Donovan sets his and Eri's backpacks down by the door, and pops his back. "I know for a fact that Flannery would love seeing you guys again." Eri runs over to her Squirtle themed backpack, fishing out a notebook and running back over to Willow. Inside were rather crude drawings of what she saw during her own trip, a Ho-oh perched on a mountain's peak, a Lugia with a baby, her papa and a Mew....and one with Eri standing next to a strange orange and blue Pokemon. "Yeah, it's like the house gets smaller and smaller ya know? But I wouldn't want to change a thing." On the topic of school, Donovan rubs his chin. "Flannery and I have talked about sending Eri to Xavier's Academy. Right now I'm homeschooling her with Mewtwo's help, but I'm not sure. The whole time zone thing would destroy her sleep schedule." He listens as Ashe explains everything, impressed at how thorough she is about this. "Not bad, Grandcrest. I'm impressed. But if it's all the same to you, I'd like to start tomorrow. Give Eri and Willow some time to catch up and play, ya know?" Donovan walks over to Far-Seer, gently scratching his chin. "Yeah...I've had him for years. After I got back from the whole Team Rocket mess, I found him as a Natu. His future vision has saved my ass more times than I would like to admit. He has kids and grandkids, but he's still kickin'." His expression softens, not wanting to think about the inevitable. "He's getting slower, but that doesn't stop him." Far-Seer chirps softly, relaxing into Ashe's hand as he continues to stare out the window.

A huff of laughter escaped her. "Before ya know it, it'll feel more and more like home." She reminds him. She understood about a home feeling small, however. She had considered building onto the home they currently had. It would allow her to host guests if it came down to it. "No worries. We can hang out for the day. I'll show you some images we got of the Catacombs and what not."

Getting Willow to grab her bag, Ashe thanks her and mentions they're going to one of the main cabins to have a seat and sift through stuff, Willow grins widely over at Eri. "Let's go play over there!" She chirps, picking up her own Gengar backpack and running out the door. "C'mon Eri!" She squeaks. "Girls, be careful!" Ashe calls after them. "Kumiko, would you go after them please?" The Garchomp churrs and does as asked, quickly running to catch up with them.

With a moment, Ashe listens to Far Seer's story. "So he's an old boy, huh?" Lucky takes a moment to help her steady herself a bit more with his ribbons before both are heading out the door, Ashe only pausing to ask if Donovan could get her tablet. Once outside, Ashe takes her time rolling across the old, uneven stone paths towards the main work cabins.

"It'll be good to have Eri and Willow in the same school. They'll be able to spend more time together as friends. Maybe Eri can keep her out of trouble." She snickers. "Mom homeschooled me the last few years of high school. If there's any trouble, just give me a call."

The Dusk Ball chosen rocks slightly in Matsuba's hands before it's handed over. It continues to wobble excitedly until the button is pressed.

What escapes is a hefty Pumpkaboo, definitely spoiled before it was given over, and it presses up to its new trainer with a purring sound as it gets comfortable.

Receiving the text, Ashe can't help but smile. "Looks like we're going to have some visitors." She presses close to her husband, both in the kitchen preparing a large lunch for their family. "Oh? I'm looking forward to seeing them then." A smile forms on his features.

It isn't until later that a familiar sight appears in Lucky bolting at top speeds with the same energy Ashe usually had to skid to a halt in front of Eri, Donovan, and Flannery, reaching out his ribbons, waiting to greet each of them with one.

"Lucky!" A voice calls, revealing a Willow running towards them. "Wai-- Papa Donnie! Mama Flanna!" Excited and grinning, a few teeth being lost since her last time seeing her godparents, Willow is quick to run over, keen on greeting them... except she notices Eri and trips, landing on her belly. Of course, Willow is crying and Lucky is rushing over to help her up, using Heal Pulse to help dull the pain, one ribbon gently wrapping around her skinned up leg.

By now, Ashe had arrived, a mortified look in her eyes as she went over to tend to her daughter. "Mama's here. Mama's here." Ashe reassured as she holds her daughter and dries her tears. The usual spiel about how Willow shouldn't run and she had told her not to go on ahead was kept hush as she helped her daughter up, Lucky releasing his ribbons. Once Willow was standing, Ashe took a moment to smile wearily at Donovan and Flannery. "It's good to see you both. Sorry about this." Her eyes move to Eri for a moment, a brief look of surprise until finally its replaced with a soft smile. With that, once Willow begins talking, pulled from her hiccuping, Ashe returns her attention to her daughter.

"'m sor'y..." Ashe takes her daughter's hand once she stands up and her eyes soften at the apology. "It's alright, sunshine. Although I think we should properly greet our guests, mm?" Willow pulls herself from her crying to look at Eri and nod. "Mm." Ashe smiles then and beckons to the family to follow. "Leon's nearby. He wanted to make sure everything looked right for y'all. Kianga's asleep still, but he'll be waking up soon to head out." She holds Willow's hand as they head back, Lucky sweeping his ribbon around her other arm and walking with her as well.

Meeting new friends

Eri woke up this morning like any other. Mewtwo helped her get dressed, although Flannery used to do so. Mewtwo said she can't for now due to her being heavily pregnant. Papa Donnie made breakfast for everyone, before sitting down next to Eri. "So Eri, I was thinking about visiting some friends of ours. Do you wanna come with? I've been wanting to introduce them to you." Eri looks up at him with her bright red eyes. "Friends? Are they nice?" Donnie nods. "Yeah! Ashe and I go way back. And, she has a daughter a bit older than you! So I know you'll get along with Willow!" Eri's eyes begin to sparkle like gemstones. Her first friend? And they're her age! She nods so fast, her head is practically a blur. She finishes her food, and rushes off to get ready.

Donnie shoots Ashe a text that he's gonna be stopping by, and to get ready for a surprise.

Latet that afternoon, Donnie, Flannery and Eri step through a portal to the Ranch, and the little girl looks around in awe. "This is bigger than the backyard!" She almost runs off before Flannery gently takes her hand. "Please be careful sweetie. I can't exactly run after you anymore." She rubs her belly softly, smiling at her adopted daughter.

So many chances for the hell he was thrust into not to have transpired, but the worst eventually came to pass. And there is a universe, Fallenverse, where those mistakes weren't made, where things did turn out different, where Volo did have the chance to become the stable and happy person we all wish he could have been....And then it hardly mattered in the end, because that's the universe where almost everyone dies. Donovan was about to reply, but he raised his hands in surrender. "Look, I kinda panicked when Flannery went into labor. We're already letting people know Wyatt was born. Kris and Silver are visiting once we're done here, so if you guys want to meet him, you don't need an invitation." He takes her words to heart, having an idea about how things were for them and Willow...and he sighs. "I know, sis." He blushes when she brings up the idea of more kids, and he sheepishly laughs. "I-I mean, before we even adopted Eri, we talked of having at most three. So you might have another niece or nephew in the future." He steps inside after Ashe and the others, closing the door behind him. "Cozy." Eri wanders around the cabin, staring at the decorations and all of Ashe's stuff with a sense of wonder. Donovan folds his arms in front of his chest, thinking to himself. "I could've arranged for you to stay here longer, you know. I worked here for years, remember? I think I still have my original Unown Report in my study at home.." He brushes that thought aside for the time being, focusing on the equipment Ashe showed him. "Never could get the hang of a go-pro, but here's to learning, right?" He plucks a great ball from his belt, and out pops a Xatu. "While I borrow one of your Pokemon, I'll let you borrow one of mine. This is Far-Seer. Since Xatu can see the future, he'll act as an early warning system. Just in case, ya know?" Far-Seer doesn't even react to anything, teleporting to a window to stare up at the sun. ".....Yeah, I forgot they do that."

A smile spread over her features. "I definitely look forward to meeting him then." Glancing over at the kids, she noted Willow now bringing out a book of notes to show Eri on the Catacombs she had got in Kalos, leaving Ashe to focus on Donovan for a bit longer. "Hm! Three kids, huh? The more the merrier i'd say." Her smile still is there, only to fade a bit as she waves her hand dismissively. "It's no problem. Once we finish this research here, it's better we see Leon and then get back home anyway. Willow will be starting up back to school in two weeks as well."

Unova was like that with its school system, unfortunately.

"They're actually not that complicated. Took a bit of videos on the internet to figure out, but I digress. She takes a moment to pull out a pokeball. "Joker should be able to handle it." She hands the go-pro and the pokeball to Donovan. "I took the liberty of having everything set up when I first arrived here and talking with the Researchers. Everything should be good to go if you want to start right now. If not, we can wait until tomorrow. Give you a bit to settle in with Eri."

Her attention turns to the Xatu at hand, and slowly she reaches to gently pet its head feathers. "Its plumage is beautiful. A bit faded though... Is this one on the older side?"

Ruko had been on watch with many others when the shriek and the gunshot rang out. Him and his parents had made sure to leave a bit of their aura on everyone important to this, but Ruko didn't need to feel the pain to know what had occurred. He'd rush out bow in hand, and mega stone on him. He had an arrow ready and had already filled it with the energy of a Hyper Beam. Thanks to how these special arrows worked they would double the power of this move and be destroyed in the process. He took charge of the situation having his parents go back to defend the escape routes while the rest of them would hold the line.

The smell of smoke, however, would bring memories back. His hands would begin to shake as he tried his best to steady himself. Team Rocket was here, the forest was burning, and they hadn't gotten everything ready. His fear soon turned to anger as he refused to lose a third home to these monsters. He wasn't keeping track of everyone so he had no idea what anyone else was doing, but he knew what he had to do. So as soon as he saw that damned red R symbol he drew the bow string back, took aim, and let the arrow fly. The super charged Hyper Beam would rush through leaving a path of destruction before the epicenter of the move struck the human directly in the chest and sent him flying back. And as he watched flying types flood the sky he gave out a command that everyone with a decent ranged move focus on the flyers and that everyone else should focus on holding the line.

The problem with this, however, is that Ruko only had five shots and now he was down to four. He had to make every shot count otherwise everything would be lost.

Meanwhile Arthuriel and Gwendolyn would heed their son's words and rush back to the main route to try and make sure the evacuation went as smoothly as possible. They knew how dangerous a forest fire could be and were hoping to persuade any Pokémon who could to fight back the blaze should it appear on the path. Both of them were once guadians to a forested area. They had been pillars similar to the rest of the Grandcrest family, and so they put that experience to use trying to keep everyone while also maintaining how urgent it was that they reach the Celestial Tower as soon as possible.

The trek was one he was not use to anymore. His trusty Infernape by his side to light the torches on the side of the pillars as he threw his bag to the side. Pushing on the large stone door he let out a grunt of frustration. 

“Solar, let’s see if we can push it open.” The Infernape joined beside his trainer both pushing on the door, only to fail. “Fucking..hell...”

"Good. That's good." He smiles at Willow, thinking to himself about where to start. "Wwweeeeellllll, there was that time when I was ten where I stepped on a Raichu's tail on accident, and got electrocuted. The doctors were stumped as to how I didn't die, but I guess I wasn't too phased." He shrugs at Ashe. "Turns out if you want to visit the 'special' islands, you need special passes. If you do want to see what's there, I can lend you mine." His interest is piqued when she mentions a battle tournament, but he sighs deeply. "I'm gonna have to sit that one out. Between this year's league challenge, and with our new baby...I'm not gonna have time for it." He takes out his phone, and shows her a photo of Flannery in hospital attire, holding a baby in a blue blanket. To her right was Donovan, with his left hand wrapped in bandages. "Wyatt Ignis Bonhomme. First human to be born in space. Technically the Sanctum Sanctorum, but yeah." He puts his phone away, smiling to himself. He walks at a slow pace, thinking about the future now that he has a newborn to worry about. "Kid's probably gonna grow up in one of the safest homes on Earth. Between my Pokemon, Flannery's, Brutus...Hopefully he takes after his mother more...I was an excitable, reckless kid growing up."

The tales of his injuries delight Willow for sure as they soon arrive at the cabin they were given. While Ashe intended to end the current conversation there, her attention is caught by the fact Flannery had in fact had delivered Wyatt already, and the baby was born in space. Her instinct had been to smack her friend in the shoulder, but with the girls there, she instead gives him a sour look. "You're only just now telling me that i'm an honorary auntie?" She hisses. Then again, she hadn't told him some news either... but really, it'd be best to keep the particular news she was thinking of under wraps.

Instead, she turns her attention to answer what he had told her. The girls ( at least Willow ) seemed to preoccupied at the moment to respond or listen considering a Smeargle had shown up, as well as some Natu.

"You need to be at Flannery's side with your son." She turned her kneeroller to face him, a soft look in her eyes. "Enjoy what it is to watch him grow." She glances over at Willow, her attention returning shortly to Donovan. "It only happens once... unless you decide to have more kids." She jests. "As for the Sevii Islands... that'll be a conversation we circle back around too at some point... but for now..." She looks to Lucky who had already by now opened the door. "Inside we go."

Once inside, and everyone was settled, Ashe brings out her tablet, going through the various things they had found in the ruins and the graphs of the ruins located beneath the main hub that had already been found. "... and so I was granted leave amongst some other researchers to view the ruins at my leisure. I'm only allowed a short time, but I figured with you now here, you might be able to go in my place." She had it all planned out. "With the addition of taking one of my pokemon and a go-pro camera so I can view things as well." She bats her eyelashes innocently. "Please?"

Donovan looks at Ashe's foot, and gives her a sympathetic look. "Eesh. At least you can kinda walk around right?" He turns to Willow, giving her a smirk. "Your mother is right. I got all kinds of stories about what I've gone through over the years." He snorts as he remembers a few of them, rubbing his nose with a nostalgic grin. "Kris and Silver dubbed me the accident prone one out of the three of us. And they're absolutely right!" He ruffles Willow's hair. "Sorry we couldn't make it to Kalos. Things got a bit crazy in the Sevii Islands. Even more so when we went to the...'special' islands." Eri interrupts, bouncing on her heels and waving her hands around so fast, they're basically blurs. "W-we saw a big red bird that made rainbows when it flew! A-and-and a silver one with blue stuff on its back! It had a baby with it!" She pauses only to take a deep breath. "And another Mew! It says it's related to yours, Auntie!" Donnie stops his daughter before she reveals too much, kneeling down to calm her down. "Easy, Sweetpea. Don't want to spoil all our secrets, do we?" Standing back up, he pops his neck and adjusts his backpack. "You're the boss today, so what are we doing first?"

"With the kneeroller, yeah. Can't otherwise. Doc says I need to stay off it until the boot comes off. Advised to see my own doctor once I get back to Unova." She shrugs, readjusting herself on the device. "Ah, it's no problem. It happens." She waves her hand a bit, being talked over by Willow in the process, who by now had responded; "Really? What's the worst you got hurt?!"

"Willow." Ashe tries not to laugh, failing at keeping a straight face. "What? I wanna know!" "I know you do, but chill out. Let them breathe." Willow huffs, "Yes Mama." With that, she pulls back, reaching for Eri's hand and giving a small tug to join her nearby. That being said, what they say next has Ashe's eyes glimmering like jewels. "Really." Now that was interesting... "Guess the Sevii Islands should be on my list to visit at some point in the far future."

"Not gonna lie, I was considering going back to Lumiose City at some point later this year. They're holding a battle tournament and I feel like Leon would enjoy himself." She pauses. "Come to think of it, I think he said he was over in Goldenrod City at this point... Might be nice to stop and see him before me and the kiddo head home." "We get to see Papa?!" Willow is nearly jumping at this point, tugging Eri's poor arm with her. "Calm down, sunshine... but yes, we'll swing by and see Papa." That being said...

"I guess enough standing around, let me take you to the cabin we were given to stay in for now." With Kumiko following, Ashe rolls her way heading down some of the ancient paths, Willow gently tugging Eri's hand to follow as she heads on after her mother. Lucky remains with Donovan, his ears pricking, waiting for him to go first before following after with a prance in his step.

today on "how can I combine my interests": variations of volcarona based on stellar classification!

actual stars are classified based on their spectral characteristics and temperature/color from hottest (bluest) to coldest (reddest) with a strangely ordered letter system: O, B, A, F, G, K, M... why not do the same for this stellar moth?

some other info:

o-type volcarona are incredibly rare and are considered "shiny" pokemon

m-type volcarona can come in the largest variety of sizes from large enough to easily carry a person to about the size of a cat

k-type volcarona are the most common, with the higher temperature ones becoming increasingly more rare (and m is about as rare as g)

while there could be b- and a-type volcarona between o and f, the latter two are so rare that there's no reason to split the categories up further

alder's volcarona is the g-type one shown here, and the m-type one belongs to cyrus in my au

the pupa/cocoon stage is too short relative to the other two stanges to be considered its own separate evolutionary stage like other similar bug type pokemon

Donovan and Eri took a few days to recover from their trip to the Sevii Islands before heading to the Ruins of Alph. Taking his Areodactyl, he and Eri take flight, soaring through the Johto skies. They touch down near the Pokemon Center, and Donovan helps Eri get down. He's able to brace himself this time before Willow bowls him over, greeting his goddaughter with a smile. "Heya, Little Sprout! How have you been?" Eri greets Lucky by smooshing his face happily, and smiles brightly. "Hi Lucky! Squishy face!" She runs up to Ashe and Kumiko, her eyes sparkling. "Hi Auntie! We're gonna go look at ruins today!" Donnie greets Ashe and Kumiko with a wave. "Sorry if we took so long. Poor Eri was so tired when we got back, she passed out on the couch almost instantly."

Willow grins from ear to ear. "I'm alright! Though Mama..." She gives her mother a uneasy look. Ashe offers a shrug, a mirthful look on her features. "Listen, it happens. I'm sure Donnie has been through his fair share of injuries. It just so happens this was my first." Normally Ashe was careful, having almost Eevee-like reflexes when she did things, but just it so happened she had been brought down this one time.

Willow still sighs, turning her attention back to her godfather. "But! We discov'r'd stuff in Kal's!" Her accent started to slip through just a bit -- but only by a bit. "The catac'mbs were cool!" Grim, but cool.

Ashe had to beg to differ it on being sad, but she supposed Willow was at that age where creepy stuff was cool.

Lucky, meanwhile, is happy to receive attention from Eri, his ribbons coming to rest around her lightly, expressing his joy as she squishes his face, chirping all the while. That being said, as Eri comes bolting over, Lucky releases her and instead follows, moving to stand by Ashe once more as Ashe grins at Eri, reaching out to ruffle her hair a bit. "Sounds like a plan. I hope we discover something new beneath the current ruins." Turning her attention to Donnie, she shakes her head. "It's no problem. It gave me time to settle into this new routine I got to go with." She shifts the kneeroller then. "That being said, the original plan's changed a bit for sure, but don't worry, I got an idea."

Ashe had barely arrived and she had already hurt her foot pretty bad. Having to have a kneewalker already on such uneven ground had left her leaving the ruins with a wide berth for the time being. That being said, when the day arrived that Donovan was supposed to show up, she rolled out to meet him from the Pokemon Center. Willow, Kumiko, and Lucky in tow.

Willow was the first to greet her godfather, running as fast as she could over to throw herself against him, hugging him tightly. "Papa Donnie!" She chirps, a wide toothy grin on her face.

Lucky greets with his usual ribbons while Ashe and Kumiko hang back, the woman taking a moment to stabilize herself on her ride. "Good of you to join us, ol' buddy o'l pal."

Donovan is glad they share his feelings on Eri's previous living conditions. "I made sure her mother is rotting in a cell!" He says in a cheerful, singsong tone. He takes out his phone, and shows them photos and videos of their Pokemon meeting Eri for the first time. Kotaro laying on the ground, gently sniffing her. A video of Momo doing a little happy dance. A photo of Eri with Brutus in the background who's just...staring at the camera. And a photo of Jawbreaker just giving Eri a big ol' kiss....and the following photo with Eri and a serious cowlick. "Oh? I'll swing by later with Blathers, see how he likes the idea. He hasn't really been around other Decidueye other than his sister, so his courtship methods might be funny video material.." He was a bit bummed at them not having a solution for Kong. "Hm...I got some friends who are Rangers, I'll ask them if they know anyone.." He pauses to gently wipe Eri's face with a napkin, asking her if the food is good. "Yes, papa! Thank you Mr. Leon and Mrs. Ashe!" His interest is piqued when Ashe mentions work. "Oh? Catacombs in Kalos? That sounds interest-" He pauses mid sentence, one could see a buffering symbol floating above his head as his mind catches up to what she just said..... "R-Ruins? U-under the Ruins of Alph?" He takes a deep breath, and calmly stands up. "Excuse me for a second." He takes out his phone, stepping outside onto the porch. He's heard calling someone, and sounds annoyed. "Hhheeeeeyyyyy....So...was nobody going to tell me about there apparently being Ruins under the Ruins of Alph? I've searched that place, TOP to BOTTOM...for YEARS and found no trace of anything being underneath." A pause. "NO, that's not my email, I changed it years ago, remember? What do you mean, you sent me text messages? I haven't gotten a message from you in months!" Flannery looks both annoyed and amused at her husband's reaction, chuckling into her tea. "Sorry about that. I forgot he takes pride in his Expertise regarding the Ruins of Alph. Missing something THAT important is a huge blow to his pride. But as for your offer, I'm certain that he'd be more than okay with tagging along with you for both." Eri's eyes light up at the thought of seeing new places, and she bounces in her chair excitedly. "Can I go with Papa and Mrs. Ashe, Mama? Please? Pleeeeeaaaaasssseee?"

"Good." Ashe says firmly and quickly. With her now done, she can focus on getting everyone fresh drinks as well. Heading to and from the kitchen, she bursts out laughing at some of the pictures being shared and Donovan freaking out about the ruins under the ruins. "Sounds like she's been accepted full stop by your 'mons. Great to see." Taking the time to sit down and lean over to view Donnie's phone, she notes Leon going and taking his and Willow's plate as Willow gets up and instead heads to bother Eri by pressing against her so she can sit down beside her on the same chair.

"Willow." Ashe gives a warning to which Willow responds; "I'm only wanting to sit with Eri!" Ashe sighs and lets it pass for now, instead turning to answer Donovan's questions. "Then i'll expect you for the Ruins in July." For June, she'd plan to head to the Catacombs.

Leon jumped in to respond next; "Alright. Let me know so I can at least make Celeste aware." With that, he's seated, having opened up a can of alcohol for himself -- if only to loosen himself up a bit. "No problem, Flannery." Ashe responded with a smile. "He's always welcome too--" At Eri getting bouncing and asking excitedly, Willow gets pushed to her feet, blinking. "The kids'll like it." She points out. "Besides, gives them a bit of a history lesson to take in." Ashe points out.

The Legends Arceus leaks are…something else haha, but we got a few winners in the bunch. Not sure how I feel about most of them, but I’ll wait in the game to give them a chance.

He and Flannery blush at Ashe's joke, and Donnie clears his throat. "W-well, we have talked about having more than one kid..." He goes into detail about how he and Flannery adopted Eri, from her dad not being in the picture, to her mother being anti-mutant and trying to send her to 'get her fixed' before Logan and the others from Xavier's Academy got her out of there. Dr. Macoy asked if he was willing to foster Eri due to being great with kids...and the rest was history. "I uh..." He clears his throat again. "I may have cried the first time she called me papa." Thankfully, the story ends just before Eri gets back. "All clean, sweet-pea?" Eri nods, showing Donnie her hands, before climbing into his lap and hugs the Zora..who struggles a bit before giving up. Once the food is ready, Donovan carries Eri to the table, sitting her down before going to help his wife. Once she's at the table Donnie gets her and Eri some food, smaller portions for Eri obviously. And some lemonade. They do their best to answer their questions, with Donovan stating that he's looking to find mates for Blathers and Kong, the latter of whom has been feeling lonely lately. "I forgot to mention, but Blathers is an uncle! His sister and her chicks are living on the property now, and Blathers is helping take care of them. As for work, I'm planning on looking into the ruins that dot the Sevii Islands south of Kanto. As for my other job, there's a Vampire Hunter in Galar that Ultron is looking into. How have things been on your end? Anything interesting happen on the Ranch?"

Eri's story had both Ashe and Leon fit with concerned expressions. "-- Well, she's at least in a place where she'll be loved." Ashe commented, a soft smile being given to Eri. She knew people were cruel, but this kind of cruelty left her stomach churning. Thankfully, the subject was being changed. Hearing about the many happy memories such as Eri called Donnie 'papa' and such had the atmosphere feeling a lot more relaxed then a few moments prior.

As it the conversation turned elsewhere, Leon spoke up; "Actually, I might be able to help with that if all goes well. A Rowlet chose me some years ago. She's a Decidueye now. If she agrees to it, perhaps she could help out with that." "As far as your Rillaboom goes, I don't know if I can be of any help there. Sorry, mate--" Ashe cuts in with excitement then, "Actually i'm glad you bring that up." She gives an apologetic look to her husband, "-- Sorry. Didn't mean to cut in, but--" "You're fine, love." He offers a smile. Ashe brightens and turns her attention to Donovan then. "Speaking of which, there's a few places I wanted to get your opinion on for work. First, there's apparently new ruins that were unearthed beneath those of the Ruins of Alph. Second, the Catacombs of Kalos."

"I wanted to check out both. One in June and the other in July." Willow by this time had turned her attention to eye her mom and godfather. She didn't understand what the excitement was about -- but she did know she was excited about going somewhere other then home. There was just so much to see!

"What's this about a Vampire Hunter? Aren't those only in storybooks?" Leon asked out of curiosity.
