The things so far that I've put together that makes it clear to me that Armand and Louis were still in a 24/7 D/s relationship in Dubai:

The fact that in 1x02, instead of saying a simple yes or no when Daniel asked if Armand and Louis were together, Armand took it in a completely different direction, saying "I serve a god. It is my honor to serve."

In 1x05, when Armand was getting sassy with Daniel about the fact that Daniel was doing the interview, Louis said sternly that Armand was choosing to share his opinion despite the fact that it was "unsolicited". And Armand in response lowered his eyes, even though he wasn't facing Louis. Then Louis told Daniel about Armand's diet, and offered Armand's blood to him, without bothering to ask how Armand would feel about it. And when Armand began to get sassy with Daniel again, Louis simply interrupted him, scolding him without actually scolding him. And, while Armand looked salty about it, he still fell silent and didn't speak again. Louis then proceeded to discuss Armand's body and routine with Daniel as if Armand wasn't even there, and then possessively called Armand "My Rashid", in a low purr.

In 2x05, when Louis was talking to Daniel about their lives in Paris, he said that he and Armand had established their "proper roles", indicating that those were roles they still inhabited, otherwise he wouldn't have called them their "proper roles".

And of course there were the whips that we NEVER GOT TO SEE(istfg I'll stop being bitter about that one day, really):

Ok so I have come across a problem in my wonderful Bat-Potter Au (working on a title) sooo should I have just Dick, the three/four batboys or everyone.

'cause I like the dynamics that could happen with each option, but it would affect age and how it would happen.

timeline is trash in the dcu so them all existing in the 90's could happen. bats would just really ahead of his time if everyone's involved.

So far, I've come up with the idea that Bat's on a mission in England one his rouges is being extremely stupid, and they did something, somehow went to Surrey which is completely believable because Harry is just bad luck good luck personified sometimes. so batsy's shows up stops that harry is out and about running around because the D's couldn't care less and the big bat sees him asks him where family is. some explanations petunia is defensive because 'no mister weird bat boy we do take care of him he just dramatic go away'

Bats is a detective works some stuff out -Bla-Bla don't have details yet- and takes in the runty looking black-haired boy like he has done before.

chaos ensues where harry now -after a bit because we need angst in the middle of that but i don't know what flavor- has a bunch of accidental magic mishaps in his amazing American school or around Gotham and everyone just thinks some minor villain is messing with them and then bat is like 'holy shit this kid is a meta' and goes to find a league member to help this kid with his powers because he needs training now thank you very much.

Dumbledore shows up at some point because he gets alerted that harry hasn't been seen in a while and panics thinking death eaters somehow got him (Which could happen in the books ngl nothing prevents that.) and goes to find him in a manor with a few other kids just happy, he thinks about taking harry back because 'the power of family' and Bruce threatens to sue him for child endangerment -worse if harry is in Hogwarts when he gets picked up or Dumbledore showed up after- (He's a hypocrite but I love him)

I think he would a good relationship with most of them after a while but harry is a bit quiet an introverted so he would probably only hang around bats and who ever seeks him out themselves.

I don't think he should be a vigilantly just yet, but he does get the same training. mostly because there are only so many super names that i can think of and sparrow doesn't really make sense in context.

Bats would be extremely protective if Jason is already dead which I think if the three batboys are around would happen before his 2nd or 3rd year he might show back up in 4th or 5th for thematic reasons 'omg Voldemort was resurrected, shit so was my brother.'

should the girls be involved? I don't know much about Cass and Steph and Babs' cannon is weird sometimes, like sometimes Shes young sometimes Shes around bats age so idk.

They would show up during the tournament and maybe before so Bruce and/maybe tim could look at the legalities of the contract which they can't really dispute since they have no clue of the consequences except maybe Azkaban and dementors suck. like they're still giving harry Choclate after his 3rd year bad.

Harry would invite Ron over i think, like Bruce would pay to have a room just for floo travel so harry friends could come by from time to time. Ron would be jealous a bit but would still be run understanding.

Hermione would be trying to read every rare book Bruce has in collection and would constantly ask everyone questions about their lives.

Snape would still hate Harry only harry would be in Slytherin-because tbh I like S!Harry and Bruce would say something about how any traits that let you be a good detective or whatever were a good thing- so he doesn't really look at him and ignores him as often as possible. Harry is a silly guy and after hanging around the bat simply thinks that snape is cool and mysterious and is now his favorite teacher teach simply because he reminds him of a bat.

Harry like to dress in dark clothes and reads whatever he comes across if there happens to be darks arts in there oh well its not like he'll use them (he will) this is basically canon he immediately goes for the dark's arts Bruce does not care depending on age Jason would kinda proud.

Question for you: How do you think a one-on-one convo between madwheeler pre-s4 would go from Mike's pov?--like how do you think he would treat/talk with Max, who's isolating herself/depressed? Because I've seen a lot of fics with that premise, but it always seems to be them only talking about their relationships (whether it be Byler or Mileven in Mike's case, or Lumax with Max. Which I don't have an issue with, it's just not always the main focus I want on Madwheeler), but rather how Mike perceives Max post s-4. Sorry if this is rambly and doesn't make sense, I'm struggling with getting in Mike's head, and you're obviously very good at interpreting his character.

answer for you: according to the one (1) season 4 episode where max and mike were both in hawkins, the dynamics with max and the party pre-s4 seem to be as follows:

lucas chases after her at school and tries to get her to talk about her feelings and/or go to his basketball games. she's not into it, but she listens to the games on the radio at home anyway

dustin chases after her at school and tries to get her to hang out with the group (hellfire) (max doesn't seem to like eddie) (it's a d&d group - a game she had no interest in before she lost all capability to care about the things she previously enjoyed). she's not into it, makes fun of him for missing her sarcasm, and skates away

and mike, instead of doing any of that and making her feel cornered (or worse, pitied) when high school is already bad enough, leaves her the hell alone.

some people (non-madwheeler understanders) would think that means that mike just doesn't care or their friendship isn't Like That. those people would be incorrect. bothering each other and cheering each other up while they're in the Mental Health Trenches is what max and mike do. just look at the skateboard scene

madwheeler always have their Friendship Moments when no one else is around. the gym scene, the conversation in the byers kitchen, when mike called max's house and nobody else could hear both sides, when max radioed mike at the sauna, watching el get a coke can out of the bin together, after they both got knocked out by billy. it's a very private friendship, so playing into the "there's more here than meets the eye" concept and having them possibly share things with each other that they otherwise wouldn't share with anyone makes a lot of cohesive sense - even if it's just in a "distracts you from The Horrors until you blurt it out in a fit of annoyance" way, like what happened when max first heard about el from mike

people just think it's all fighting because that's all they see, but even that is always in an attempt to make each other better. and it always works eventually (although if we're being technical, the dynamic is max trying to make mike better, while mike tries to keep max safe). mike wouldn't fight with max when she's depressed though, i believe that's only a yearly occasion for the single week we jump back into these people's lives when tensions are high as a kite. if he was around during season 4 he would have fought with max over her willingness to self sacrifice (you know, like a hypocrite)

simply put, mike doesn't push because he gets it, which is exactly why max tolerates him more than the other two - she pushed through the crowd to stand next to mike at the pep rally while she ran away from the others when they seeked her out later - and might even open up a little. s2 mike and s4 max, both dealing with the trauma of witnessing a death (where the person's last words were directed at them) and feeling responsible for it while the world moves on and nobody else seems to care, are the same. mike knows that max doesn't want to hang out like everything's normal or talk about her feelings and admit that it's not. especially not with lucas, who has plenty of reasons to hate billy, and max is selfless enough to not want to add her own messiness into it. max's mother's distance would resonate with mike too

the thing about mike interacting with any of his friends is that he's the most persistent person who's ever lived. he called el every day for a year; he probably did the same for will after the byers moved; he wouldn't stop radioing lucas in season 1 until he answered; he would not shut up about trying to get in contact with dustin in season 3. mike doesn't give up. what this means for max, is that once he's sure she won't mind him being there (and even if she does, a little bit, but that might just be the Performatively Hating Each Other part before they get back to enjoying each other's company, so he's gonna stick it out regardless), he'd kinda just... be there. and continue to be there. they might talk, they might not, but he knows that it sucks to be alone like this and he's not gonna let that happen to max if he can help it

this last bit is kind of just a headcanon of mine, but i like to imagine that if mike ever searched for an Activity that max actually enjoyed (dustin's got the right idea, but at the same time the wrong idea), he would try to bug her into teaching him how to skateboard. their conversation in the gym was heading in that direction before el interrupted, so there's the connection to the Mental Health Trenches and implicitly returning the favour of that kindness and moment of connection (even though mike really wasn't doing great pre-s4 either, but whatever), and something about the "bambi on ice" line in lenora makes me think it could be something max said to him when he fell over once

My Beautiful Man and the BDSM Element Episode Two

I am specifically doing this for particulars mutuals. My Beautiful Man speaks to me and who I am in a way that few shows do. Because of that, I wanted to break this down and hopefully expose the beauty of this show. An important thing to note, usually in kink elements such as this, there is a large amount of communication beforehand. However, these are kids who just fell into these roles. That's an important thing to realize because it's part of the miscommunication. It also explains the evolution of the different types of submission and Dominancy they partake in. Honestly, this is kind of how mine and my husband's relationship evolved, so perhaps that's another reason for why it touches me.

The beginning of the episode has hira realizing these feelings he has are love. Hira enjoys knowing he is the only one that truly knows Kiyoi. Then he is upset at the thought that he is the only one that views their secret as special.

Luckily Kiyoi says that they will use hira's home to hang out. Because hira lives alone. It was not a suggestion, it was a command.

At hira's house, you can see that Hira goes into servitude mode. This isn't asked of him, this is something he wants to do. He gets fulfillment from caring for his Dominant. Hira brings Kiyoi ginger ale because he knows he likes it, he didn't need any thanks before lifting up and smiling.

The pack are the ones who bother me. Kiyoi isn't bullying. He's just expressing his attraction the way that he feels comfortable. Which seems unusual for those who aren't Dominant but it resonates so much for me. The pack though are bullies.

Hira takes the moment to enjoy that Kiyoi is in his house. Guess who follows him, his King. This is also the moment that Kiyoi truly understands their dynamic. Because he asks hira if he has told anyone about the dancing and hira says no. Kiyoi wants to know why and hira simply states "you told me not to." You can literally watch the contemplating that's going on in Kiyoi's head at this knowledge.

Kiyoi says he needs a photo for the contest. Hira goes to offer and then he remembers his punishment. Kiyoi saying no more photos, so he says never mind. "All these things I cannot say, that I keep to myself" In an established D/s relationship, there is open communication. However, if you're naturally drawn to this dynamic at a young age, there is fumbling to learn that.

"Kiyoi is the only one I feel this way about"

"Kiyoi is someone special after all"

Do you see how hira talks in comparison to Kiyoi's very commanding way of talking. How there is almost a balance in its differences. Kiyoi "Wouldn't you ask why I'm here" "pedal" Hira says he'll go alone to which Kiyoi says "No! You won't!" Often times you can tell a Dominant from how blunt and commanding their language is. Most submissives can tell that I'm Dominant just from how I talk. It does take paying attention because most of us can still ask a question with a command or be charming while commanding. Kiyoi however, is not one of those Dominants.

"I want to be invisible" "You are a strange guy"

And the degrading begins to change and evolve. He's beginning to use it to show his affection. This is pretty normal degrading for Doms who struggle with expressing themselves. Then Kiyoi commands Hira peddle with all his might to escape the police. 😂😂😂 Hira yells out, sorry sorry. He doesn't like biking away from the police but the thought of not following Kiyoi's command is even worse for him.

Hira is doing everything he can to be extremely submissive in this scene. He suggest Kiyoi go to dance practice and then warns him about a sunburn. Kiyoi isn't listening though and will not leave hira. Kiyoi has been attempting to shorten the space between them. While he is still Dominant he doesn't want that distance from hira.

This is honestly one of my favorite parts because Kiyoi calls hira out on always watching him. Hira unabashedly says "You're beautiful, Kiyoi-Kun" The smile that Kiyoi give's hira then "there you go again, your really are creepy" but he says it, all while smiling. "I know"

"One more thing, stop calling me kun, hearing a guy call me kun makes my skin crawl"

Basically, -kun is a suffix which can be used for younger people, but can also be used for age-mates you're close but not that close with. It's a 'respect' thing in that it's basic politeness, but it's also something that you can drop altogether if you're close enough with someone. Depends on who/when it's being used, though. One: He's protesting against a guy using -kun because he's protesting the politeness level, which would make sense if he's a more 'casual', laidback guy

Two: Girls of a similar age would call a guy -kun, but especially using a cutesy tone if they found the guy attractive. If he's not interested in girls (and potentially swarmed by them), that could explain it.

Or three: He's inviting that the suffix be dropped to invite a closer relationship, more intimacy, or similar... but being a tsundere little shit about it.

"Call me Kiyoi" "I can't" "Then stop looking at me"

Kiyoi tells hira to always have ginger ale. Again closing the intimacy gap while still maintaining Dominance. If only hira wasn't stuck so far in submission he can't see.

Spirit Companionship Journal Entry #21: Spiritual Partnerships

I'll never have enough information on this subject. I get hundreds of questions each month regarding it. I've been in a spiritual partnership for about 5 years with my long time partner "D" and about 4 years with my vampiric partner "M".

I'm going to start from the beginning here because often people see spiritual lovers differently. There's usually 3 categories... or a mix of the three.

Category 1: The romantic partner - Forms slowly through bonding and both partners are open to each other. its like entering a relationship with any other being. both parties confess - it then happens.

Category 2: The sexual partnership - difficult for those beginning, but still done. This isnt always emotional but can be a working relationship as well. sometimes this relationship starts off sexual then slowly becomes romantic.

Category 3: The working relationship - Im unsure if anyone knows but in historical accounts, the witch often had a lover who helped her in her magical endeavours - most times they've been described as being "Horned" with cloven hooves or simply in the guise of men.

My relationship with D was arranged through other means - I won't divulge but we were both paired together and a relationship grew. In terms of M it was different - he was first to start communicating with me and he kept coming back - eventually we both caught feelings. He was very persistent. He did later confess to me that he hung around because he was romantically interested yet was unsure of my feelings at the time.

So how does it work? the usual things:

In my personal recollection, its difficult... however you learn different ways and adapt. On date nights we might all enjoy an activity on astral or we may choose to spend individual time with each other.

One night of the year we have a large "anniversary" type night - D and I are married, however I still do this with M as well so he doesn't feel left out. we do this on seperate days. their birthdays are celebrated separately as well.

M and D both have a space next to my bedside. They both share a sort of shelf each of a tiny drawer set up. their gifts are placed there as well as libations etc. they do take turns in being there at bedtime or sometimes i will go to astral first before drifting off to sleep. M likes to stroke my hair as he's more of the affectionate one.

communication patterns are higher than normal companionships - we talk every day - sometimes they come with me for errands depending on time. they do randomly drop in to check on me.

sexual encounters are taken in turns and high communication is kept - there were jealousy issues beginning at the start of the relationship with M - D was not to keen on the idea that M would be involved on a romantic level with me, but we all managed to find common ground.

about 2 years ago a decision was made that D and I would have an astral child together - we made sure to discuss this with M first and that he was ok with this. fast forward- everyone takes turns looking after F.

Boundaries:

I believe boundaries are important in any relationship, however they are extra important in spiritual partnerships as much can go sideways and get quite chaotic. There are rules and wishes followed and we all do our best to stick to those rules. some of the rules are as follows:

Clear communication - we have to speak up if we are uncomfortable with something.

Everyone gets alone time with the other partner.

If you would like to bring another partner into the relationship - it's discussed and taken slowly. everyone meets each other.

understand that I am human and I do have my basic needs - eating, sleeping etc. (M stresses if I don't eat but he is also nocturnal a good portion of the time).

Family meetings each month (this includes our son as well because M is his father as well and we all take turns caring for him). The family meetings we discuss anything that is bothering us, any changes in dynamic of care of F and also happenings around the home with other spirits - we do allow entry to our home of store spirits so they share the house temporarily with us in their own space of the house.

Sexual activity - always asked about first. D has been keen on more children (it's not the only way to have astral children). however I believe that we're not at that point yet. Usually the partner not involved takes care of F if we are needing alone time. F stays with his other dad during the period.

Anidala. I have gained an honest appreciation for them just through my own journey of getting to know Padme as a writer. Much as Obi-Wan's relationship with Anakin is intrinsic to my understanding of him as a character, so is Padme's love for Anakin. If I'm going to write obidala in any universe, the first question I ask myself is how do I address the 'Anakin of it all'. So in wanting to handle them as respectfully as possible in my own writing, in a way that feels authentic to the character I really, really wish I enjoyed Anidala as a standalone ship more. I have gained a lot of insight into both Obi-Wan and Anakin and added layers to my versions of both characters through my capacity enjoy Obikin. There are some truly great writers out there for them who constantly challenge me to think about their dynamic from new angles. I am dead certain there are equally talented writers for Anidala and I could learn a lot about both characters if I enjoyed standalone fic for them more.

Unfortunately, I think the problem is I'm not sure that the things I love about Padme are the things Anakin loves about Padme and vis versa. As a result I must content myself with the great fic out there in the OT3 realm and the discourse I see on tumblr to help challenge, inform and layer my own understanding of them as couple.

May I direct your attention to the 30k+ of headcanon I am subjecting all of you to in the form of fic?

Honest to god, that's all 'A Trap of Your Own Making' is. Just me and my little personal headcanon attempting to bob and weave through the minefield of the SW universe.

On a more general note a few head canons that commonly show up as I shape story ideas anytime I'm working with these two:

Padme had some type of crush on Obi-Wan pre-Anakin. I play with the intensity and the duration depending on the story, and context.

Obi-Wan and Padme had/have a friendship/relationship that existed separate from Anakin. Again the timing of this relationship, context, and intensity moves a little. But I take it as canon, that both of them hold each other in a regard that stands separate an apart from simply being Anakin's Master/Brother/Best Friend; and Anakin's Crush/Lover/Not So Secret Wife

As a result of that relationship, Obi-Wan developed feelings for Padme that at the very least walked right up to the line of platonic. Whether and when he acknowledged those feelings (if ever). What he did or would have done as a result. And whether they were ever reciprocated entirely flexible. But really, let's be honest he would have done nothing. He would have lied to himself forever.

But since I'm guessing with 'prompts optional' piece, what you were really asking for was a fic excerpt, right? Okay, since Trap is just all my obidala headcanons shoved in one fic. Here we go, very rough cut of the opening section of Chapter 6 of Trap. Under the cut for "spoilers"

It take three days for the panel hearing the case against Gunray to return a verdict of guilty, and less than two hours for his advocates to file notice appeal. Padme struggles to maintain her composure as she listens to the Republic prosecutors explain that given circumstances Gunray will likely be released on his own recognizance while the appeal progresses through the courts.

Finally, her anger gets the better of her and she stands, cutting off the senior prosecutor mid-sentence.

"Well it seems this exercise has proved entirely pointless. Tell me gentlemen, what precisely is the point of having a law of the Republic if one may by virtue of having a sufficient number of credits, continue to avoid the exercise of those laws indefinitely?"

Doesn't bother staying to hear their answer. There's nothing they could say anyhow.

On their way out, she instructs Corde to see to their departure within the day. Anakin returned planet-side the day after the defense rested. Obi-Wan's been unavailable ever since, and she finds Coruscant has lost much of its luster in his absence.

There's nothing for her here anymore.

She forces herself to wait until they have at least left the surface before finally giving into the impulse to comm him. Holds her breath waiting for the signal to connect, and tries not to read to much into it when the link is declined.

He warned her she would never be the priority. She can hardly fault him for the fact this proves true.

There's a message waiting for her when she returns from reviewing the recommendations from her advisors regarding what Gunray's appeal means for Naboo's ongoing dealings with the Trade Federation going forward.

I heard. I'm so sorry.

She cries when she reads it. Locks herself in her cabin, puts her back against the door and sobs. Screams. Rages. Let's herself feel it all for the first time in years. Let's herself be weak with it, irrational about it, because for the first time in forever she feels like she can.

And it's so stupid. Because it's nothing really. Just words. Just five simple words. Probably dashed off with barely thought. Five, simple, stupid, wonderful words that mean there's someone out there who cares about nothing more complicated or consequential than how she's doing. Not the intricacies or the implications. Not the fallout or response. Not Naboo, or even Amidala, really. Just her. Just Padme.

Which makes it everything.

Wait - what's wrong with a/b/o?

There is nothing wrong with writing or reading it, but it is simply not my cup of tea.

I’m gonna put the rest under the cut. 

There are way to many things I find disturbing in the genre for me to be able to suspend my belief and enjoy it:

Consent is too often circumvented by "animal instincts"

It often reads as heteronormativity, but like a very medieval version of a heterosexual relationship

I'm not a fan of any kind of determinism

The particular sex described in these fics simply doesn't appeal to me most of the time

The power dynamics is not interesting enough (I do like well-written D/s fics, but the negotiation and the psychology of the power exchange element is what makes those fics interesting to me - in a/b/o fics this is often missing)

In the end, it often feels like the "omega" is just a very misogynistic portrayal of a woman, using a male character who is often stripped of their full characterization

mpreg is a tag I will never touch for personal reasons and squicks/triggers

I want to add that possibly fics that explore this kind of world in a way where the characters fight prejudices and determinism can be interesting, but too often they have just led to the final succumbing of biological roles.

In the TDBKTD fandom, there is in addition the issue where lately Shouto is almost always portrayed as an omega, who has a hard time coming to terms with it / understanding his own biology. I find for a character whose character-defining history is never having AGENCY in his childhood and struggling with identity, to be pushed into a trope where his identity and role is decided by forces he cannot fight and no choice in very unrelatable.

I do understand the appeal of wanting Bakugou to pamper Shouto and give him the world - but I find it much more gripping if it’s something both characters arrive to out of their own free will and choice and not because of base instincts.

I am sure there is something people get out of this genre, since it is so popular even if it is not personally for me. This is why I have included a couple of a/b/o fics in the library, if I trust the writer or when I trust the person's taste who I saw recommend it.

Buckle up because this is going to be quite a long one this time around they were all pretty long posts until now but humour me x)

Mikana

1. For Mikana, spending time with Sakore, her sister and Nox, pretty much her adopted sibling, is the closest feeling to home. When she is with them, darkness, light and all her problems disappeared and she puts all her attention on them.

2. Genderbend Mikana is... Pretty much just Mikana lmao. He is has aloof and friendly. However, in this men form, you can much clearly see Lea's impact on her design ahaha. He name would maybe something like Miko ?

3. Mikana is the oldest kh character i created. She was created around the end of 2019, start of 2020. i got really invested in kh quick late compared to most,,, Really i first created her because i was, and still am, a big fan of Lea. You can see the inspiration i took from his design from her side hair and bang lmao.

Mikana, like all the character i draw, soon took a life of her own. The more i drew and imagined scenarios with her, the more her personality constructed itself without me realizing it (she is aloof, level-headed, family oriented). I truly build most of it throught an AU of mine named "Magical AU". Her clothing style which is really 70/80's s still on of the thing i like the most about her.

The khocweek2020 also helped a lot (pass time, family ties, short terms and long term goals,...) !

Sika

1. Eventually in the story, Sika just kinda absorb into the sea salt trio household. She lives with them like the others kids and is just like a sister for them all. However, even in this next found home found family go brrrr she has some difficulties waking up in the morning.

2. Sika as a boy would just be her sweet self as always. This design ended up turning out much softer and sweet than what I anticipated but I kinda love it. When I was thinking about names, I couldn't really think of much only Soka came to mind at first and that's just a ATLA character lmao so I just kept Sika. I think it's neutral enough to fit a male or female character :D

3. Sika is a special case to say the least. At first, she was one of my fiction character. I never published it anywhere but it was 45 pages long of slice of life of her living in Twilight Town and being Lea and Isa friend,,, Again, herpersonnality build herself up without me thinking much about it (she is bubbly, kind, responsible, ressourceful). But what's truly different about it was that i had her personnality BEFORE i created her appearance. It's really rare for me to do that.

HOWEVER i wasn't satisfied. My writing was too confused... So i scraped all 45 pages of writing i did. i had a hard time doing so because it represented DAYS of work for nothing. I started everything from the beginning. It was then that i truly integrated Orion and Erid properly into the story and created Master Ivi. Some keypoint are still the same but i changed the story quite a lot.

Bunny and Anis

1. Truly, Anis and Bunny always felt at home whenever they were with each other. This feeling extended to their significant other and close friends as they grew older. Whatever the house, what make them feel home is having the people taht matter to them by their side.

2. Bunny and Anis were REALLY a headache to do. Since they are identical twins I feared their genderbend would just look like any another. However, I quickly realized I could use their controsting personalities to my advantage. Bunny genderbend looks like a quiet and successful uncle while Anis genderbend looks like this fun but a bit unhinged aunt you love.

Their names would be Anise for Anis and Hare for Bunny,,,

3. At the beginning, Bunny was simply my Khux player character. I didn't do much art or think much about her or her story. Funnily enough, this is last year khocweek that truly made me flesh her out ! Without it, Bunny would most likely stayed a surface level character. Her name was also mostly a joke but ended up really like it.

When it comes to personality, she mostly have the player personality from KHux and follow the same story. Well except for the final sacrifice (Anis took on this part x)).

Anis was created not too long after last year khocweek. I was simply playing around with the male dressing interface, creating a sort of genderbend of Bunny and... Got attached to the character lmao. With his name, i stayed in the food related realm really i tend to mostly name my character after food... .

His peronnality was mostly created based on the dynamic energic and calm character have. Since Bunny is a very calm and silent person, having a twin brother loud and energetic could make out for funny and ridiculous situation. I really like the dynamic.

Pêche

1. I have yet to decide a definite end to Pêche's story. Their story is yet to find the comfort in hurt/comfort in the current state of her fanfic x) However I can vaguely imagine that someday, they would be have healed enough to trust the guardians of light.

2. Genderbend Pêche was really hard for me. Like some might have guessed Pêche's goes with neutral pronouns and have a generally androgyne appearance : the biggest reason is that I get the impression Pêche doesn't identify as anything. They are there suffering but hey they will have help and slowly heal from all the bad things they experienced. So I just altered their body shape a bit and cut their hair ?

3. Pêche wasn't a really serious character at first. For one, she was a fiction character and more importantly a sort of punching ball character. When i felt bad, i wrote her and felt better. But soon enough my brain started to really like her and from there, i couldn't help but fleshed her out. She needed a coherent story. Well coherent doesn't mean simple for me x) her story is a beautiful mess to understand.

Also i wanted to think about some kind of writing prompt i had : What if Xehanort had a student ? Eraqus as some but Xehanort never explicetly said he never had any so my brain went brrrrr ; What or when did Xehanort truly descended into darkness ? The old men is so intense in the game but Eraqus still think of him as good until he dies ??? It means Xehanort was at least okay for a bunch of time then, right ???? ; What if Xehanort succeded in completing a heart ? lmao this one made available so much angst i couldn't pass it,,,

So this is the end of my khocweek. Even with all my preparation I still had to rush the last few drawnings ahah. Anyways I had such a sweets and good week! I rarely have the occasion of talking about my ocs to strangers and have actual reactions. Interactions I get from the khocweek make my heart warms up 🥺 I thanks all the khocweek team and all the other talented participants from the bottom of my hearts 💜💜 I hope to be there next year and see some familiar ocs again 👀

i see a lot of 'd needs to learn to say no.' the issue w/ that is it presumes he never does. which dismisses a lot. there's a reason why no album is out, why m became so desperate & spiteful, why his team has to manipulate so much, & often get so little out of it. IMO, he clearly does say no. the question is context. what happens, when it appears he could refuse, or should, but doesn't or can't. and we can only make educated guesses about why that is. 1/2

2/2 I think a lot to has to do w/ the complicated power dynamics of his situation, and how they can shift, even within a single event, based on various things. ************************Anon. I don't think anyone would disagree. I am one of Darren's biggest advocates and I defend him constantly. I agree. I know he has said "no" a lot. More than we know. One of my favorite IG likes of Chris', which I can't find, said something to the effect of "the most important battles won are those behind closed doors." I believe that to be true and I think Chris and Darren have won many of those battles. And I'm confident they will win the war. Darren's career choices are a perfect example. I can't imagine it went over well when Darren announced to his team that Hedwig was the chosen project post Glee. And after that participating in Gross Indecency. And now filming a ACS where he plays a gay serial killer that had a penchant for porn and S&M. I think he is strong and I have called him brave on multiple occasions. On the stunts and games. I hate them but I understand that they are necessary. But sometimes they are too much. My issue with last night is twofold. First. Simply. They are going to break him. The pace he is running at is not healthy. And his career is the most important thing here. He can't be filming this difficult role and out promoting her every night. But more importantly. His image and character need to be nurtured and protected. If there was a video of me chugging beer through a hole in the can. My clients would take issue. This is the same idea. And again, it is not the engaging in the behavior. I am a person who more than enjoys a good beverage. But allowing it to be filmed and posted on the internet. That's forever. And it looks childish and immature and it's the opposite of the image he should be cultivating as he moves forward in his career. Bringing him down to her level helps absolutely no one. Including her. This being said. I'm fully aware why it happened. He didn't look excited or pleased. He looked like protecting his clothes was a priority. I understand he was coerced by his horrific manager and toxic beard. I guess I just worry. A lot. I don't like seeing what they are doing to him. It's hurting his image. It could impact his performance. It's harmful to his health. And it's emotionally damaging. I did love the picture with Matt. Darren pointing obviously at his beard. Ring proudly on display. That's Darren talking. When does LBL video come out? She's had years of promotion. Please let this be done soon. It's time for the power to firmly shift back to Darren. Permanently.

D/s Dynamics in Episode 9 of I Will Knock You-Thi's Point of View

This is the second week of collaborating with @lutawolf on examining the D/s relationship between Thi and Noey. She's taking Noey's pov while I'm taking Thi's.

The first part I'll focus on is Thi's reaction to Noey's attitude about Phayu in the morning. He's clearly a little embarrassed by Noey's possessiveness, but he doesn't say anything. And when Noey threatens to hit Thi if he sees Thi go anywhere with Phayu, Thi clearly takes what Noey said seriously, but he doesn't protest even slightly. He pouts the tiniest bit, but he's entirely accepting Noey's authority. Just like when Noey threatened to hurt him if Thi didn't get on his bike back in ep 6. Thi very easily could have gone back upstairs and locked the door. But he didn't. He scurried to get his helmet and came right back down. He consistently accepts Noey's authority. He's almost always some degree of sulky or resistant, but he'll do as he's told. And if he truly doesn't want to do something, he's capable of letting Noey know, and Noey backs down.

Thi has gotten more obedient in general, though. He felt submissive to Noey from the start(side note I rewatched the first couple of episodes and jfc do they react to each other the way a feral Dom and timid yet needy sub do), but the longer they've known each other, the more Thi has seen that Noey, while not always the most mature, has Thi's best interests at heart. That kind of faith inspires obedience from Thi. Even if your Dom is scary, you know that they'll never hurt you in a way you can't handle. They're always protecting you, however strict they happen to be. Thi's trust in Noey was very apparent this episode.

One of things I truly loved about their dynamic in ep 9 is the fact that the way they positively influence each other was strongly on display. Noey, despite his admittedly childish reaction to Phayu, was overall calmer and less aggressive towards those around him. He was helpful, and polite. Thi was much braver and more outspoken. Especially with Noey. Some might assume that this means that their D/s dynamic is diminishing, but it's not. It's simply growing into something much more stable. Thi knows that he can make a joke about smacking or spanking Noey and that Noey won't get angry. That he can be a little demanding, like when he refused to go downstairs to meet Noey after getting off the phone with his mother, gesturing for Noey to come upstairs.

Regardless, he's obedient. He didn't go off alone with Phayu after he was forbidden to, he stayed in bed after he was ordered to, he didn't argue when Noey said that he didn't consider Thi his senior, because he planned to make Thi his boyfriend. Despite the fact that they were surrounded by people.

Also the way they spoke to each other at the end of the episode was a great demonstration of how comfortable they've grown with each other. Thi made playful jokes like he was the Dom, and Noey, even though he laughed, made it clear that he was the one in charge, saying that Thi was "under" him. Thi smiled at that and ducked his head. Noey added that Thi shouldn't forget how tough Noey is just because Noey's been soft and sweet. I think Noey wanted to make it clear that his sweetness towards Thi did not change the fact that he was in charge. And Thi didn't fight him on this even slightly.

Honestly, I just love how much they adore each other. What they have isn't easy for most people to understand, as evidenced by the way so many characters looked sideways at their relationship in this ep. And I think that reaction had a lot more to do with Noey's treatment of Thi than the age difference. His behavior could very easily be misinterpreted as abuse. But it's not. It's what they both want and need, and the mutual understanding of that between each other increases with every episode. In this one, the romantic love was at the forefront, because Noey has that old fashioned vibe that he's cultivated, and wants to court Thi.

He also feels like he needs to prove to Thi that he's worthy of him, which is honestly an excellent Dom move. Noey knows that he needs to grow up, understands that there are ways in which he's immature. And he knows that if he remains that way, he's never going to be able to take care of Thi the way Thi needs. And he truly, truly wants to be a good Dom and a good faen. I think it'll be a few years before either of them can put words to the kink dynamic they have, but for all their inexperience, they're doing an excellent job at navigating their kink dynamic with no outside help. They were so natural and so much more comfortable with each other in this episode. Their relationship has continued to improve as time has passed, and I think they have a bright future.

Soft D/s Element of Not Me Episode 5

So we start off with White finding Namo on his side of the bed. We can see right off that he isn't okay with this. I've expressed in previous posts that it is pretty clear that White has feelings for Sean. He appears to be pretty possessive. When Black watches Sean put his pants on, he bites his lip hard. He is not happy. We then see him bump into Sean hard. He wants him to know he is angry.

Now, Let's talk about Sean and Namo. She stated that Sean doesn't need to take her home, she got a taxi. Sean asks why but he isn't pushy. This is clearly not a D/s relationship. It's not exactly equal because there is still some bossing from Sean but again, it's like how he is with Yok.

When Sean comes back into the room, we can see a very sad White. Yet he still tries to keep it calm by simply saying "that was quick." It's like he reflected and realized he had no right. Then Sean pushes the issue and White expresses his feelings. Sean doesn't understand where Black is coming from. That's his room and bed. Subs aren't door mats though and White isn't backing down. He stands up and while not in Sean's face, he isn't backing down. However, Sean pushes at "Black" asking why he is being possessive. White pushes Sean back, this is the Black Sean knows, the fighting Black.

However, when he tussles with "Black" the way they would have. "Black" doesn't react the way he normally does. He reacts not so much with anger but with hurt. He didn't punch Sean, instead he looks close to tears. Further leaving Sean confused.

The next scene is them meeting at the garage. They are doing stretches and Sean tells Yok to help Gram. Sean then makes his way to "Black." You can't tell me this would be normal usually because we've already established that both Black and Sean don't like each other. In fact, try to avoid each other. Yet Sean grabs "Black" and commands him, helping him stretch. Sean commands "Black" twice with no argument from him.

"Bravery and Fear, I think these two things are the complete opposite." "However, they can't remain apart." "We can't be brave without fear." "But being brave with no fear is like and explosive with no target" "The look from someone who's overcome his fair surprisingly warms my heart" "In that moment, I realize he's the bravery, I must be the fear" "So that what we hope to achieve can be accomplished"

What this means isn't so much that they are polar opposites but that their dynamic is. However, for them there is a harmony and balance to it that can make them better.

"Sean's plan. It must be full of determination as well as the risk of failure." "I trust him to be the leader this time" "I hope that one day he will listen to me and trust me as well"

A D/s relationship is an imbalance power structure. The submissive willingly gives up trust and power to the Dominant. That doesn't necessarily mean that they don't want to be heard though and they do want trust back.

Sean tells Gumpa that Black is acting really weird. Gumpa who is very aware that Black isn't who he says he is. Tells Sean that Sean is acting weird too. Paying attention to Black when he used to ignore him. Tells him that they have both changed. "If you feel like something is changing and it isn't you, then it must be Black."

This is the episode in which we finally start to see a dynamic between Dan and Yok. It isn't a D/s relationship though. There very much is a give and take of the power balance.

Yok looks for Dan. Sneaks up on him and surprises him, "Gotcha." Dan does a once over of Yok, including looking at his lips. Yok smiles at this but then Dan comes to his senses and runs. Yok chases. When the cops show up though, Dan protects Yok. They have a back in forth, neither gaining the upper hand. Then Dan punches Yok to make an escape completely unaware that Yok can pick pocket.
