I don’t think I ever shared my SFV contest entry here! Unfortunately, Squid Necalli (or as I like to call him, “Necalimari”) didn’t make it to the Top 12 finalists, but I’m still really happy with the design. I like to imagine his VT1 makes his “hair” glow like a bioluminescent deep sea creature, while his VT2 is uhhh he spits up squid ink rather than dirt.

One thing to keep in mind with voting on designs is, try not to get too hung up on art style, and just try to focus on the cleverness of the designs and imagine how they would look in-game!

Capcom has finally announced their top 12 for the Street Fighter Costume Design Contest, let me share to you my entry that didn't go through.

It is a costume designed for Chun-Li: A blue scrubs suit wearing N95 facemask and a faceshield.
