My work schedule is about to get hectic (my job rescinded wfh) so my sims posts are about to be more sporadic cause I won’t have as much time to play the game. I do have a small queue for this week but after that I’m not sure how much I’ll be posting of my story. I’ll try to stay active on here but I’ll be waking up at 4am every day and the last thing I’ll probably want is to look at a screen. Pray for me y’all lol

This is me about to get sentimental for a sec...I woke up to slightly over 5,000 followers on here and I just wanted to take the time to say how truly grateful I am to each and everyone one of you who have supported me and shown me love on my posts throughout the years. This community is truly unmatched when it comes to support and I wanted to make sure to let y'all know that I don't take it for granted and that I am truly grateful for it. LIFE UPDATE:

Happy Sunday everyone!

I just wanted to hop on here and give a quick update of why I’ve been a little bit MIA because I miss interacting with you all. Life’s been extremely crazy for me this last month. Not only has my work/life balance changed, but I recently received some not so great news about my dad that’s been a mindfuck to navigate. Playing sims is how I de-stress so I would love to get back to doing that soon. I might be posting here and there but it’s not going to be anywhere near as much as I used to. As always, thanks for all the support simmers.

I’m tying to prep for Laïa & Zuri’s wedding but I’m not finding a venue that fits them for Oasis Springs so that means I’m gonna have to whip out my limited building skills & build it myself. But here’s what I’m going for.

My game has been a hot mess for the last two weeks (even before the update) but I think I’ve finally fixed it. (A big one was removing weerbesu Invite Any Guest Mod.) So hopefully I’ll get back to posting and interacting again. I miss playing but one thing about the sims is that when you experience a bug/glitch it’s so hard to get any momentum or motivation to play again.

Opening my game up for the first time in over two weeks. (It’s also the first time that I’ve felt better after getting Covid for the first time.) I’m so excited to play even if I don’t take screenshots of anything. I’m so weirdly attached to this game lol

I’VE TRIED TO PLAY MY GAME FOR TWO DAYS NOW AND EVERY TIME I OPEN UP CAS AND EXIT IT EITHER CRASHES OR I GET STUCK ON A LOADING SCREEN…THIS GAME IS SO ANNOYING SOMETIMES! I JUST WANT TO PLAY 😭 I’M GONNA LOSE MY MIND!!!

Ok so I’m very boring so here are three random boring facts about me:

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before but I was born in Kenya and moved to Chicago when I was 5/8 (we went back and forth until permanently moving at 8).

My dream home is a house that’s near the mountains, a lake and surrounded by trees.

LOL this is dumb and I have never met anyone else with this fear cause it’s hard to explain but I’m scared of google maps or satellite pictures of earth or any planet for that matter. I can look at pictures or video no problem. Literally my screensaver is a satellite image of Earth. The issue is when the picture or video starts zooming in on earth or whatever planet. Best guess is that I experience extreme vertigo. So no planetarium or telescopes for me.

It was my birthday on Sunday so I took a little mini break from tumblr and sims but I’m so excited to get back on with new posts…I also see there’s some drama w/ the pack & update so yay to me having to update all my mods. Thanks for the B-DAY present EA.

I kind of want to do a sim dump as a thank you for all the love and followers i've gotten in the last couple of months. I truly appreciate it and wanna show it back. I haven't shared most of my sims that I've made and maybe I'll share them more to see if anyone is interested. Anyway just some thoughts.

Got the dreaded auto aging bug that happens when you switch households and now I can’t turn aging back on my legacy save file cause it auto ages every one when it’s on. Good thing is that I quit without saving so it didn’t kill any sims but it’s kinda putting me off gameplay.

I haven't been on simblr for a while and I missed it! If you see a mass of reblogs...don't mind me I'm just catching up. Also, for the wcif's in my inbox I didn't forget about you. I just haven't opened the game in almost two weeks so I'll get to them soon I promise. I'm sorry. I'll get back to posting soon too cause I miss it

Just finished watching the Bethann Hardison documentary & what a beautiful spirit she is. She’s a black women that I truly admire. As I’m getting older and settled into my 30s, I want to be more intentional with what I do and how I live. And what I love about women like Bethann is that they are comfortable in themselves and they’ve created a world that they’re so present in. How freeing and amazing is that? It’s also what I love about Tracee Ellis Ross. You just know she’s secure in who she is cause that’s how she carries herself. Plus the fashions are great! Anyway this was a long way to say if you like fashion or documentaries give it a watch.
