Soooo….This month is pretty wild & amazing, not least because I’m teaming up with 4 other Skillshare Top Teachers in a drawing challenge called “Bring Spring!”, to inspire you to learn something new, expand and develop your artistic skills & tools, and unleash your creativity! If you decide to participate, you’ll be creating 10 new beautiful pieces of art, connecting with other creatives, finding new followers & discovering new @Skillshare classes and teachers (though you don’t have to sign up for Skillshare to participate). To top it off we’ll be giving away 5 (yes FIVE!) one-year Skillshare premium memberships to 5 participants at the end of the challenge! :) The rules are pretty simple: 1. Follow all 5 organisers on Instagram @plushbrush @julia_henze @Irinatrzaskos @marienoellewurm @bearbellproductions 2. Repost this image on your Instagram feed 3. Post your artwork/designs using #BringSpring_challenge and #Skillshare_challenge (so we can find it) A few other things: - Create illustrations or patterns inspired by the 10 prompts. - Finish all the drawings & post them before May 1st! You can do the different prompts whenever you want during the challenge, but in order to be eligible for the prizes you have to finish & post them before May 1st. 9/10 - this is for the challenge prompt: Blooming Street . this "street" is under about 1.2 miles of skylights at the @mallofamerica. the mall contains about 30,000 plants, 400 trees, and they release ladybugs a few times a year to keep the ecosystem happy. just this month, kids helped release 75,000 ladybugs on the plants in @nickelodeonuniverse 🐞🐞🌳🌴🌿🎢🎡 . i've modified my drawing a bit to focus on the 'blooming' plant life - i've left out the blue fence in front of the flowers, and went back to a previous (Camp Snoopy) paint job on the swing ride... 😉 .
