Dallas Walker

Human, cis bi man, he/him, 44 years old in the apocalypse timeline (born in 2000). He is mixed east Asian, of Vietnamese and White descent.

Dallas is Krow's/Casey Jr.'s biological father. He went M.I.A. shortly after Krow was conceived, so he was unable to be a father to Krow and husband to Kora (Cassandra). Dallas has somehow survived and is still kickin' it in 2044, just not in NYC. If you poke and prod enough, he may tell you what happened from 2026 to 2044. Though in his words, "It ain't pretty."

Dallas is a former Resistance soldier and a self-proclaimed bad boy. He is bold and takes risks in battle. He is surprisingly social given his lone wolf look, and tends to come off as a nonchalant slacker. Underneath his cool guy persona, he is a sweet and caring man who is fiercely loyal to those he considers worthy.

He does not have any mystical powers, and instead he typically likes to use non-tech weaponry. He is a chain smoker and has some disabilities from the war.

Voice claim: Troy Baker (sort of like Joel in The Last of Us games except imagine a Brooklyn accent instead of a Texan one)

Cedrus Draxum

Sheep Yokai, cis gay man, he/him, 653 years old at the start of the series (2018).

Cedrus is Baron Draxum's older brother. He is a politician and is a lead speaker of The Order of Mystica Praesidia. The Order is an elite guard within the Radiant Souls AU that serves as protectors of the Hidden City as well as liaisons between the government and citizens.

He is typically a very calm, mature individual with a warm, welcoming presence. He is a natural leader with a traditional mindset. Cedrus takes great pride in his work, though he is very concerned about honor and social status. Being the eldest Draxum, Cedrus is a perfectionist and often mothers his younger siblings. While he is stern and tries to cover any flaws as best as he can, like his brother he is quirky and a bit dysfunctional.

While warm and welcoming on the surface, Cedrus has been known to use his skills in interpersonal relations, speech, and persuasion, as well as his political/social power, to manipulate others into doing what he wants or orchestrate situations. He views everything he does as for the good of others and a means to an end. Cedrus sees himself above that of a common, dishonest politician who blatantly lies, but those who know him well might disagree.

Currently (as of 2018), Cedrus finds himself bored with his wealth and power, which might lead to some interesting developments. He has considered leaving his job and living a simpler, cleaner life, possibly running away to the surface world. His plan on how to do this, however, may be flawed.

He has a powerful mystic ability to grow trees and manipulate wood. It is rumored that he can create a house within a day, something he neither confirms nor denies.

Leporyx Lagolune

Jackalope Yokai, enby sapphic, they/them, 540 years old at the start of the series (2018).

Leporyx works in the same elite guard as the Draxums as the Defense Commissioner of Historical Sites. Their job is to maintain barriers and security around important historical and sacred sites in the Hidden City, such as the Crying Titan. They are Baron Draxum's colleague, and they share a mutual hatred of each other.

Leporyx is a witch and alchemist who is known for being talented and highly secretive. They keep out of the public eye as much as possible and seem reclusive. They are a serious and hardworking individual with firm ideas on the way things should be or the way things should work. Leporyx is slightly emotionally closed off and is often blunt or dry-witted. However, they are not cruel and practice kindness. At times they are even quite caring and protective, managing to get along with most kind people. They probably need to take a day off, learn how to have fun, and open up more.

They have a goal to create the Elixir of Life, a legendary substance said to give the user immortality. For what reason they are trying to create the elixir and how they will accomplish it remains unclear.

Leporyx's mystic powers are related to the moon. They wield a giant hammer called Moonhammer which is powered by moonlight. Considering that down in the Hidden City they receive no moonlight, Leporyx has to rely on other spells most of the time.

Murdina

Kelpie Yokai, enby lesbian, she/her, 487 years old at the start of the series (2018).

She is a slim bipedal teal horse with a shark-like tail and a wooden-like horn on her forehead. She has sparkly scales and long jet black hair that is always covered in algae. She typically dresses like she is a Celtic bog witch.

Murdina is a dear friend of Leporyx's and, unbeknownst to her, Leporyx's crush. She is ill with a mysterious mystical disease which prevents her from living the way she wants to.

Despite her name sounding like the word "Murder", Murdina is very kind, quiet, and soft-spoken. She is often whispery, sort of like Fluttershy, partly due to shyness and partly due to feeling weak. She is often confined to her bed or the care center that she is staying in, and usually needs mobility aids like a cane, walker, or wheelchair to get around.

She has a love of the ocean and the oceanic body of water within the cavern of the Hidden City. She enjoys collecting shells, sea glass, and other such things. In her youth she was an avid surfer and swimmer. She has a few mermaid friends who enjoy visiting her and giving her little gifts.

Murdina does have mystic powers related to water and mud, but her powers have become too weak to use much.

Selene (Relatively new OC!)

Pegasus-taur Yokai, cis bi woman (formerly thought she was straight), she/her, 570 years old at the start of the series (2018).

She is a white centaur-like horse with giant feathered wings on the back of her lower half. She loves crop tops and gold jewelry.

Selene is Cedrus' ex-wife. They divorced due to Cedrus finally realizing he was mlm and couldn't be sexually attracted to her like he wished he could be, so they stayed on amicable terms. Cedrus still regards her as one of his best friends outside of his political sphere, and Selene also regards him as one of her best guy friends.

Selene has a kindhearted, well-meaning white suburban mom vibe to her. While nice, she may have a limited understanding of certain perspectives. She is known for her beauty and elegance. Selene is feminine and loves shopping, indulging in girly things, and thinking about romances. She appreciates the finer things in life and has expensive tastes. When they were still married, Cedrus was all too willing to indulge her. Fancy restaurants, wine tasting, going to concerts, shopping for pretty diamond necklaces... you get the idea.

She worries often about being seen as old, so she tries to stay hip with it by sometimes talking like she's a teen instead of a mature woman, much to others' chagrin. She invests a lot in things like anti-aging skin creams, makeup, and buys into a lot of health beauty scams. She'd be the sort of mom to be on TikTok.

Voice claim: Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Laurel Lightfoot from Onward and Elaine from Seinfeld)

Esther (Relatively new OC!)

Hamster mutant, cis bi woman, she/her, 17 years old at the start of the series (2018), 34 years old when she gets introduced to Krow and the Hamato in the fixed future timeline way later (2035).

Friend and eventual love interest for both Krow and Yukito later on when they're all in their 30s.

Esther is your typical cute bookworm. She was once human and was mutated when she was 21 from a stray Oozesquito, which despite the Mad Dogs' best efforts have not gone extinct and are still roaming around NYC. She now works in the Mystic Library as a library assistant.

She is a kind, pacifistic, curious soul who loves to learn. She is an average 34 year old nerd: eternally online, loves reading fanfiction and playing video games, and loves anime (especially shojo and slice of life). Esther sometimes worries about being a plain or boring girl, especially after meeting the Hamato. She is often so quiet that sometimes people forget that she's there, but she uses it to her advantage to listen in and soak up information.

Esther's mystic ability is Cheeks of Holding. She has pocket dimensions in her hamster cheeks that she can use to store anything she wants. She is completely chill with her role in any group she's in as being the keeper of items.

A quirk of hers is that she loves wearing weird earrings, and every day she has a new set of funny earrings to wear. (Sort of like Mabel Pines' sweaters or Ms. Frizzle's dresses!)

Voice claim: Kimiko Glenn (known for roles such as Kiff from Kiff, Niffty from Hazbin Hotel, Horse from Centaurworld, and Izzy Moonbow from My Little Pony: A New Generation)

Ronin had been very successful at what he does. He’s infiltrated the toughest mobster gangs, facilities, secret organisations that the Hidden City hardly knew about, and knew most secrets that could have him easily get what he wanted. Ronin has killed before in his life, earning titles in the streets as the The Executioner, The Phantom, The Monster and many other names that he has been called over his time in this job he does.

Honestly he’d laugh when he first learned of these ridiculous titles, but it felt oddly empowering to be that known and feared in the Hidden City.

What was the saying again?

Started from the bottom and now we’re here? Or was it from zero to hero? 

He scoffs; hero? No way, he was the least hero like. 

But that’s beside the point. Ronin was successful at whatever job he was given. Until he agreed to take on the job on learning more about Adriaen. He didn’t want to admit it, but this was probably his most difficult one. Which sure, he’s had his fair share of troublesome cases, but this? This should’ve been easy, but he found nothing.

It didn’t help that Ronin had to force himself to go undercover and act like one of Draxum’s newly acquired henchmen. Oh he hated that the most.

No…he hated Draxum the most. With not just his constant whining and bitching about taking over the human world, but with also the fact that Ronin knew Draxum…the damn sheep Yokai just didn’t know who Ronin was. 

Fine by him.

Anyway, that wasn’t the entire problem. Ronin was getting stressed. He had made a promise to Adriaen, a promise to find more about him, but fuck, Ronin couldn’t do anything about it. He looked through files, snuck into the most guarded of facilities in hopes anything could lead back to Adriaen. 

His next best choice was to simply ask Draxum himself, but each time he tried, Draxum ignored him, too focused on doing other millennial tasks, or he got suspicious, and Ronin had to dumb himself down to shake off the growing suspicion and leave it for a few weeks to make sure Draxum didn’t think of him that much.

Ronin was many things. But a failure? He couldn’t add that to his resume.

But even he needed a break from his job. So here he was, sitting on an edge of the New York building, swinging his legs over the ledge and huffing in a smoke that he stole from a convenience store. 

He was hunched forward, eyes narrowed and focused in thought. He was suppose to relax, but all he could think about were plans and strategies. 

“What am I going to do….?”

”Do what?”

Ronin looks up, turning his head to look behind himself. His eyes connecting with Adriaen’s. He blinks before giving him a fake smile, returning to his usual self.

”Adri! What brings you out on this fine night?”

”Patrolling. I saw you and well…here I am.”

Ronin hums in acknowledgment as he looks away and puts the cigarette in his mouth, inhaling the smoke before blowing it out into the night air. “And so you’ve decided to join me? How kind of you.” He grins as he gestured for him to sit down. Adriaen watched but reluctantly walks over and sat next to him.

”Want one?” Ronin offered a cigarette to him, but Adriaen twisted his face, remembering the last time he tried one and he shook his head. That was a one time thing only.

Ronin shrugs his shoulders and puts it down in between them as he focused his gaze back to the streets. It was surprisingly a little empty, but every now and then you’d see the occasional car or couple walking by.

”Are you all right?”

Ronin tilts his head at the question, “What do you mean? Do I not look fine?” He inquired with curiosity, and with a hint of playfulness in his tone. “It’s just you seem….different. I don’t know, like you have a lot on your mind.”

Ronin held back a scoff. Oh, did he have a lot of things on his mind all right.

”Ah, just little things is all. Nothing to worry your pretty little head over.”

He winks, raising his hand up and teasingly patting Adriaen like he was a dog. The mutant narrowed his eyes and slapped Ronin’s hand off him, causing the latter to chuckle at his actions. 

“I doubt it’s the little things. But if you don’t want to talk about it, that’s fine too. I don’t like pushing into others lives.”

”How noble.”

It was sarcastic and a joke, but even so Adriaen could see the little bitterness behind it. Maybe not directed at him fully, but it was at something. “Ronin…”

”Yeah?”

“Are you okay?”

Wow, he was stubborn. Did he not get the hint that Ronin didn’t want to talk about his issues? 

The grey masked turtle sighs before he perks up at an idea he got. “Hey, want to play a game?” He changed the topic, causing Adriaen to narrow his eyes at him, he could tell he was avoiding talking about his feelings. He’s seen it on Leo all the time.

”Ronin—“

”It’s called two truths and a lie! Simple right? You’ve played before I’m guessing.”

Ronin swings his legs like a kid, smiling as Adriaen knew he wasn’t going to talk. “Fine…” He agrees to play, which had the other grin happily as he pats his legs in thought. ”Great! This is going to be fun. Let’s see….oh I know.” He clears his throat and smirks in confidence at himself, “My name is Ronin. I am a human. My eyes are yellow. Which is the lie?”

Adriaen looks at him like he grew two heads. He wasn’t impressed, “You're not human.” He bluntly stated, making Ronin laugh as he threw his arms up slightly in the air. “Correct! Wow, you’re good at this game.” He teased as he stands up, walking across the ledge before standing in front of Adriaen who became a little panic that Ronin would fall off if he tripped over.

”Next round. Look out, this is going to get harder.”

Adriaen stared up at him, waiting patiently for what he had to say. No doubt another joke one, but if this was a way for Ronin to de-stress then so be it.

“I got my name from a book about Japanese culture. I lived on the streets till I was about 8 years old. And my favourite colour is bright yellow.”

….what?

Adriaen look up at him in utter disbelief at what he was hearing. His mouth agape as Ronin gave him a heavy smile, but he waits for Adriaen to say something.

”….the last one is a lie?”

”Correct!”

Adriaen looks at him, he wasn’t expecting Ronin to include his actual personal life into what he thought was going to be a silly game. “Ronin—“ He began but was cut off once more as Ronin walks back and forth in front of him.

”Let’s see…Big Mama took me in when I was 8. I’ve been outside of New York before. I am skilled in various weapons.”

Adriaen sighs, though this one was a little harder for him to detect which was the lie. So he went with his gut intuition. “Is it…the second one?” He asks to which Ronin chuckles and crouches down to Adriaen’s height, playfully tapping his beak.

”You are good. You’re like some sort of lie detector. Guess I’ll have to have make this even more difficult.”

Ronin tilted his head in thought, humming as Adriaen was taking in every bit of information he could from this game. He had realised that this wasn’t just a way to de-stress from whatever was bothering him. But he was actually giving little insights of what his life was like before he met Adriaen. 

“Big Mama trained me to fight and a year after she took me in, she forced me to compete in the Battle Nexus—“

She what…?

”—I know about 5 languages fluently. And…I can see clearly in the dark.”

Adriaen sweats, honestly any of these could be a lie. But he saw the brief hesitation on the last option. Ronin had to think about it. “Last one is a lie.” 

Ronin gave a little smile and nods, “Well done. Maybe I should’ve picked a harder game like monopoly or something.” He joked before going back to sit down next to him. Maybe he was done with the two truths and a lie game?

”Last round. You ready?”

Guess not.

Adriaen hesitantly nods, shifting a little closer to listen clearly. “All right…ahem.” He clears his throat again as he hunched forward, his elbows resting on his knees as he clasps his hands together, leaning his chin on them comfortably.

”I have killed before. I am a wanted man in the hidden city. And….”

He paused, internally battling with himself before exhaling out a breath. “And I was created by Draxum around the same time you and the others got mutated.”

Adriaen shivered at the options. He could see the tense look from Ronin as he waits for an answer. Adriaen examined his face and body language. He couldn’t tell which was a lie…or maybe…

”None. They were all true.”

Silence followed after; the atmosphere was tense between them as Ronin spoke up first. “Ding, ding. We have a winner.” He sarcastically celebrated, Adriaen felt a little overwhelmed about learning what he could from him, he took a deep breath as he couldn’t help but see Ronin in a different light.

”Do…you have friends?”

The grey bandanna mutant was taken aback. He glanced over to Adriaen with a questioning look. 

“I got you don’t I? And your blue friend seems to really like me.” He teased with a smirk, but when he saw the deadpan look from Adriaen he rolls his eyes.

”Okay, so I don’t have friends that one normally should have. So what? I get by without them.”

Adriaen frowns at him, “So you got no one to talk to about your issues?” He asks but that seemed to be the wrong choice of words as Ronin groans and stands up, walking away from him before turning around to point at him.

”Issues? What issues? I’m fine! It’s not like I’m dead so whatever I’m doing is working right? So what that I was forced to fight in the Battle Nexus since I was 9? So what that I was homeless?”

He hissed and kicks the cigarette packet away from him. “So what that I was mutated by Draxum who saw me as a failure?! He abandoned me because I simply didn’t work out the way he wanted me to be? Did I ask to be mutated?! No!”

He heaved in anger, not at Adriaen, but more at himself. He pants, his fists clenched by his side as he looks up at the sky and breathes in. He had to calm down, he had to be calm.

”Ronin—“

Ronin held his hand up at Adriaen, stopping him from talking as he placed his free hand to his face. “Don’t. I’m…I just got angry. It’s been a stressful few weeks.”

Adriaen walks slowly to him, his face giving him sympathy, not that Ronin saw it as he had looked away, ashamed of throwing a tantrum. “Hey…” Adriaen gently placed a hand on Ronin’s bicep, making the latter side eye him in puzzlement but he didn’t move him away. It was…a bit comforting he won’t lie.

”I won’t judge you. And I won’t pry you to tell me more. But there’s clearly something happening in that head of yours. And, well…if you ever want to talk, or vent or anything like that. I am here to listen.”

Ronin looks at him in stun silence, gosh he didn’t like all this mushy stuff. It made him feel awkward. But still…he smiled lightly at Adriaen and nods in acknowledgement. “Well, I have your number so…” He lightly joked, which even had Adriaen quirk a smile at him.

He releases his hold on him, Adriaen stepping back to give space for Ronin who silently looked away. He didn’t know what to do now. Should he leave and carry on with his night? He could go home and sleep. But he wasn’t tired.

”Hey…do you have a home?”

Ronin snorts at him and tilts his head, crossing his arms comfortably over his plastron. “Why? I’m not homeless anymore now.”

”Well…I got curious. I was stupidly going to ask if you could show me. But of course you wouldn’t, it’s your private life—“

”Okay. Follow me.”

Adriaen was flabbergasted at the response. He wasn’t expecting for Ronin to actually invite him over. “Seriously?” He mumbles but Ronin didn’t reply as he walks off, Adriaen instinctively following him.

Going to a water tower was not what Adriaen was expecting, it was on a high building, a bit away from the busier side of New York. Adriaen stood on the rooftop, watching Ronin crawl through a hole in the abandoned water tower before he poked his head out and smiled down at the shocked turtle.

”Coming in?”

Adriaen blinks but slowly nods as he climbs up the ladder and got through the hole too. When he jumped down to land on the floor, he gazed around at the space. 

It was small, given it was a water tower, but there were some things that made it…into a home of sorts. A hammock near a corner, most likely where Ronin slept. Some string lights that provided little light, and a cracked mirror leaned up against a wall. There was also a clothing rack where Adriaen recognised the outfit hanging up was the one that Ronin wore when he was undercover with Draxum.

But other than that��it was basically lifeless. 

“It’s not the best. But it gives me shelter. So…” Ronin spoke up from the side, as he placed his hands on his hips. “So what do you think?” He asks with amusement, to which Adriaen couldn’t help but let out his intrusive thoughts.

”It’s not you…but it also is?”

”What?”

Adriaen furrowed his gaze; how should he explain it?

“Well…I was expecting something more…full of life. Colourful? Loud? Something that screams you. But as I think about it, this…is also something that reminds me of you. Low-profile.”

He wasn’t sure if he was making any sense but Ronin hums none the less and shrugs his shoulders. “If I could, I’d definitely live in a much fancier place than this. Lights, posters, a wardrobe. You know all the homey stuff. But it was either this water tower or living in Big Mama’s hotel.” 

Adriaen glanced at him, while he now knew how Ronin and Big Mama knew each other and that he fought in the Battle Nexus. Surely a hotel suite would have been better than this right?

”I…I’ve had not so great memories in that hotel.” Ronin admits, but he didn’t explain in detail as he sits on the ground comfortably. “Anyway, you saw my home. Was there anything you wanted to see? Cause this is about it.” He informs the quiet turtle who was still processing the whole ordeal.

Adriaen walks over to the hammock, grazing his fingers against it as he gave one last look around the water tower room. Not even a picture to fill the empty walls. He turns to the lonely turtle who had his head down in thought, he was still stressed, but was doing what he can to hide his state.

”You really need a break.” Adriaen muttered, catching him off guard as Ronin gazed up at him. He slightly chortles and tilts his head with a light grin. “Oh yeah? I’ve been wanting a vacation.” 

Another joke.

What was it with Adriaen and hanging out with mutant turtles who hid their feelings with jokes?

He shakes his head and decides to sit on the hammock, watching Ronin’s confused face. “It’s not a vacation…but we could just hang out to pass time.” Adriaen offers, Ronin slightly flinching at the comment as he gave a wide eyed look.

Hanging out…? 

He hasn’t done before. Or at least not in the way where he was trying to gather information for a job. Just simple, relaxing, hanging out.

“That…sounds nice.”

And so, that’s what they did. They talked for a bit about random things, mostly Ronin did the talking but it was nice. He had slowly relaxed and wasn’t looking as stressed out then he was earlier. He probably even forgot what he was thinking about the more he hung out with Adriaen.

But all good things must come to an end. Ronin was in the middle of talking about a sword trick he learned when he stops. Soft snoring interrupting him as he looks over to Adriaen to see him sleeping peacefully on the hammock. Eyes closed, mouth a little open as he breathed evenly. Not a care in the world.

Ronin stared, he walks over to get a better view. He was debating on waking him up, telling him to head home but…well he didn’t mind the company either.

He reached out, lightly caressing Adriaen’s face who stirred lightly which had Ronin pull away to not wake him up from his slumber.

With an airy and short laugh, Ronin walks away from him and sat down on the floor, pressing his carapace against the metal wall of the water tower. Since his bed was occupied he figured he should sleep on the floor. While it wasn’t comfortable, he didn’t mind it.

He closed his eyes, and he too fell asleep.

The next morning, Adriaen woke up grumbling. He didn’t mean to sleep when he was chatting with Ronin, he hoped it didn’t come across as rude or anything of the sort.

He’ll send an apology text later. 

Wait a minute…this wasn’t his room. This wasn’t the lair.

Adriaen looks around in alarm. He was still in the water tower, he slept over by accident, shit! The others could be freaking out on his whereabouts, after all it was only semi-recently that he was kidnapped and had to be rescued. He checks his phone, he didn’t see any messages or missed phone calls so that eased him slightly. He also saw it was early. 5AM to be exact.

The others were no doubt asleep at this time. He breathes in and then out in relief, but he can’t stay long. He had to sneak back to not raise suspicion that he wasn’t home.

He slides off the hammock, heading to the gaping hole. He pokes his head out and to his surprise, he saw Ronin standing on the edge of the roof, overlooking the street with his arms crossed comfortably.

He must’ve heard movement as he turns around and gazed up at Adriaen with a tiny smile. “Morning sleeping beauty.” He lightly teases, watching Adriaen jump out and stroll towards him. “How long have you been awake?” The black masked mutant inquired, “Not long. I probably woke up a few minutes earlier before you did.” He assures, returning his gaze to the quiet city.

”You should head back before those guys notice you’re gone.”

Adriaen blinks and nods, right he didn’t have time to chit chat right now. He turns away to run off but stops when Ronin called out to him.

”Oh and Adri?”

“Huh? Yeah…?”

Ronin looks over his shoulder, giving a rare but genuine smile, the sun shimmering down on him.

”Thank you.”

Adriaen nods in understanding as he continued on his way, jumping off the rooftop as Ronin sighs and rolls his shoulders to wake himself up more.

Zane

Zane was one of my first OCS. He lives in the world of Undermask as a warrior for the King. He has four wonderful comrades which have the order to protect the underground from humans entering and attacking the underground. That is until Zane begins to realize that even children get targeted by his peers and things get out of hand.

Summary:

After a terrible incident the monsters have decided to flee from the humans. They found shelter in Mt. Ebott. But the danger isn't over yet. Without a intact barrier the king formed a troop of five monsters to protect the entry on the surface.

Yet a small human still managed to find their way into the ruins.

How did they get there? And more importantly- will they get out of there again??

Guinevere

This sheep yokai is literally my comfort character. In her clan it's common to have special eyes. A black eye which allows you to read the past of someone by looking at them. And a white eye which allows you to see the future of someone. In Guineveres rare case she has both. That case switched her whole life up (for better or for worse).

Eventually she got summoned by the king. She was celebrated like a priest. Helping and assisting him in ruling the kingdom. Everything should have been great until one day. When she deemed the king's successor as a threat to the kingdom.

Gretel

Gretel is my crazy spider girl and prob my way of handling my phobia 😅 her hair is usually filled with webs and tiny spiders. Her spiders are like her family and she communicates with them. But on her bad days she also fights with them and sacrifices them. It's due to her mood swings that she has kind of crazy tendencies. Sometimes she is super sweet and caring and other times she is mischievous and destroys everything.

Lucinda

Betrayed by heaven Lucinda was forced to make a deal with a (quite good looking) demon to save her life. He took her with him to his home. A place filled with cruelty and hatred. Her kind soul obviously doesn't belong there. But maybe her doings can change hell for the better?

“Associated color?” Blue and white. Hikari is mainly associated with those two colors. Purple and yellow are also in there, but blue and white definitely make up the main palette ^^

“Favorite music genre?” Definitely indie rock, especially surf rock. Drawings Of Nothing by Archer Oh would probably be her favorite song, since it’s like. THE Hikari song in my brain

“Choice of weapon?” Hikari doesn’t really like to fight when it’s unnecessary. But she doesn’t use a weapon! She uses her magic to make big ol claws on her hands! She likes it since it feels natural. It’s an extension of her body, and she can get as up close and personal as she wants without really dealing with consequences, so she doesn’t mind!

“Are they crafty?” Vaguely? Not very much, though. She probably would if she spent more time alone, but since she’s always used to having others around, she doesn’t really get the chance to be super crafty.

“Usual wardrobe, practical or aesthetic focused?” Typically Hika would probably just wear her usual outfit or knight uniform, but if not she’d probably lean towards aesthetics. That’s not to say she doesn’t have cozy clothes! Sometimes she has a hard day and she just wants to curl up in the biggest, fluffiest sweater ever. ^^

“Hair?” VERY long and sleek blue hair. Usually she wears it tied in twintails, high twintails in her Xrd design and low twintails in her Strive design. It’s only really worn down when Nekomata takes over

“Favorite animal?” Now, you’d guess cat. After all, they’re not only a big part of her (locked away) past, but she also has cat ears and a tail! However, you must remember. She doesn’t give a fuck about herself. The only person she really does? Romeo. Her favorite animals are sheep.

“Nickname?” Not a real one, no. The most she has is Delilah calling her “big sis” at times and Romeo calling her an “insufferable cat”

“Favorite/least favorite food?” Dragonfruit is absolutely her favorite. She LOVES dragonfruit. As for least favorite.. Probably mutton, rock candy, or anything extremely bitter.

“Jewelry?” Not a ton? Unless you count her brooch and shackles on her strive design, which are made of a silvery metal, not really.

“How much are they like you?” Well, we’re both autistic, queer, love music, and vaguely depressed. So I’d probably get along pretty well with her.

“How long have they been around? Birthday?” Hikari is a very interesting case, to say the least. To start with the easy part, Hikari’s birthday is October 30th. I don’t remember why i decided that, it certainly wasn’t the day i made her, i think it just felt right. But as for how long she’s been alive… It’s complicated. Both physically and mentally, Hikari is in her late teens. 17-19 range. However, technically… She’s probably like in her 30s. This is because she died during the crusades as a teenager and she was brought back to life by the magical foci who fell in love with her and fused with her, turning her into an immortal yokai herself. She was actually alive in Baiken’s colony when it was around! I was thinking the attack that destroyed the colony and took Baiken’s arm and eye was the same one that killed Hikari at the time.

“How many languages can they speak?” 2! Hikari is fluent in both Japanese and English! She thinks it’s funny to annoy Romeo in Japanese since he can’t properly respond to it

“Good with numbers?” Vaguely? Her knowledge goes to like maybe beginning of algebra 1 and that’s it. She learned a lot from Romeo.

“What’s their family like?” Before their deaths, Hikari lived a quaint life in one of the Japanese colonies with her dad, older brother, and very abusive mom. They were all rather loving and didn’t mind Hikari’s differences and behavioral struggles (aside from the mom). After they all died, Hikari was revived, and her memories were erased, there was a long period of time where Hikari only had Bedman. He was all she knew. After his death, she was struck with deep grief. Grief that began to heal after she managed to meet Delilah. She sees Delilah, the bedframe, and Baiken to be the closest she has to having Romeo back at the current moment. She currently lives with them when she’s not working at the castle, and of course, Romeo joins their little household once he’s revived.

“Any pets?” Nope! She loves animals but never really had the chance to care for any pets.

“How did they spend their free time as a child?” Hikari loved nature before her death. Especially the forest and water. Whether it be running through the grass while calling out to singing birds, splashing in creeks with her brother, or accompanying her dad on fishing trips, she always wanted to be outside.

Sooo basically, he’s the manager of the casino at the Grand Nexus Hotel! It’s absolutely rigged but not by his hand, haha! People will get scammed there often, but the money mainly goes to Big Mama so it really doesn’t benefit him!

He’s actually a really nice guy but he just takes his job super seriously— he has to show his daughter a good work ethic and responsibility !!

The way I’m gonna answer the last question may be a bit cringe since he’s just an oc, but if he was in the show, I’d think he’d meet the turtles by one of them (probably Leo or maybe even Splinter?) getting into the casino and losing a game with no money to pay it off, so they have to keep betting and gambling and it just becomes a whole thing— after that, I’d say he’s quick to mess with and be really hostile around the turtle bros !
