got some things to say to some old best friends of mine. i know you guys probably arent out there, but this seems like the right thing to do.

Alex - you did the right thing man, you really did. im glad you guys got to survive, that you got to get your old self back. im not upset, it was save me and watch the world burn, or save the world and lose me in the process, and im glad you chose what you did. i always wanted to say not to mourn me, but to live in my honor or something, and maybe you caught that when it happened, nectar crap and all. feels silly to say now that im back up and kicking, but, you know. it was a nice way to go out. thank you. and, uh. sorry that i kissed you in that church and then we just never talked about it again. bigger fish to fry and all that.

Heya, skibidi sigmas!

I promised you guys some headcanons on an earlier post and new artwork of my escape from furnace oc Maria and canon character Simon, so here you go! Not all of it may be accurate since I’m only near the end of Death Sentence, so stick with me now. I just made these so I can flesh out some sibling and family dynamics :P (edit)

MARIA:

She’s a hardcore juggalette at heart, mostly wearing ICP shirts she painted designs on plain shirts. She’ll wear the clown makeup sometimes when her parents aren’t around and once won a contest in 1st place of who could drink the most Faygo in one sitting. 

When coffee isn’t making her energized in less than twenty minutes, she’ll eat straight-up coffee beans from the jar. Maria would probably vomit them out an hour later, but still lasts for another three hours before she faints on her bed. This poor girl is living off caffeine and two hours of sleep 💔

She’s been mistaken as a Mexican for her features and her surname, so she learned Spanish just to enjoy the fun of making people confused of her heritage.

When I tell you this girl has the loudest laugh known to man, I mean LOUD. She mainly keeps a stern demeanor, but will crack up if she sees someone trip or say something funny. She has a whole scroll of different laughs. Narwhales, car engine, squeaky door, wheezing, any animal or object you think of, she’ll probably laugh like that exact thing.

She’s street smarts and academic smarts, but is ASS at navigation. Sometime during Solitary, she somehow ran the wrong way and headed to the screening room while running to the infirmary with Simon, Alex, and Zee to grab the climbing gear to escape. Though, this does have some good points to her ability of thinking outside the box. For an instance, she’ll find an escape route on accident or a weapon that could be of use.

An extremely flexible person. Need to get through a narrow tunnel? No problem, she’ll twist her torso at an impossible angle and fit herself through. Handstand, backflip, back bends, gymnastic stunts, and kicking from high angles are on the table. Double jointed as well. 

Whenever she robs empty stores with her brothers or Simon individually, she will only grab the nearest band shirts and cds. Especially metal.

Back when Monty was still alive and friends with Maria, they used Morse code to communicate with each other through the vents when they had different jobs in the morning. When they DID have the same jobs, they would quickly work together to get their work done and then goof around for a while until it was time to hit the showers. Laundry? They would use the empty baskets and place each other in there. Mining? They’d start a rock throwing fight. The stink? Probably gonna throw their brushes at each other. The kitchen? They’re gonna start a food fight. Those two were practically inseparable; but, let’s be honest, nothing lasts forever.

Complete nerd in the Spiderman universe. She was able to bond with Zee easily with her love for Star Wars, too.

The left half of a red heart necklace she wears sometimes is from her best friend Savannah, who committed suicide in 7th grade and had nothing but her matching necklace to have a memory of her.

MARIA AND SIMON:

I enjoy the hc of Simon being an athlete and having scholarships in wrestling and boxing, so I can imagine Maria going to every single one of his matches and giving him a big hug afterwards as a gesture or congratulations.

Ever since they reunited in Solitary, Maria insisted on not going anywhere without him. She isn’t constantly on Simon but she does make sure he isn’t hurt or feels threatened by any obstacles in their way. Don’t get me wrong, she was still enraged and upset at him for disappearing for so long, but she soon came to understand the situation at hand and slowly became more gentle towards him.

Whenever they wanted food or wanted to go out somewhere, Simon and Maria would wake up the next day at THREE in the morning and prepare a whole buffet of breakfast for their mama to have in bed (their dad was the one who cooked most of it, Maria just put out a makeshift table for her and Simon poured the orange juice) and when nanay got suspicious the baby siblings started begging in unison until she said yes.

Maria always had her hair done by Simon when she was back in primary/elementary school. It all started when her dad was already gone for work and her mom was off to get gasoline for her car, and it was her first day of Kindergarten. She was panicking and rushing since her mom always did her hair and had no idea what to do. It was Simon’s first day of second grade and he noticed his baby sister crashing out, helping her by putting her hair in four ponytails, each one in different sections. When she looked in the mirror, she started crying uncontrollably. For the whole school day and for 2 weeks she kept crying about it. I like to hc that Simon probably still has that photo of Maria’s hair that day somewhere.

Despite the 2 year age gap, they look eerily similar, only with different heights and different genders. Whenever their mom or dad needed one of them, they always yelled out the wrong name. Simon and Maria took this as an advantage to mess with them and use it as opportunity to prank family and friends, like saying the same things and flipping someone off in unison. Even worse, laughing in sync.

Just like how Maria goes to his wrestling matches, Simon went to all of her orchestra concerts. He’ll probably start fangirl screaming when her viola solo came on and give her a big hug after the concert as well or maybe a headlock.

Whenever their mom was busy with work and dad was on a business trip, they would sneak out at night and go to the nearest Jollibee’s possible, Maria using her allowance from doing all of the dishes for the past two weeks to pay for it and Simon having to practically wrestle her just for a piece of food when there wasn’t enough money to eat for the both of them.

As they grew older and Simon started robbing empty stores with his friends instead of his siblings, he had to pay Maria half of his allowance just so she wouldn’t tell their parents. Maria would ask for extra if he came home after the time he promised to come back, ending up with a pinch on the ear or a curse from Simon.

They have the CRAZIEST hear me outs. Maria said Dr. Ock once and Simon went ballistic, laughing his ass off. When Simon said Pluto from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Maria suffocated him with a pillow.

They gossiped together on the way home about their school drama since they went to different schools and couldn’t see each other as much 💔
