You try to flirt with Hera

Winds up talking the whole time somehow because Hera is just. Shocked that someone who doesn't know who she is is taking no for an answer.

(Zeus never has taken no for an answer.)

At the end of the night when the other goddess are ready to leave, you give Hera your number.

"Text me, maybe we can hang out sometime over coffee. You seem like someone I want for a friend."

Hera is floored.

(I know she's just as nuanced as every other mythoperson but she's my bbygrl)

Cue extremely awkward mother-son bonding time where Hephaestus goes into special interest mode when his mom asks for help choosing a phone.

At some point: therapy

Tragedy: there's no divorce ever for Hera

Not Tragedy: she gains better understanding of connection and emotions and makes genuine friends

Tragedy: you, being mortal, eventually die
