hi idk if this page is still maintained considering sheith is kinda fizzled out by now (except me and maybe 5 other people lol..) but I’ve been using the alphabetical tag page to find different stories for probably 3 years now, and suddenly it’s gone? Is it under maintenance or ���.? I see there’s a mobile navigation which leads me to an alphabetical tag page, but it’s not the sectioned off page I’m used to seeing, each letter in its own block etc etc.

Thanks for bringing this to our notice! I corrected some settings and it should show up again. If the issue still persists let me know.

is jason isaacs kind of marius 🤔

YES and it's weird because I haven't nailed down the most Marious Jason Isaacs yet (I know a lot of people gravitate towards Mariusses that have horrible blonde wigs but I'm not one of those people) but there is SOMETHING about him that gets me all fucked up when I do see him? Like, not quite so normal as Holy-Shit-We're-Fucked Latin translator in Event Horizon, not as explicitly evil as Daddy-Issues-Villain in The Patriot, but idk. Man he's so hot in The Patriot even though that character is nothing like Marius like there's something subliminal in me that goes "yes daddy" and the evil just like oozes out of him in a way that feels so erotic to me :D

I think he has kind of a face type that feels like Marius to me, the way Michael Fassbender and Christopher Plummer have a Marius face, maybe it's that idk!!!

And there's something to be said about like, looking for little pieces & parts of characters anywhere you want, like, Marius is absolutely NOT the guy in The Patriot but because he's on the brain I can like, pick little moments, like, maybe he's also this fucked up about his dad, or maybe he uses this same little mannerism with his eyebrow, idk! When you're down bad for a character it's your job to Frankenstein together a huge collage of inspiration. Like, the cool confidence and an eyebrow quirk from a character who is nothing like him, and the warmth and wisdom from someone else who is also nothing like him, blah blah. I don't know if everyone crafts these weird collages in their brains or if it's a fic writer habit because like, I feel that everything I write is sort of a mashup of all my favorite shows and movies and songs at all times, I'm constantly thinking about stuff like this when I'm building a mental image and trying to decide.

SO YEAH JASON ISAACS IS ABSOLUTELY IN MY MARIUS STABLE BUT I CAN'T QUITE PICK A SINGLE ROLE TO POINT TO IF THAT MAKES SENSE. I have to rewatch his episodes of The West Wing to marinate LMAO. Maybe do a Jason Isaacs deep dive until I figure out the perfect Marius analog. But there's something here. LOL. (Also before anyone writes a callout, my group chats will probably roast me because every time I watch The Patriot I go have a meltdown about Marius LOL)

But ANWAY I had to peek at Event Horizon Jason Isaacs to marinate and found this silly cute video 😂

We need to bring back sheith scene redraws man…. New Shrio Loves You Baby redraws. People redrawing screen caps from The Black Paladins or Across The Universe….. All the soft looks that Shiro and Keith give each other….all celebrated by the fandom at once….even people writing meta and fics about such scenes……

Sheith fans are so passionate about their love for the ship (because Shiro and Keith are so passionate about each other) that I do think there could be enough excitement to bring people back for a fandom event like that.

The fandom suddenly gaining the same amount of activity it had while the show was airing would be very exciting to see again. Old and news fans coming together. To have people gushing about Sheith- talking about scenes and writing drabbles and drawings.

Resentment (Yanqing x reader platonic)

"I win again" you said with a relaxed smile on your face as you pointed your sword toward Yanqing. He sat on the ground, a frustrated frown on his face.

"Don't look so upset, you did good" you tried to reassure him when you noticed the expression on his face. You sheithed your sword and held out your hand to help him up. After a moment, he took your hand as you gently pulled him to his feet. Ever since the two of you were younger, both you and Yanqing had formed a friendly rivalry between you both.

"How do you keep winning?" He asked, still looking a bit upset. You smiled while placing a hand on your hip.

"Don't be discouraged Yanqing, you're getting there" you spoke in a comforting tone. The boy was silent for a moment as he brushed off the dirt from his clothes.

"Whatever...." The boy muttered under his breath before he walked away. You watched as he did so, feeling as if something was wrong.

Adrenaline coursed through your veins as you gripped your sword as tightly as you could. You silently cursed yourself for letting yourself get distracted. Blood dripped down your arm as you found yourself surrounded by monsters. Recalling the events that had gotten you to this point, you wondered how it had gotten this bad. You had been called to take care of some monsters that had attacked a group of citizens, you should have been fine, after all, you were a skilled fighter. However, all it took was for you to lose focus for a single moment and now you were injured. Your body was sore, and it was becoming harder to keep a grip on your sword. The monsters were able to see that as well as they approached you with their weapons raised, ready to strike. One of them brought their blade down toward you, ready to strike. With all your strength, you blocked the attack with your own blade, doing your best to keep yourself from getting any more injured than you already were. For a little bit, you were able to hold off the attack, but eventually, your sword was hit out of your hands, landing out of your reach. With no way to get it back, you now found yourself defenseless and surrounded by monsters. Once again, they prepared to strike.

With no way of dodging or blocking, you closed your eyes tightly, preparing for what was to come. However, nothing happened, you opened your eyes after a moment, eyes going wide when you saw Yanqing standing in front of you, blade in hand. You watched as he took down the monsters with seemingly little effort.

"Are you ok?" You were suddenly snapped from your thoughts by Yanqing kneeling down next to you. He examined, your injured arm with a frown on his face.

"I'll be fine" you reassured him with a smile on your face,

"you were amazing by the way" you told him as he helped you stand up, making sure to retrieve your weapon as well. Looking back at you, the boy smiled as the resentment he had been holding on melted away.
