Setud on eestlaste etniline rühm, kelle põline asuala on Kagu-Eestis Setumaal. Setude üldarv on ligi 10 000. Seto jsou etnická skupina Estonců, jejichž původní sídlo je Setumaa v jihovýchodním Estonsku. Celkový počet Seto je asi 10 000. To byla definice toho, co to je Setu, přímo v estonštině.
