RHYDIAN — just based on his insanely high passive perception I’d say he is a pretty light sleeper. he always be peeping an eye open to make sure he doesn’t need to actually wake up and deal with whatever caught his attention

AZALEA — vibe checking her right now and saying she can sleep anywhere and always does so in the most ridiculous positions. limbs sprawled out everywhere at odd angles. height of grace right here.

MAIZAKEEN — girly is an elf so she be trancing msotly but I imagine she has a little ritual before she starts her lil meditation. she does breathing exercises and runs through little mantras in her head (a habit started to calm her thoughts and try to get all the ghostly voices to settle)

RHYDIAN — I just had the realization that his brother wesley might have been the first human he had ever met which is wild! little rhydian; “why do your ears look like that?” dad’s like “you can’t just ask that buddy” and mama is snickering in the corner.

AZALEA — I think in the period of reconnecting with all the siblings she tries to subtly suss out what kind of gifts to get them all cause she wants to show some appreciation and she isn’t the best with her words when it comes to deep emotions

MAIZAKEEN — her mom hasn’t been in the picture for a while but I’ve been thinking about her using her familiar to watch a little maisie from the other room. the image of her staring into a raven’s eyes like “I’m stepping out of the room if she gets into anything you screech into our telepathic bond.”

RHYDIAN — oh baby! rhydian has been lurking since he could walk. little guy just following his parents everywhere stuck to them like glue. I’m just seeing a montage of him watching and learning quietly just soaking up that quality time.

AZALEA — when she was little she probs had a tendency to get big bursts of emotions, usually anger at the world/things she could not control, and I can see her big brother aydin letting her wrestle him to get all that emotion out

MAIZAKEEN — every time I remember this girl was twelve when she accidentally walked into barovia i go Insane! those first few years after baby girl was terrified to go to bed and had to have her father sit with her and read her stories to distract from all the ghosts and voices

RHYDIAN — boyo loves cooking and def helps leo out when he goes all out for the team. he wants to branch out so the traveling has helped in trying new foods and learning new dishes to cook. just leo’s lil sous chef uwu

AZALEA — growing up in baldur’s gate she soon got tired of fish and can’t stand it please keep it away from her at all costs (have to give at least on of my ocs an ick about seafood)

MAIZAKEEN — little rich girl had every meal ever prepared for her and still has yet to cook anything herself. and then she started travelling and just buys food so like the cooking skills are at an absolute zero. I do think she’d be good at it and would enjoy it immensely once she has the means to start practicing.

Thinking about it, the Homestuck (I think some other fandoms at least tried it too around the same time?) shipping olympics from like 2012 on here could NOT be done today for anything because it was mostly teenagers and young adults having fun rivalry-focused digital sports basically where there was no real prize or appeal of potentially garnering clout outside the small circle of participants or a ship's fanbase, more just collaboratively throwing their ship out art there against each other on 2010s internet and social media before everything mutated into what it is today

Like yeah it was obviously flawed because more experienced or popular artists would be prioritized, there were friend circles on teams affecting dynamics, and of course some people were being vitriolic about the ship wars (I remember the early 2010s j*hnkat vs j*hndave war....), but I feel like the... colder, industry feel of fandom of things nowadays with fanworks would taint it horribly like it has zines where people expect all high production and 50+ pages long with physical merch from the most popular artists within a fandom and would suck the fun out, and being on a team would be unattainable for anyone not a huge artist. We all know of at least a few zines that crashed an burned because of poor mod management, we'd just see that again. It would be zines 2.0 but it would get the chronically online people behaving like that kid who was frothing at the mouth enraged in gym class when you played dodgeball, except it's over fanart of blorbos done for fun rivalry reasons

there would also be about 3 attempted homicides, 5 different callouts, and 10+ doxxings if someone tried to do it today
