THE PORNHUB CNC THING MAKES ME SO MAD IT’S LIKE 😭 c’mon man im not allowed to watch people do weird shit that’s been planned out and consented to but you’ve 600 thousand videos that got uploaded after a breakup???

the whole thing started because of some high profile lawsuits and articles about pornhub's problem with revenge porn and women who had their actual assaults uploaded to the website, and how easy it was for people to download and re-up those videos. and it's so hard to talk about without sounding dismissive of what happened to those women and girls, because it's fucked up that happened to them and true that pornhub was shit about dealing with that!

AND IT STILL IS

they fucking. cracked down and got rid of all these Problematic tags and as a result i have seen more untagged triggering content that i had ever seen before. even setting aside ending up on weird websites that brag about hosting revenge porn, shitty stuff is still all over pornhub!! there are so many better steps they could have taken!!! they could have made certain tags limited to professionals with a paper trail. they could have locked more features behind verified accounts. instead they made it impossible for me to watch a clearly well-paid professional valiantly pretend that she can sleep through [redacted] unless i'm willing to try to watch videos straight from the search engine results in order to not see the horrors on the actual website where the video is hosted

alderheart: base fur color was taken from my brambleclaw's base fur layered over my squirrelstar's base fur and then tinkering with the opacity until it looked nice. both have the same stripe patterns + chin highlight as squirrelstar, and alderheart in specific got her freckles.

sparkpelt: some inspo taken from nanistar and powderseas :). tried to lower the amount of white i draw her with so it stands out more. i don't have much to say about her design but i think i'm satisfied with it for now

neither of them changed a whole lot from the last time i drew them. for alderheart in specific, i think literally only his tail pattern changed, and all he got was an extra stripe

thing that makes me feral is its everyone else telling Jinx who she is

her friends end up dead and she's still got their voices in her head telling her who and what she is. Silco spends the rest of his life telling her who she is to him. one city is telling her shes a terrorist and the other that she's a savior. even Isha is the one who 'adopted' Jinx, deciding that they would have a relationship—Jinx just go to decide what that looks like

I don't even have a point to this, just. the relationship with Isha and the touching her shoulders scene could both be seen as moments of growth for Jinx—people rely on her, they trust her, they believe in her, and she seems to believe it for the first time since Vi returned—but they're also just more instances of other people telling her who she should be

more Cadmus gripe time because I just finished the last boy on earth arc and ughhhh SB was so devastated to return home and find everyone gone, and we saw that Roxy spent weeks trying so hard to find him when everyone else said he was gone and good riddance, she even found Robin's number and asked Batman for help, she even went to see if Knockout knew anything, and everyone at Cadmus knows this- and when SB comes back from spending months as an amnesiac captive and wants so badly to see his friends again, they don't use their incredible resources to track down Roxy and help reunite them, they take him to Paris and claim it's because giving him a new scenery and something to hit will do him good and get his mind off it, but then it turns out they just want to field test him and get him to work for them. SB going from being exploited by Leech to exploited by Cadmus is bridged by a story where he's literally stripped of all agency and the ability to speak for himself and I'm going to scream.
