Here we are at the last of my back logged posts I needed to make!

I'm now in the dlc post game as the teal mask main story is done now. This means I can go catch the loyal 3 now!

I was SR'ing okidogi for a jolly/adamant nature with 31s in hp, atk and speed and hopefully no decent defenses or 0 speed, I got the mon I wanted on the 13th SR.

In my excitement of getting this mon earlier then I thought, I did not get a vid of this shiny mon who was waiting right behind me! I literally turned around after my catch and there was a golden compass!

This is the 17th shiny, 10th random encounter and the 5th shiny of the teal mask dlc, it's also my first ever shiny nosepass ever it seems!

So now I have little other side quests to complete before it's truly done. which means more shinies from this dlc, so stay tuned!

So are there upped shiny odds in The Teal Mask dlc? I've seen a few posts thus far talking about how quickly folks found shiny Pokemon or how frequently compared to the base game.

I'm one of them. This is all in one day of playing.

I wasn't hunting at all and yet I got 4 random ass shiny critters in the same day. Not complaining - literally the opposite - but is there some coding explanation or something? Can we expect similar odds in the second part of the dlc?
