10. what does your favourite hat look like?

it is a particularly nasty shade of mustard yellow, with white stitching on the front that says fag. it was a gift from my father after coming out. he got it in vegas. (unfortunately, hats flatten my bangs otherwise i'd wear them more.)

i also have a pikachu hat with inflatable ears that move when i squeeze these tube things. there is a picture on my instagram of me attending the detective pikachu movie in it. legendary costume, i say.

14. if you could meet any famous person, dead or alive, who would you want to meet?

freddie mercury. i'd give anything to have a single conversation with freddie mercury. i've always said that, at the end of the day, i want to live my life with the confidence and energy he brought to his everyday. if i could just like... idk buy him dinner or do his laundry or something. i've written countless essays on his legacy, his love of music, how strong a staple he's become in queer culture.

20. how many bubble baths do you think you've taken in your life?

unfortunately, i have no idea. i've been in public baths in korea, if that counts? that was a wonderful weekend. in general, baths drive me insane despite them being good for my joints and post workout routine.

last bubble bath i remember was like six hours long because i started reading a persona 5 the last of us au and it drove me fucking insane it was so good i just sat there and pruned for six hours on my day off and finished every. damn. chapter.

27. what's the first movie you'd recommend to someone who has never seen a movie?

is it a copout to say footloose (1984)? it's my favourite movie for a reason. fantastic soundtrack, kevin bacon is a cutie in it, i love 80s films in general. plot is great, queer themes run rampant, and i still know the footloose dance to this day.

alternatively: the breakfast club, juno, breakfast at tiffany's, dead poet's society, good will hunting, and/or the perks of being a wallflower (all some of my favourite movies. i'd recommend my ultimate favourite, but uhhhhhhhhh)

Fuck The Crows because, frankly, gay people doing crime are very fuckable. Incredibly so. Gay people who also do crime are hotter than straight criminals and law abiding gays. The Crows are inherently sexy as hell. This was the easiest choice for me, tbh. Two of their team members are the most magnetic bisexuals known to Ketterdam, we have Wylan Van "nepo baby pretty privilege" Eck, Matthias, Inej and her numerous sexy as hell knives, Kuwei who needs no introduction, and Kaz *casually cast as Freddie Carter of all people* Brekker. Fuck The Crows.

Marry The Raven Boys. Ofc. This isn't even a question for me. To be honest, this is already my longest lasting relationship and I see no point denying it. I've already made my vows in front of god and its in the eyes of the lord I devote myself wholeheartedly. They are my Glendower. I don't think I can stress that enough. I can only hope I one day find friendship half as profound as the kind they all have. Kill The Foxes. Listen, I love these guys. I do. I could switch them with The Crows and have been happy, I'm sure. But at the end of the day I think The Foxes are a worse menace on society solely because their moral compass is on a perpetual vacation. Half of them have never had a moral compass. Most of them see no issue in murdering someone as part of their personal agenda or to solve a problem they could have, you know, tried talking to a therapist about. I'm not even pulling a "oh they're irredeemable bastards" logic leap I'm just really stressing that if I didn't kill them they'd end up killing either me or a few dozen people on their way to the grocery store and at the end of the day killing The Foxes is an overall reduction of a body count. I'd feel a little bad about Renee and Allison and Dan tho. But really atp I'm assisting in harm reduction practices before one of them takes a hit out on yet another fucking person or pisses off the mafia and gets someone else killed.

a little more serious answer: they can tell something is going on with optimus and they desperately want to pretend it's not. they don't want to know how he's aware of things he shouldn't be, how he knows stuff that should have long been forgotten, how he seems to be more familiar with them than he should be. how sometimes he speaks and it's like the dead are talking through him. how sometimes he will answer to empty air and somehow they can just tell what he's responding to. who he is talking to.

they Know. and they really, really want to pretend they don't.

they already carry the guilt of failing them once. the idea of doing it once more is unbearable and they'd rather deceive themselves than face it. they'd rather their friends stay dead and gone than think of them seeing what they've become.
