YEAH!!! Sorry. Yes. I'm of two minds between Towa mermaid theory which I think is fun as hell and then Shion Mermaid Theory which I think is most likely.

Names in TD tend to be puns or descriptive in some way or another (Mr. Towa 'Without Sound' Otonashi and Mr. Ritsu 'Law' Shinjo') and Shion's is 玄海シオン

玄海 - Probably taken from Genkai Quasi-National Park (玄海国定公園) which is a little coastal sea area BUT is also comprised of 'mysterious' and 'sea' which. that's mermaid to me.

シオン - Probably taken from this nice lil flower (aster, but specifically Tartarian aster.) It has usage in Chinese herbology for like, antibacterial things and is one of the '50 fundamental herbs' in Chinese herbology. It has a fun meaning in hanakotoba but that's probably irrelevant so shruuugs. The name also has different meanings depending on kanji as always but since it's rendered in katakana those are also probably irrelevant!

Plus we know Shion is connected to Haru and Haru currently has his debts so... tl;dr Shion? Probably mermaid

That is interesting! I guess the mermaid Haru's worried about could be a ghoul, probably from his previous house? Or a demon disguised as just a mermaid. . .?

I'd think maybe the immediate healing could be Rui but he just relieves discomfort so probably not?
