Dog Soldiers remains one of my favorite horror films because it was all done with practical effects. Want a werewolf? Make one. He's still around too.

“Brazen werewolf nudity” is among the best lines ever. And the werewolf absolutely hangs dong in the movie.

And can we talk about Tarsem Singh's The Fall (2006). Entirely shot with practical effects. It's a goddamn glorious masterpiece for the cinematography alone. That the acting and dialogue are also on point make it one of my favorite movies. Do yourself a favor and see it on the largest screen that you can find.

it would be a very impractical system i know. I used to jokingly think the clones just got dunked fully clothed into hand sanitizer instead of bathing lol, but i think this would be worse

The whole museum is very cool, but their current exhibit on David Korins Broadway sets is a definite highlight! We were in town to see the Beetlejuice musical tour, so of course I was a little biased with my photo taking... 😅 but his other shows are also featured, including Hamilton!
