4. what's a rare fear that you have?

e.p. says people with arachnophobia don't typically also have a fear of bugs, if that counts. i'm gonna look up a list of rare fears and see if i have any of them. i might honestly have nomophobia because my starter trauma had something to do with trusting someone with my phone and being away from it for long enough. (thanks mom.) another one i have to an extent is optophobia? there have been concerns with how much i like being in the dark because i genuinely kind of fear light in that it lets me see more. this is inherently rooted in extreme dysphoria. depending on how bad it used to get, i would go through some of my day completely with my eyes closed. i had a lot of my previous rooms and bathrooms memorized by body first (which i'm good at doing, so. cool skill). another slight rare fear i've developed in line with this is eisoptrophobia. which has also been a concern, but asa looks at enough mirrors for the both of us anyways.

17. do you want any tattoos? if so, where, what, and why?

by default, no because i'm a pussy and i think it would hurt too much for too long to get anything cool ;; i'd have to settle for the pure outlines ones. BUT at the very same time, if something became really important to me i feel like it could easily escalate to a point where i'd want a tattoo of it. in this case, i feel like i'd pick one of my arms / shoulder areas / back, kind of. or my forearm. my arms are very important to me.

31. if you could know one thing about the future what do you wanna know?

i don't like thinking about the future in the same way some people don't like thinking about their issues. i don't like that it might be there in the first place. (i'm working on it. i'm at bargaining right now.) so if i EVER asked ANYTHING about the future, i'd have to indulge myself in something fun. did i fulfill some kind of prophecy / instinctual need and actually get with someone who's like asa long term. did i do it. because i assume i get more bitches, that's just obvious, but how... suspiciously similar... are they... to asa.

62. whats your least favorite game?

OH yes i do have an answer for this. hyperbeard, you cannot keep getting away with releasing games like pocket love and adorable home, i swear to fucking god. this is coming from a former fan of theirs, because i used to be in love with chichens (gorgeous artstyle, so cute), and i spent a lot of time playing both kleptocats as a cat obsessed child. but their "life sim" games or whatever are so FUCKING boring and empty to me. if i could take the minutes back that i spent wasting my time trying those games, i would not be as pissed off, but i asked myself once "what can you do in these games? it looks like there's so many options!" and i made a mistake. 1) nothing. you can do nothing, 2) you're being fooled, every option they show in those screenshots are the ONLY things you can choose in the games. i'm aware that i think they may be idle games, but i never liked idle games much anyways.

obey me is very lucky those two games exist, because otherwise that one would be on the chopping block. i swore off otome games as a whole genre because of that one. no, rather, i got warned appropriately because of that one. i should be grateful.

92. what trends did you hate?

good question. i don't hate trends that much i don't think, because if it wasn't well liked and cool and fun, then there's probably countless commentary youtubers already covering it plus interesting debates rising from it that i could spend time pondering over where i stood. which is genuinely a hobby of mine, this is why you'll never hear me condemn morally ambiguous or "problematic" media. i don't really like those who do. this is a very entp (the debater) thing to say.

anyway. i will say there are trends that annoy me; one i CAN say i hate is the mouthwashing fandom and their censorship of jimmy. if i have to hear jimbalaya one more time, i'll crash another ship for them. the sanitizing of anything people deem "too much of a bad thing" even when it is in a HORROR MEDIA where it is the VOCAL POINT OF THE HORROR is disgusting. it's getting better now but it sure as hell ain't disappearing.

oh, which brings to mind the — what i called "bastardization" but might not be — of the original backrooms horror. the whole point is that, because of a tiny mistake you made or because you stood wrong or moved slightly wrong, you were sent to infinite sensory hell to go insane by yourself for the rest of your life. people adding the monster ruined it for me. the point is is that it's calm at first. but you'll start to forget what it's like to have anything else. you'll start to think "really? just because of random chance? no, that's not right," you'll start to think "what if there's something round the corner?" you'll start feeling watched when no one's there, you'll wish there was something else, you'll wish you were dead already. you'll never die when you want to. you'll have to WAIT until you die, and you'll never go back to your life, and you'll die never knowing what happened to you. even saying this now terrifies me. adding the monster there just made it "ooh cornmaze monster horror time"

one last one that's much less annoying is just titles on crack asmr videos where it'll just go something along the lines of "boyfriend/girlfriend ____ and FUCKING DIES" because typically they try to overblow what tragedy happens in the title itself plus they have to specifically "fucking die" at the end which is a little repetitive, could be funnier, gives off the energy of "if i scream louder it's funnier" which is just what it looks like to me specifically because i've definitely done those types of jokes before and had to live with myself after making them.

Everyone expects different things of me, and to do that I have to stretch myself to be as fickle and capricious as this very labyrinth, just to avoid the truth; I am nothing without those I survey.

I think the reason I love writing Colin, Jamie, and Isaac so much is because they’re all absolute peak specimens of British lads born in the mid-late 90s. Like just knowing these boys grew up obsessed with shows where 50% of the content was people getting gunged means so much to me. They all had an intense Top Gear phase as pre-teens. Nando’s was the #1 spot for first dates in secondary school. Jamie used to spend all his pocket money in primary school at the Woolworths pick and mix. Isaac was his school’s reigning Bogies champion. The Raven made Colin realise he was gay.
