[This] When I was in the fifth grade, my only friend was super in MLP Friendship is Magic and I watched it a little too so I got more into it and we created our characters and they were sisters of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna (Her character was Skyleaf I think and mine was Twilight Eclipse because Twilight Sparkle was my favorite character and I was following the whole celestial theme of the other two) and we created a whole world and every day during recess we would expand the story it was a whole thing we even kept a joint diary that we would exchange back and forth I still have it

There was so much lore and the world building was low-key insane we combined it with other stuff we liked (it was stuff she was more into but I had fun with it too so it was ok) like Lego Ninjago and Miraculous Ladybug and we could travel between the different universes oh and my character had a special alternate world within the MLP world that only she could access called the Shadow Realm and basically all the ponies there were made of shadows

And we were both alicorns >:)

O. How do you begin a story - with the plot or with the characters?

usually with the plot first, then the characters, but I think they kind of go hand in hand.

R. Are there any writers who you consider an influence?

there are a few here! for starters, @aviatordame is probably one of the first writers here that I’ve met whose work inspired me to start writing for the zelda verse. cryptidcrone, skyleaf, @arkon-z . . and a few friends from twitter :) there are a couple others here who I’ve recently found too!

outside of fanfic, Segovia Amil was one of my favorite poets. I get a lot of inspiration from her work, and from poetry in general.
