue fire burned hotter than white. Zuko: Just means you're going to burn out before me.)

Aang is still broken out of the ice by Katara and Azula is sent after them (because...again spare heir). Azula eventually catches up to them and pretty much partakes in Zuko's role in canon except she had the authority to throw Zhao off a boat. But, since Aang is constantly slipping through her fingers, Ozai takes her off of the mission and puts Zhao in charge. Azula, not wanting to fail in her first mission outside the Fire Nation, ignores her father's order to return home and follows the Avatar to the North Pole. Zhao still murders the moon (Azula: How did this man become an admiral?) and is then killed by the ocean spirit. Azula fails in getting the Avatar again but refuses to stop in her mission, making it clear to the team that she is still after them. Meanwhile, Ozai realizes Azula is not returning and sends Zuko after the Avatar and her. (Ozai: Azula is a failure. I have a task for you, my son. Capture the Avatar and your sister and bring them here. Do you understand? Zuko: I do, father.)

Zuko and Azula quickly start competing with one another to try and capture Aang. Zuko had more resources behind him since Ozai isn’t currently mad at him, but Azula has more experience fighting Aang (basically Zuko gets taken out by airbending and waterbending more than Azula does). Now, because both siblings trained under Ozai they’re both incredibly smart as well as powerful. Zuko knows Azula is going to get Mai and Ty Lee and decides to recruit Mai before Azula can get to her, so it becomes Azula and Ty Lee vs Mai and Zuko for who can capture Aang first. When Ba Sing Se comes around, both siblings have the idea to sneak in but while Azula and Ty Lee sneak in with the Kyoshi Warrior disguises, Zuko and Mai sneak in as refugees. In the upper ring with the Gaang, Azula believes she had the advantage and decides to act and capture Katara. Her plan is to use Katara as bait and then attack and capture Aang when he comes to free her. Meanwhile, Zuko and Mai are in the lower ring and make their way up to the upper ring while chatting which is when Mai realizes that the Zuko she knew is kinda gone. Zuko at 10 and Zuko at 16 are two very different people after 6 years under Ozai. She tries not to let it bother her but it’s very clear. Eventually, the final fight breaks out and ends with Azula aiming the lightning at Aang but Zuko, who refuses to let Azula win, takes the lightning blast and sends it back at her. The blast is strong enough to disorient everyone and knock Aang out, who is quickly captured by Zuko. He and Mai flee the city before they can be stopped leaving the Gaang without an Avatar (thankfully in a still standing Ba Sing Se) but with a captured Royal and acrobat.

Ozai isn’t happy. Zuko’s job was to bring Azula back but instead he just did half of his job. Zuko tries to argue that Azula is taken care of since she’s in enemy hands. (Zuko: I give her a week before they kill her for not giving up information. Ozai: I didn’t ask for the Earth Kingdom to kill her. I asked you to bring her back! Zuko: Father, please, I….I thought it would be a good idea for the war. Ozai: Explain. Zuko: Sozin’s Comet is coming soon but we haven’t been seeing a spike in morale- Ozai: You’re too concerned with regular soldiers, Zuko. Zuko: I know, but hear me out. How would citizens feel when they find out the enemy murdered the princess? The princess who was trying to save her nation from Ba Sing Se’s tyranny gave her life to defend the Fire Nation. Ozai:….Hmmmm. I will consider this. It’s not a horrible idea. You’re dismissed. Zuko: Thank you, father.) Meanwhile, Azula is very much alive and pissed at Zuko for abandoning her in the city. The Gaang knows they have to get Aang back if they want any shot at ending the war and, to do that, they have to get into the Fire Nation. Thankfully, they just so happen to know a familiar princess who knows the nation like the back of her hand. The Gaang make a deal with Azula and Ty Lee: they help them get into the Fire Nation in exchange for saving them from Earth Kingdom execution. Azula initially refuses, saying she doesn’t want to betray her father or her nation. However, it becomes clear to her that this might actually be a blessing, a way to return to the Fire Nation with the Avatar’s team, capture them all and stop the eclipse invasion: three birds with one stone. After talking to Ty Lee, Azula agrees and the five head off towards the Fire Nation.

Im down to do either. Lately I’ve been writing more headcanon type stuff but I’ve done both in the past.

As for how many, you could ask for as many as you’d like. Obviously the more the longer it’ll take me but also the more fun for me.

absolutely!

My only thing is that I’ve had issues with people requesting the same prompt with other writers. I saw the same request (literally word for word) on at least three other fic blogs after I had gotten it and wrote something for it.

Okay, I’m gonna go ahead and turn this into a college, no powers modern AU because I can, so we’ll say that the Straw Hat crew all attends East Blue University and despite all having different majors (I’m not a hundred percent sure about all of them, but Usopp is definitely a creative writing major and I think Star would be something like psychology or sociology), they all share a class together taught by Professor Shanks, who’s the most popular teacher at the school.

At some point all of them get stuck in a group together for a project, which pretty much no one but Luffy and kind of Usopp are happy about for various reasons. Star definitely isn’t happy about it because she’s been doing her best to avoid social interaction for the two years she’s been at this school, and she’s not happy at all about being forced to do a project with an over-excitable freshman and the most annoying boy she’s ever met.

(Eventually, though, the more time their group spends together the closer they get, until they actually start calling each other friends and hanging out outside of classes and Nami is able to bully Zoro into asking Star out, even if it takes a lot of convincing.)

Star’s still Been Through It™️ in this AU, but it’s a little bit different - her dad went a little nuts after her mom died and she basically had to raise herself because he spent most of his time either gone from the house entirely or plastered drunk when he was there, and as a result Star refuses to let herself get close to anyone because she’s too used to relying only on herself. Of course, Luffy eventually works his friendship magic on her and this changes, but it does take a little bit.

Obviously Zoro doesn’t have his same swords in this universe, but he is the star of the school’s fencing team (which Mihawk is the coach of). He wants to become a world-renowned fencing champion, and though Star teases him about how dedicated he is to the sport, she still comes to all of his matches after the friend group comes together and makes an extra effort to cheer and support him after they start dating.

I range from semi-lit to literate (1-5 paragraphs), and I occasionally write longer starters (up to 8 paragraphs) for practice. You don't have to match my word count on those starters, of course. I can provide one long starter daily and typically manage at least five short replies or three long ones per day.

I’m looking for an Undertale Multiverse (UTMV) roleplay, and am most interested in Cherryberry or Killermare, but I’m open to other ships too. My version of Cherryberry is already neck-deep in headcanons, so there would probably be a lot to discuss beforehand. I’m more picky with which pairings get a lot of focus and development, and there’s a lot of newer characters I’m not super familiar with, but that doesn’t mean I’m not open to new ideas!

For Cherryberry, I can play either Red or Blue, and for Killermare, I’d prefer to play Killer. I enjoy juggling multiple characters in the story, not just the central pairing; it would be great if you could handle a few side characters, too, but I'm comfortable managing most of them. Also, I LOVE seeing non-Sans-template OCs, Undyne- and Alphys-templates especially, so if you have any of those, let me know! They could be really useful as side characters!

I have a lot of plot ideas for Cherryberry, including one after a Reset and some fun tropey scenarios like a pirate AU. For Killermare, though… On that one, I’m interested in a more canon-adjacent scenario, focused on character development. If you have more plot ideas, I’m all ears! Fluff is good, but it can’t be the whole story; there’s gotta be some sour to balance the sweet. Oh, and NSFW is welcome, especially in lighter plots.

I like angst, as well as horror - it’s my favorite genre - so we could be getting into some pretty dark stuff. Violence and mild gore don’t faze me much, and I’m not opposed to major character death, as long as it’s planned and discussed ahead of time. Really, my only hard limits are that I will not roleplay any incestuous pairings, I will not write anything explicit with underage characters, and I will not pair a minor character with an adult one. I will not be writing out scenes of sexual assault or abuse, but these topics can be brought up as long as they’re discussed first.
