They ask you to repeat yourself or to watch your mouth and you know you don't know what their next response will be, but you know it will hurt later.

After the Lurker post, I think it's fitting to introduce one of the main antagonists of Zeta's story.

This is Socotra, or Queen Socotra as she would prefer. She wasn't the Queen of the Lurkers at the story's beginning but became it later on. After that point, she becomes a very troublesome issue for Zeta and is a thorn in her side every step of the way.

Socotra has her claws deep into her allies along with eyes and ears in almost every kingdom. She thrives in the shadows, both her own subjects and allies are wary of this and are nervous to do anything to incur her wrath. Despite Zeta being well-liked when Socotra comes into play, she still finds a way to get people to question Zeta and often twists what Zeta says against her.

I might post more about her and the story as a whole if I feel like it/if people are interested

OMG wow, I'm alive!!! Sorry I despawned lmao, I got on summer vacation and went on a trip and fell out of posting. I did draw a lot though.

Another base is done, meaning 3 are left!

Forest Lurkers are the 2nd largest dragons to be found on Phyaffis, right behind Mechanical Bolters. They have the ability to excrete a tree sap-like substance from the tips of their front claws. This allows them to glue together big leaves or structures to help build their homes or things they use in their everyday life. It can also be used to hold down enemies if used in ample amounts. It's very effective against the Bolter's weapon systems if a Lurker can get close enough to slash their talons across them.

Their home is the massive rainforest to the east of the Mechanical Kingdom. They build their homes out of what they find in the forest. They prefer to leave the forest how it is and their buildings move and wrap around trees. As opposed to the Bolters who place their buildings wherever they please.

The kingdom doesn't have the same sense of unity or strength as the Bolters or Scorchers have but they do believe their forest is sacred and nobody should encroach on them in any way. They like to nip threats in the bud before they fully blossom into something they have to exert a lot of resources to curb. Other kingdoms are wary of them due to how much espionage they typically conduct on the other rulers of Phyaffis.

This post has mentioned Lurkers and Bolters a lot. The Bolters and Lurkers often clash throughout the story and past. They have very different ideals and beliefs and how the continent should be. A big portion of the story is Zeta trying to deal with this.
