Celebrating Small Wins: Reflections on the First Five Years of my Career
Time flies indeed. As of last Sunday, it's been exactly five years since my "first day in the real world." I know I still have a long way to go, and so much to learn, but I want to appreciate the progress I've made in the past five years.
I've had several part-time jobs back in college but it was on August 20, 2018 when I first reported to work full-time. I was a Media Writer (aka Broadcast Monitor) at Asia's leading media intelligence company, Isentia. Whenever I reached the office, I texted my parents "Happy place na" to let them know I got safe.
I stayed for two years before I got laid off, which triggered feelings that led to this article. (And an open letter to my colleagues/friends on my personal blog)
Looking back, I will always be grateful for my time as a Media Writer. It wasn't easy, I spent countless hours beyond my shift because I wanted to give my best in each of the 41283 summaries I've done for two years.
For five months, I commuted from Los Banos, Laguna to Ortigas everyday, and vice versa, before we were finally able to rent a 5 sqm room in Manila. That was the only room we could afford back then.
There were struggles and days when I wanted to give up. But I've also grown a lot, gained meaningful friendships, strengthened my faith in the Lord, and developed my work ethic.
It was worth it.
I remember often feeling so drained and tired on my way home, but I still looked forward to the next day so I could do my job again. I love learning new things everyday, and this job gave me that opportunity.
If there was one word that would describe my work ethic, that would be Passion. I always put passion and love in every task that I did.
More than a year later, I'm astonished that Isentia has recognized that passion. My teammate and friend Morris Manalaysay nominated me for the Isentia Awards Q1 recognition (without me knowing) and on Nov 21 2019, I was Manila's Isentia Awards Q1 winner alongside colleagues from different countries. That was my first career milestone.
I was so happy Momi got to see this day before she went to heaven. She was so proud, and I'm grateful I got to tell her it's all because of her and Dad that I get to survive each day and reach these milestones. All that I am and all that I ever will be, I owe it to them.
Isentia has been very supportive during my Mom's fight with cancer and raised funds for her, too. When Momi died in 2020, they also supported me in my grieving. I took a break and they only asked me to go back when I was ready.
When I was laid off, my separation anxiety was so strong, especially since I've been close with my batchmates and team friends as if we were high school classmates. (I'm glad we're friends until today even when we're in different companies already.)
Good journeys come to an end, too, for new and better chapters to unfold.
Chapter II
Getting laid off was bittersweet. I said goodbye to a job that I loved but it also led to better opportunities. I've been a Content Writer at Sevron Safety Solutions, worked on various projects for over a year. I got to do things I never tried before and wrote almost everything from blogs, social media posts, courses for The Knights of Safety™️, email campaigns, assessment tests for applicants, pillar pages, cluster pages, technical documents, and more. But my favorite task of all was writing the life stories of my colleagues, which was compiled into an internal book. As a storyteller, creative nonfiction is my favorite form of writing.
I'm also grateful we always aimed to change the world and save lives in each task. This meant a lot to me because I value meaningful work. Dale Allen was possibly the most passionate CEO/founder I've ever worked for. We had a therapist and life coach, too, Markos Yiannis, who had been so helpful in addressing our concerns, whether it's personal or work-related.
But one day, I was included in the layoffs again.
Chapter III
And that was when the plot twist happened. I returned to Isentia! This time, I was reporting to Isentia Singapore. Thanks to Ms Lady Ochel Espinosa, Regional Insights Director for Emerging Markets in Southeast Asia for encouraging me to apply for the role of Senior Insights Analyst in 2021. It was my dream job since 2018. I applied for the role of Insights Analyst in 2020, but I didn't get in. When I got laid off that year, Ms Ochel invited me to apply again, but I was already hired at Sevron. It was my "the one that got away". I'm grateful I got to pursue it in 2022. My favorite task was being part of our PH Elections white paper which was featured by media outlets. My favorite SG client was AIC.
However, I later on realized that as much as this was a truly great opportunity with so much learning and growth, what I really wanted to do was content writing instead of media analysis. I'll always be grateful I reached my dream of being a Senior Insights Analyst, but I realized it wasn't for me.
So after a year, for the first time, I resigned.
I love the company. I love the team. But I had to go. And find my passion.
But no matter where my career takes me, Isentia will always have a special place in my heart.
Chapter IV:
I applied to several Writer job openings. There was this one opening for Content Writer, but during the interview, they said the role was actually article moderation. Then I went through three challenging interviews and thankfully, I passed as an Article Moderator at iOPEX Technologies. Three months later, I became a Senior Article Moderator. And in my sixth month, I was recognized as the Top Overall Performer and agent with Top Attendance.
As much as it's fulfilling to be recognized for having good performance, I'm just as grateful for maintaining a good attendance. I have five rides to the office every day, encounter some floods along the way when it's raining, commute as early as 12AM, 3AM, 4AM, or 10PM depending on our shift, and so far, I've never been late yet since I started in February 🥹 I'm not saying I'll never be late, although that's the goal, but I just feel grateful and lucky that I was never late yet. Grateful, because everyday is a struggle, but I'm surviving it through God's grace. Lucky, because I know there are things outside our control that make tardiness inevitable and valid sometimes, but so far those things haven't affected me yet. So thank you po, Lord.
I believe in celebrating small wins just as we treasure huge milestones, and each time we report to work, each time we punch out after a long tiring day, each hour that we meet our quota, those are daily wins worth celebrating.
I'm glad to be back in the world of news, just like in my first job. From monitoring to moderating :)
There may be struggles and challenges, but I appreciate the job and the team. Very blessed to work with proactive teammates who happen to be good friends as well. (By the way, we are hiring! Let me know if you want to apply haha I doubt if anyone will read this lengthy story time but just in case, I'm putting this out here).
I was looking for Content Writing, but I found something else. And I enjoy it.
I realized, my adviser was right. it's okay to be open to new opportunities other than my passions. I shouldn't limit myself to writing.
What they say is true: you'll never know until you try. (I'm still writing everyday now, though, but in my journal or my verbose Instagram stories which are literally stories because of their long captions 🤣)
I'm grateful for each job I've had and currently have. My Dad and I were also able to transfer to a much better, bigger apartment unit (about 21 sqm?) since October 18, 2020. Thanks to the severance pay from Isentia 😅 Indeed, "All things work together for the good of those who love God." (Romans 8:28)
There are plenty of dreams that are yet to be fulfilled, but for now, I want to cherish the fact that I'm already living what I only once dreamt of.
I may not have been (or not yet?) a startup founder and CEO, or UNHRC/UNCHR diplomat, or New York Times bestselling author, or Miss Universe (😅) just like my younger self dreamt of, but I'm still thankful for the progress I've made. It's not much, but to my younger self, this is already a miracle. Sometimes imposter syndrome hits me, but I fight it by appreciating my hard work.
I look back at my first job, the struggle of commuting from LB to Ortigas each day, the struggle of squeezing ourselves in a 5 sqm room, the struggle of making ends meet, and I just feel so blessed to be where I am now. We haven't reached financial freedom yet but little by little, we're on our way.
To my future self, I don't know where you'll be, but I hope I've made you proud as well.
At the end of the day, all wins, big and small, are because of God's grace. His faithfulness carries me through every single day. As always, without Him, I can do nothing.
To everyone who's been part of this journey, thank you for the memories and lessons you've shared with me. And thank you for the moments we have yet to share.
To Momi, how I wish you're still here to celebrate our small and big wins but I know you're watching over us everyday. I'll do my best to keep making you proud up there. 🥹
To Apa, Dad, I'm so glad you're here with me. All that I accomplish each day is a result of how much you believe in me. I have many dreams in life but my greatest dream is to see you live up to 104 years old.
Thank you Lord Jesus for sustaining me in the first five years of my career. I surrender to You the bigger picture and the little details that make up each day.
Here's to the journey that lies ahead and to the growth that awaits ❤️
(PS. If you've read this far, message me an emoji. I just want to conduct an experiment char haha I'm just curious who was patient enough to read all this but I doubt if anyone will read this all 🤣. It's okay though. I had fun releasing this out of my chest 🥹)

A quick short story for my lovely name twins! Happy Birthday @acciovodka Hababa is the bestest name in the whole world! ❤️
This is written for fun, don’t take this (me) seriously!
Tom looked around his pub. It was a fairly quiet night, well, compared to the nights when he played Game Of Thrones on the telly.
“See ya, Tom! Bit drunk from the fire whiskey you served. Magical drink! Got my wife excited!” One of the customer howled before he left ー dragged by his ear by said wife.
Not exactly the kind of excitement he had in his mind LOLOLOL! #drunkcust #thepinkhairedwifeiscool
Tom exited the app and was going to take a picture of his cocktail when the sound of bell chimes told him of new customer. He turned to see a couple of adult, maybe in their 30s, sat at the bar. The gentleman looked sullen whilst the lady looked furious. He shoved his phone into his pocket.
“Evening lad and lass. Anything I can get ya?” Tom greeted them.
The man muttered something under his breath and Tom was sure the lady could hear him perfectly but she openly ignored him.
“Dry Martini for me and Pina Colada for him,” she said coolly, sliding her credit card across the bar, “Keep the tab open.”
“I said beer,” the man glared at her. He then shifted his attention to Tom, and with a small smile he added, “And chips on the side, please.”
Tom left them to their own devices ー quarrels, more likely. After some time, he went to give them their order. He caught up on their conversation.
“I can’t believe we’re still discussing this!” She yelled. She stopped herself from saying more in front of Tom.
Her partner thanked him before he chugged his beer.
Tom left them again but he stood in their vicinity, curious to know what was going on between the two good looking pair. From the sound of her shrieks, he knew it was something big. He kept his ears open.
“I don’t think I can take it anymore. We’ve been hiding a lot of stuff from each other!” He slammed his beer on the bar.
For the first time in that evening, Tom was grateful for the lack of patrons in his pub.
“I’ve been asking, ‘where have you been?’ ‘What were you doing late?’ ‘Who were you with?’ And I got no answers! How do you suppose I react to that, huh?!” The man ran his hand through his ginger hair frustratedly.
Tom noticed how the lady played with the ring on her left finger through his whole outburst. He saw her shoulders shook.
“For fucks’ sake, stop being a ninny! There’s a reason for that!” She finished her drink in one sip and lifted her glass up, silently asking for a refill.
Tom served her like a queen for calling him a ninny.
“If I hear you whine one more time, I swear I ー”
“What? Leave?” He laughed, “Nah you won’t. You’re bound to me.” He eyed the ring on her finger.
Tom clasped his hand on his mouth when it finally dawned to him: he didn’t have a ring on his finger.
He took out his phone and quickly tweeted:
Who’s the real cheater? Ginger head or pug face?! #shook #dramaoftheyear #teampugface
“This ring doesn’t have anything to do with you, asswipe!”
!!!! Pug Face just called him asswipe! #queenofsass #asswipe #asdfghjkl
“Still doesn’t change the fact that we’re over,” the man demeanour suddenly changed. He looked up to Tom and said in a very saddened voice, “Pina Colada, please.”
Tom felt bad for him so he gave him extra pineapple.
“What did I do wrong?” His voice was muffled as he covered his face with his hands.
The lady ruffled her black short hair and seemingly defeated. She dialled someone. She tapped her finger on the bar impatiently and halted when her called being answered. “I can’t hold on longer than this.”
Tom’s heart sped up.
OMGOMGOMGOMG
“I can’t stand his whining anymore!” She stared at his freckled face. “Just pick me up already!” She hung up angrily.
“He’s coming,” she told him.
He was silent for a moment, then he asked, “Why?”
She took one last sip when a car honk could be heard. She stood up to leave but she stopped a step away from the door.
I trusted you pug face! Don’t you dare take that step! #nuuuu!! #</3
“Because you’re not worth my time.”
The man snickered and without looking at her, he said, “Fuck off.”
She took the step.
ASDLFFGYLHHPTSMSW I SWEAR SHES A BITCH!!! #yeahfuckoff #fu
Tom was busy replying people’s replies when the door swung open abruptly, making the bell chimed loudly.
The black hair ran to ginger head and kissed him fiercely. “I’m sorry for being distant. I promise you there’s a reason, a solid reason!”
“What’s that?”
“Ronald Bilius Weasley,” the black-haired man went down on one knee, one hand holding Ron’s hand, one hand holding a small red box on its palm. “Will you spend the rest of your life with this old man?”
Ron’s tears were streaming down like waterfall, he snorted and finally gave him his answer, “Yes! Of course I’ll bloody spend my life with you, Snape!”
Snape’s face lit up and he flounced his hair as he said, “Everyone, we’re getting married!”
Tom cheered for them passionately. “On the house!” He served the newly engaged couple the best Pina Colada he ever made.
Ginger head is officially off the market! #ageisjustanumber #mlm #gaypride #happy
“This supposed to happen on our 5th anniversary but Pansy called, said she couldn’t hold the secret from you anymore.” Snape kissed the ring on Ron’s finger.
Ron laughed and Tom was glad to see him happy.
“Can’t believe she’s married to Gin. She’s forever tied to me. Family!”
“Yes. And one day I hope to have a big family with you.”
“Oh, Snape.”
And they lived happily ever after. #beautiful #iship #onetruepair

Using An Assessment Matrix With Your Business How To Use It
Tumblr media
An assessment matrix is a tool that can be used by a project manager to easily determine the level of risk associated with a project as a whole. With this matrix, you will be able to quickly identify which projects are in need of more attention, which ones are going well, and how much your overall risk exposure is for each project as a whole. The purpose of this article is to show you how to use a risk matrix in your business so that you are able to make better decisions about what projects to pursue next and what to avoid.
What is a risk assessment matrix, and what is its purpose?
An assessment matrix is a way of organizing risk in a way that is easy to understand. The idea is also to prioritize the issues as well as determine what needs to be done in order to resolve them. The purpose of a risk assessment matrix is to help identify the risks in your project, so that you can plan accordingly and mitigate them as much as possible.
Using a matrix of risk assessment, what can I do with it?
In order to be able to identify and prioritise the risks within your business, it is critical that you use a hazard risk assessment matrix. In addition, you can use it to assess them, take actions to mitigate them, and measure your progress over time as a result of them.
Identifying risks for new projects and determining whether they are acceptable
In assessing the risks that may arise for new projects, it's important that you take the following into consideration
The identification of the risks is the first step
It would be advisable to write down all of these potential problems if that is the case.
Determine how likely each risk is by assessing the likelihood. It is best to assign numbers to each risk based on a scale from 1-10, where 1 represents low probability and impact, and 10 represents high probability and impact. Note that there is no right or wrong answer when assigning numbers here.
An example of a matrix for risk assessment
The purpose of a risk assessment matrix is to identify and evaluate the risks associated with a project. If used as part of the overall risk management process, or alone as a stand-alone tool, it can provide a multitude of benefits. Using engineering risk assessment matrix will help you to identify, prioritize and control your risks based on their likelihood of occurrence, impact and controllability. By using the risk matrix, you will be able to determine where your time and energy should be spent. As a result, you can identify the areas in your business where you are exposed to the greatest risk as well as those areas that offer the best chance for success.

Porter’s five strengths show is a layout for any industry analysis that's utilized in analyzing an industry. The five competitive strengths are; dangers of modern participants, haggling control of clients, risk of substitute items, haggling control of providers and competitive rivalry within an industry. By applying Michael Porter’s five forces system, it'll offer assistance to establish Sevron Ltd.’s position within the market.

Bargaining power of suppliers
The control of providers in any given industry will ordinarily be decided by the sum of suppliers within the given industry. This implies that few suppliers in any industry will infer that the suppliers have more bargaining control. The suppliers for Sevron Ltd are Risk Assessment Software, COSHH Management Software and Incident Management Solution. These softwares developer companies have different features compared to universal softwares. These are being created with the purpose of helping businesses reduce risk such as insufficient training and a lack of resources, to wider, more generalized problems, including the general misconception that health & safety is a hindrance to business.

The large array of safety data sheets has created a lot of power at the hands of the consumers. They use this system for their COSHH assessments, from start to finish they use a plethora of MSDS available to use which then self-populate all the hazardous you need to address. Once the initial purchase has been made, brand loyalty may start to formulate.
 Threats of substitute products
A substitute item can be portrayed as a software that's interesting whereas compared to another software within the system but can meet the needs more often than not by the software that it is different with. A few of the substitutes are Risk Assessment Software, COSHH Management Software. However, substitute threats cannot be said to be very high since they cannot be used in urgent cases unlike Sevron Ltd.’s software.

Tumblr media
Sevron Ltd., based on the External Factor Evaluation Matrix, has a weighted score of 2.15. Though, relatively lower on score than the average of 2.50, Sevron Ltd. still has influential significance and strength in its industry or the market. The low weighted score was highly influenced by the economic movements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is a primary variable.
According to the EFE Matrix, the factor with the most weight is the “Corporate Sponsorship”. This is due to the recent connections, partnerships, and sponsorships made by Sevron to other leading companies in the same and other industries. One of the biggest factors for these connections, partnerships, and sponsorships are their flagship product, COSHH365 Suite, which promotes chemical safety and protocols. On the other hand, the external factor with lowest weight is the “worker strikes”. Although it is not much imminent, the threat of worker strikes is still possible, thus still considered as an external threat factor in this matrix.
It is to be noted that Sevron Ltd.’s performance score shown in this EFE Matrix has significant difference from the results than their pre-pandemic performance. They are usually a high-performing and scoring company and could also be considered a primary competitor in the market. But due to the negative effects of the pandemic to the economy, their weighted score is also expected to be lower like this.
C. COMPETITIVE PROFILE MATRIX
The Critical Success Factors are vital for Sevron Safety Solutions Company’s Business Growth and opportunities. Though all play a crucial part for Sevron, ratings play an important role. Hence, these rankings range from 1-4. IV. STRATEGY FORMULATION
A.         BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP MATRIX
Tumblr media
According to the matrix above, Forward and Horizontal Integration is a star category for Sevron Health & software because the company competes in a rapidly growing industry. Since 2017, Sevron has provided solutions such as risk management, safety data sheet inventory, and COSHH risk assessment management to their 7.7 million trusted users around the world.
Related diversification, market development, and penetration are in the question mark category because they have a large market share in a slow-growing industry, whereas product development and backward integration are in the cow category since they should be the company's priority to keep their powerful position for as long as possible. Sevron does not have services or strategies that fall under the dog category, since Sevron’s services are competitive.
 B.       STRATEGIC POSITION AND ACTION EVALUATION MATRIX
The SPACE matrix which is also known as the strategic position and action evaluation is a four-dimension framework that illustrates whether an organization’s strategies are forceful, conventional, defensive or competitive. The SPACE matrix normally has two axes where one axis represents the two internal dimensions of an organization – financial and competitive position while the other axis represents two external dimensions – stability and industry position.
Tumblr media
A look at Sevron’s performance shows that the company should be placed on the aggressive quadrant since it is financially stable and competing very strongly in the various industries that it serves. Since Sevron qualifies to be on the aggressive
Tumblr media
C.        GRAND STRATEGY MATRIX
Tumblr media
Although Sevron Ltd.’s growth may be strong and large, but their competitive position is weakening and they are under threat of being pushed out of the market by other companies. They are not able to compete effectively. The market is growing fast and an intensive horizontal integration strategy helps. Also, the situation doesn’t help since pandemic really gave negative effects to the company and also to the economic.
D .      INTERNAL-EXTERNAL MATRIX
Tumblr media
Based on the IFE and EFE Matrices in the previous factor evaluations, with the resultant result and scores were 2.33 and 2.97 respectively, the joint effect of the internal and external analysis falls in CELL V rates 2.97 for IFE Total Weighted Scores and CELL V that rates 2.33 for EFE Total Weighted Scores.
The outcome of the IFE and EFE total weighted scores falls and described as HOLD AND MAINTAIN strategies wherein this section shows that the company should focus on market penetration and product development. It should expand, but not aggressively; Penetrate market further; Develop new products or modify existing products.

As the software products are     already developed by the time the customers avail, there is no to less lag     time when it comes to service. Though if modifications were requested, the     time consumed before service is still considerably excellent.
Experienced Management Team
Management team of Sevron     Ltd. is composed of highly-trained professionals who are more than     qualified for their positions and with considerable number of years of     experience in the field and in the company.
 Weaknesses
Inaccessible to a Larger Consumer Audience
Sevron Ltd. is a very much     well-known software developer and service provider for big companies. But     its name is pretty much new for those small-time and start-up businesses.     Its main target of business is also mainly on western countries, leaving a     large consumer audience on the east unattended.
Lacks Other Product Segments
Sevron Ltd. is very much     successful when it comes to its core product or service. But it lacks     other known products or failed to introduce other products besides its     main product or service.
Ineffective Promotions and Advertisements
Even though Sevron Ltd. is     pretty well known to big companies, it is still a stranger for small-time     and upcoming businesses. There are also few advertisements being done,     denying to maximize the use of social media and new technologies.
Access to International Markets
Sevron Ltd. is a big company     but it still doesn’t have access to the majority of the world.
Need for New and Flexible Product and Service
Sevron Ltd. is a leading     player in the industry it is in. But, as the demand for more new software     service and product rises from different business types, the company can’t     keep up as much. Though it introduces a new service (COSHH Risk Assessment     Management), it is pretty much specific. It is burdensome for small to     medium-time businesses. Thus, the need for more flexible product services     is needed.
 Opportunities
Corporate Sponsorship
Sevron Ltd. is being offered     and receiving partnerships and sponsorships from various companies from     other industries due to the demand of the health and safety software they     offer.
Economic Status
Global economy is starting     to recover after the economic crisis brought by COVID-19 pandemic.
Growth in Technology
Technological advancements     help Sevron Ltd. to produce and manufacture high-quality software products     and services. Newly introduced technologies also help to increase     efficiency and productivity for businesses.
Environment
Global movements encourage     businesses to make sustainable products and services opening opportunities     for Sevron Ltd. to cater a larger array of customers through sustainable     software designed to be used by businesses.
New Trends on Consumer Behavior
An opportunity to lure new     customers as the trend on consumer behaviors changes.
 Threats
Increase of Dollar and Peso Difference
Foreign exchange rate     instability poses risks and threats for Sevron Ltd. in terms of global     market penetration and operations.
Business Tax Increases in the Country
Philippine’s corporate tax     is the highest among other Southeast Asian countries with 30% tax rate.     Although recently because of COVID-19, corporate taxes are reduced to 25%,     it is still substantial as the economy is still unstable thus this high     tax rate can pose a threat.
COVID 19/Pandemic
Businesses are highly     affected by the effects of COVID-19 in the economy. COVID-19 also affected     the Philippine economy the worst in Asia making it unideal for businesses     at the moment.
National Disasters/Fortuitous Events
As fortuitous events mean,     this is unavoidable. Philippines as it is located in the Pacific Ring of     Fire is prone to natural disasters, from earthquakes to volcanic     eruptions, not to mention the frequent strong typhoons.
Worker Strikes
Labour quality in the     Philippines can be deemed unideal. Low-income salary and wages, poor     employee treatment and protection by law, unideal work environments, and     such lead workers to rally or have worker strikes. Thus poses a threat for     businesses, especially with bigger multi-national businesses like Sevron     Ltd.

F.         QUANTITATIVE STRATEGIES PLANNING MATRIX
Tumblr media
In the QSPM table, two alternate strategies are the Market Penetration and Market Development. The Total Attractiveness Scores is 4.84 and 3.75. Sevron provides all businesses with task-based risk management software that is accessible through the internet. Since its inception, it has been very profitable and has been growing at a rapid pace. These strategies were developed, implemented, and evaluated in order to make functional decisions that would allow them to continue to meet their goals. Sevron has accumulated some of the methods that were developed and analyzed using an analysis of external and internal variables, multiple matrices, and SWOT Analysis.
Market Penetration and Market Development on improving the goods and services are both bonded to all of the strategies that have been performed, according to the SWOT Study. The BCG Matrix was used to plot the market share and strategies for the company's products and services. The SPACE Matrix is a strategy formulation method that focuses on an organization's strategic position at the height of its business. The GSM is used to decide which technique is most appropriate. External and internal variables are used again to determine how appealing each strategy is. The GSM's findings indicate that market penetration and development are feasible.
According to our findings, business development for enhancing operations and service, as well as market development, which includes service development, upgrading new services and product technology, and staff development training, must be introduced in order for Sevron Ltd to maintain its current market and industry position.
 V. STRATEGY RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended by any business company that they need to create an intensive strategy. These strategies are required to do for the goal, improvement or for the development of the company.
1. Software Improvement.
Sevron’s products are vulnerable to cybercrime. For example, the operating system remains a target of countless cybercrime attacks globally. This factor is a weakness because it limits the attractiveness of products. In this regard, cyber security is a product aspect of competition among firms in the computer hardware and software industry. On the other hand, the imitability of some products is a weakness because it could reduce the strength of the Sevron brand. Moreover, the company’s product portfolio shows dependence primarily on software products, which weakens the business against competitors that have dominant hardware and software products in the market.
 2. Product development
A product can be described as anything that is capable of providing a solution to a customer’s perceived problem whether it is physical or psychological. Therefore, any product that fails to provide the needed solution to a customer is not a good product.
 VI. ACTION PLAN
In order for the company to achieve its strategic objectives, action plans usually involve determining who will do what, by whom, and in what order. The structure and needs of the company influence how action planning is designed and implemented.
Market Penetration
This intervention entails extending operating hours and days, promoting other business partnerships, and safeguarding clients' reputations. This will keep and serve more clients, and it would be more effective if more time management is followed.
 Market Development
A successful collaboration with a well-known company can be beneficial to Sevron Ltd.’s. company expansion. The aim of collaborating with businesses is to increase market share, benefit, and market expansion. Clients will be able to connect with the goods and services available as a result of this. Only through their partnerships will they raise brand and company recognition.
 VII. CONCLUSION
For the researchers’ final analysis, Sevron needs to focus on improving and implementing strategies specifically in market penetration and market development. These strategies were found based on the statistical outcomes of different matrices which are the IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, CPM, BCG Matrix, SPACE Matrix, GSM, IE Matrix and QSPM.
Based on the Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE Matrix), the Sevron Software Company has a total weighted score of 1.59 while the weakness is 1.02. It demonstrates the company’s extensive network of branches and a good working relationship with their employees and management teams. It only shows that the most significant internal flaw is poor service. This problem can only be resolved if they enhance their facilities and adequately train themselves to provide the best possible service to their customers and build their company’s integrity. While in the External Factor Evaluation (EFE Matrix), it has a weighted score of 2.15. Though relatively lower on the score than the average of 2.50, Sevron still has influential significance and strength in its industry or the market. The economic movements highly influenced the low weighted score due to the COVID-19 pandemic; they are usually a high-performing and scoring company and could also be considered a primary competitor in the market.
In the Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM), Sevron only ranked second with a total weighted score of 3.44. While Sphera, their biggest competitor which ranked first with a total weighted score of 3.67, and on the other hand, Crams the last place with only a 3.36 weighted score. Being able to snatch first place from Sphera, the company should focus on improving competitive advantage and making substantial improvements with factors that have low ratings, allocating additional advertisements, and investments.
In the Boston Consulting Group Matrix (BCG Matrix), Forward and Horizontal Integration are the stars of Sevron Safety Solutions because the company competes in a rapidly growing industry. The company can provide a solution such as risk management, safety data sheet inventory, and COSHH risk assessment management to their 7.7 million trusted users worldwide. Related diversification, market development, and penetration were put in the question mark category because they have a significant market share in a slow-growing industry. In contrast, product development and backward integration are in the cow category since they should be the company's priority to keep their powerful position for as long as possible. They do not have services and strategies that fall under the dog category since the company is a competitive one.
According to the Strategic Position and Action Matrix (SPACE Matrix), the company's performance shows that it should be placed on the aggressive quadrant since it is financially stable and competing very strongly in the various industries it serves. Since it qualifies to be on the aggressive side, it means that the company can fully exploit available opportunities and enhance its market share. As the company has the high financial strength, high industry strength, enjoys a competitive advantage, belongs to an attractive industry, and operates in relatively stable environmental conditions.
As what has been stated above and as the results of the matrices that are given, Sevron needs alternative strategies to fulfill their lack in terms of product, services, competitors, etc. and to be more successful in the industry. In addition, the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) shows the two alternative strategies: Market Development and Market Penetration. These two must be developed, implemented, and evaluated to make operational decisions that would allow them to continue meeting their goals. These strategies can help Sevron Software Services fulfill their lack of product, services, competitors, etc., and to be more thriving in the industry.
 VII. FINANCIAL PROJECTION
Tumblr media
Based on the given tables above, which is the Income statement. Sevron Safety Solutions seems to be doing well in the computer software industry despite of major competitors such as Sphera, RAMs, CRAMS, and other Software vendor businesses. With this level of major competition, The Company managed to stay ahead of its game and compete with other competitors. Sevron is a well-known and a competitive software company that places itself as one of the leading companies in the computer software industry.

This September, I'm about to celebrate my first year at Sevron Safety Solutions. I feel so grateful to wake up each day knowing that I'll be doing the job that I love for a cause that I care for and with people that are great to work with. I get to do collaborate with brilliant minds, do a wide variety of tasks and both of these widen my horizons as a writer. I especially love the creative projects!
Right now, I'm in love with my current task to the point that sometimes I couldn't sleep because I couldn't wait to work again the next day.
When I first got in at The Knights of Safety in 2020, I said I feel like I'm closer to my Ikigai, where my passion, profession, vocation, and mission collide. And today, I could say that I still feel the same.
I'm truly thankful that I found Sevron and Sevron found me. :) Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing me here.
