Forgot to explain this, yesterday I had no time besides work break 💔 but I had lots of ideas for yesterday’s OCtober piece. Still uploaded it on IG stories. (It's gone now lol.)

I present you day 15: darkness. The shadow jester was part of the prompt. These are some creatures iI created specifically for this with lore, they will be stuck as a WIP for now.

Time for day 7: "Yourself"! I guess I'm drawing myself twice in this OC_tober since #1 was my persona too haha I fucked up and made myself too cool in this. I am not this cool, but I am a stage tech for Broadway and the like, lighting being my specialty, so I wanted to include that part of my life in this [that I miss right now thanks to the pandemic ughhh]. Ignore the unplugged stage pin. The light is fueled by MAGIC OF COOL or something lmao I'm trying to be way more confident with my lines too now so hopefully this is gonna pay off in speed and accuracy down the line.

Colombine from Karakuri circus, because she, Pantalone, Arlequino and Francine ended up being my favs? Didn’t expect that, honestly.

And Ishuxa from ‘Koori mamono monogatari’, one of my fav mangas. He’s probs wearing that for Blood as a gift or something, who knows :D

Inktober 2 Urban Witch Wizard

I delayed with this because I couldn’t do anyting these past days. Here it’s the Sketchober (?) number 2. They’re Paul from Pokemon and Sai, his (fan)kid. Sai is one of the main characters from Children of Pokemon Masters  They’re bases in Lucius and Draco from HP. I though that for the Urban Witch it’ll fit the “Malfoy Style”. Idk, I just liked it.

Ah, the horror!

Firstly, if someone going to see a show of the Tour of Mythicality reads this, please, go to Link and give him a comforting hug and say we will love him even if his hair is silver, or if he decides to dye it blue.

You do you, Link - if you want to dye your hair, you should do it, but if you want to show your natural locks, it doesn't make you any less of a slightly immature almost 40-year-old familyman. It's the inside that counts the most. The hair is just the added salt and pepper to make things even tastier.

(At this point I have to point out that my natural hair color has quite a bit of silver in it, as it has had since I turned 27. Only, I dye it regularly every six weeks, because the green in my hair complements my green eyes.)

But, boy did I enjoy this biscuit - and I didn't even see the guys - so hair colour is completely trivial!

I love horror movies. I scream and jump off my seat for even the lamest of scares, but I still love them, especially if I have someone watching with me (as my brother knows, I will grab even his arm if necessary). I grew up watching the Dracula movies starring Christopher Lee (they were shown on tv here around 1986-87, so I was about 7 or 8 years old at the time. (My parents didn't know what parental guidance meant.) The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was actually banned in Finland until 1996, which is when I immediately went to see it in the movies (being a year too young for the rating - but I got in). No wonder it traumatized poor little Link!

I haven't seen It or Get out yet, but now that hhey were so highly recommended by R&L I need to see them. I loved Stranger Things. The Ring was an ok movie, although there are so many other amazingly scary Japanese horror movies, which I prefer. I loved the Grudge, both the original and the version with Sarah Michelle Gellar. I had to google the Conjuring and that is actually one I haven't seen. And Babadook scared the crap out of me - so much so that I haven't been able to rewatch it.

We don't really celebrate Halloween around here, but they do show horror films on tv around this time of year - and I convinced our art class instructor to have us carve pumpkins next week. I'm kind of looking forward to whatever Halloweeny stuff goes on on GMM this year. And I really hope they've added a ghost or a creepy dead girl to the end of this podcast's video. Maybe creeping behind their backs, like in that Sketchober video.

I really hope they do make a horror movie next. Only, the ultimate musical horror comedy has kind of already been made (I was screaming "the Rocky Horror Picture Show!" the whole time they talked about making a horror film together). Of course, R&L could make a country version of it... 😁

I just remembered I'm home alone, and it's dark outside. Listening to all this horror stuff may have been a mistake. I hope the sound I hear is just the wind...
