Bon, n'étant pas très mobile, difficile de créer des posts avec de nouvelles photos. Je reviens donc à mon projet de présenter l'intégralité de mes photos, projet interrompu à l'année 2017. Je vais donc essayer de clore cette année 2017.

Ici le bassin amazonien (sur la 1 et la 3 on voit des Arowanas argentés , sur la 4 un Silure-Requin) et pour les 2 dernières, l'impressionnante reconstitution d'un poste de pilotage d'un cargo en pleine tempête

I find it interesting that over time, Luffy began to clearly divide the people around him into his own and others'.

The East Blue saga is different from all the others, so we don't take it into account, but the rest of the major arcs are fundamentally similar to each other and the main similarity is that there is always some character of the location who will interact with the crew.

so, the first such character is Vivi, and, in fact, everything goes as usual: acquaintance, a request for help, the way to the villain of the arc, a fight, and everyone is happy, BUT Vivi is literally the only character of the location who was accepted by the Mugiwaras into the team as an equal member (even in the pauses in the middle of the episodes, she stood among them) and who later did not become a member of the team, but retained this connection.

neither Luffy nor the rest of the team showed such willingness to accept a location character into the team, no matter how close they got (neither Connis, nor Rebecca, nor Yamato, although the situations were quite similar)

my take: Mugiwaras and Luffy in particular began to grow up long before water 7 and timeskip, this process began after the first big adventure on the grand line

Hike along the River Wye with friends the other day. Wasn't as long as we'd have liked but had fun. We did go into Chepstow Castle, but I'd left my phone in the car, so no photos, unfortunately. (I'll get some next time I'm there—I hail from a nearby town, so I'm down that way a few times a year).

Titus is a Centurion trying to escape his past, and Petronius is a nymph trying to keep his head down and his friends safe. Neither really succeed, of course, but at least they get to kiss about it asdfgh

The genus Silurian ("Person of the Silures", in reference to the historical territory of Wales in which they were first found) was initially known only from a single fossil, notable in part for the unusual object fossilized alongside it (1). Though this was generally accepted to simply be a large petrified stick, the "Silurian Artifact" and the associated "Silurian Hypothesis" were often a point of discussion in the topic of dinosaur intelligence and the theory of pre-human civilizations. It wasn't until large-scale mining operations began to impede on their extensive networks of stasis chambers that the Silurians themselves finally woke up and were able to meet humankind in person. To the surprise of many (and dismay of a few) the Silurians were not the scaled, humanoid "dinosauroids" so often depicted, but colorful, feathered, and relatively goose-shaped. Most Silurians who were present in the planet's underground represent the gentry and high ranking military, who were given priority in the earth-based shelters. Most others were evacuated on large, extensive spaceships, all of which are yet to return to Earth. Due to this, the varied mindsets and cultures of the Silurians are in shambles at best, largely replaced by the speciesism and real estate concerns of the upper classes. Wordplay Wednesday: Silurian

The name Silurian comes from the Silures tribe of southeast Wales. They were a Celtic tribe that had shared a northern border with the Ordovices tribe (yes, the tribe the Ordovician Period was named after). The people were described as looking closer to the Celtic tribes on the Iberian Peninsula than on the rest of Breton. It is possible that they had migrated there before Rome had conquered the island.

The word Silures might have come from the root word “silo” meaning “seed” and might have meant “kindred stock”.

my name is a two parter.

Siluri is a take on the name of the celtic tribe that lived in the area of Wales im from - the Silures. It has nothing to do with Dr Who, who famously also filmed in that same area of Wales and i think named the alien race after the same celtic tribe. Ive also had a variation on this as part of my online presence for decades, where it was used as part of sakara siluria for my alt modelling days.

Sanguine - is another name for blood. It's also a type of personality which i've been told i have. I also took this name when i started writing fanfic again, which was heavily Vampyr related so...also thematic. But the broader term still works.

so combined it kinda means celtic blood, which is pretty accurate for me.
