#twisted wonderland #twisted wonderland spoilers #HORSE #he looks like silver made a wish on a breyer horse model to bring it to life. i love him SO much.#he leaps through fire without a trace of fear! not a singed hair in his fancy little braid!#i got him on my second 10-pull!! so i got to experience the samson reveal in REAL TIME and it was glorious #though i'm still pouty that the club cards don't get stories >:(#i require three full episodes of silver taking better care of that horse than he does himself #he has ten different hoof picks and a three-hour mane and tail routine #an array of complementary accessories depending on the angle the light is sparkling off of his coat in the morning #sebek from halfway across the planet: MY HORSE IS STILL PRETTIER #can't wait for the eventual tempest reveal. i gotta see this extremely cool horse.

I am 100% completely convinced that on Mount Yujun when Hua Cheng burst into thousands of butterflies that he did not mean to do that. That man was freaking out so bad at finally finding Xie Lian again and holding his hand and helping him and Xie Lian being right there that when he finally saw just the slightest glimpse of Xie Lian’s face and the thought of Xie Lian seeing him that his nerves took over and he burst into thousands of butterflies. All throughout the walk, Hua Cheng was trying his damnedest to keep it the fuck together (literally) but he just couldn’t anymore. You cannot convince me otherwise. He held Xie Lian’s hand all through the walk, but then he shakes Xie Lian’s hand off the next time they meet? Yeah, he’s scared he’s gonna explode into butterflies again and that would Not Be Cool and Ruin His Image he’s curating for Xie Lian as this cool reliable guy he can come to for help and depend on.

something very funny about the fact that Silver isn't aware of the narrative enough to know that 'darkness' also represents internalised homophobia. he thinks it just means rage.

so Silver is like "I'm afraid of getting too close to Flint because I'll be dragged into the depths of his desires. he awakens some dark urge within me that feels really good but I know it should be shameful." thinking that it's like secret fourth dimension evil powers and not just.. gay thoughts

#men will literally convince themselves that they're doomed by some cosmic evil force rather than accept their bisexuality. smh #I could write a proper meta post about this and maybe I will one day. cos it's so interesting how Silver just doesn’t quite get it #he doesn’t understand how the rage Flint felt over losing Thomas is any different to the rage he felt over losing Madi. that it's not just #grief over a loved one. it's shame about his fundamental identity. that 'darkness' comes from the shadows cast by shame #and Flint tries to tell him that if he conforms to civilisation and marries Madi then 'she will no longer be enough for you and the comfort #will grow stale. gosh though. this event has been SO cute in general! I was wondering who'd get the focus for year 5; I could not be happier that the answer is apparently EVERYBODY. :D all the dorms get their own special songs! so many cute little scenes!!! the lowest of stakes bringing out the highest of pettiness in everyone!!!!!! it's excellent.

(also, because I will make literally anything about my diaboys...I know these events are typically sorta, let's say chronologically unmoored with regards to story. but the further implications that this takes place pre-episode 7/Malleus' Big Existential Crisis, and yet...some of these lines?)
