for the Munday meme: what’s your least favorite genre to rp / write about?

i think group events with a tight deadline or too many rules; doubly so if the participants or runners seem hard to reach, interaction or plot wise. If the event warrants a friendly and open atmosphere, I prefer that. I don't really wanna put in the work for nothing, unless it seems fitting. (thing feels like a birthday party when it's a more public event kinda thing.)

something that's not so much a genre as a writing trope; when one character is expected to have zero narrative power. this can happen with horror, torture, rushed ships/sex, or IC arguments. they want either your muse to shut up so that they 'win', or they shut up theirs out of laziness/impatience and expect a full response.

slutshaming, even implicitly through sfw means; it's a great way for misogyny and polyphobia to sneak its way into a mun's habits; attempting to gloat, scold, or humiliate a muse for simply having a crush; it's mean, and I'd be fine if it were *treated* as such! Typically or traditionally, the muse with feelings is expected to take the burden of 'behaving' or keeping a secret, while a nice answer to the feelings isn't always as pressured. It is in fact possible to navigate things gracefully, which is something I haven't seen much of. At the same time, if you want your muse to be a dick about how they hand out a rejection, by all means, but they're not like, morally superior for being the liked one, the taken one, the oblivious one, etc. and can be called out for it, too.

also like, there's 'darkfic' style topics that i don't write here not out of disliking it, but i can't trust people to protect themselves and behave, so i disallow it and don't bother.
