Three moments that impacted her life? Okay, first of all her father's death. It was sudden and unexpected and sent her and her mom into a spiral of panic and low income; they had to quickly move to a smaller apartment and she had to learn how to cook from scratch because her mom had to work overtime to make ends meet. Second, the positive answer from Ryonan High to her demand for an artistic scholarship: she thought she would have to be enrolled in Shohoku, the least expensive school, but the art professor of Ryonan fell in love with her art and decided that no matter what they would have to get that girl into the school. Third, her practice game girls vs boys at school: everyone was surprisingly kind to her and her team mates trusted her on the field. That was the first moment when she thought that happiness could be a thing.

She relies on people, but only over specific things. For instance, she knows that if she needs random information on whatever, Hikoichi is her man. If she needs to be silly real quick, she'll get her best friend and shenanigans companion, Sakura. If she needs someone to throw hands for her, her cousin Kaede. If she needs comfort, her captain Tomoyo. She never thought she could trust someone, but she ended up doing it. Sendoh was the utmost surprise, and her source of relaxation: he's so easy to talk with. Even though she will not trust him to arrive on time, but she doesn't consider it an issue: she will just schedule differently (they actually planned that, if he dies before her, she will arrange so that he can arrive late at his own funeral).

She's the Reliable Friend. She may crack an inappropriate joke or panic for half an hour straight, but she'll do her best to find the solution; and even if she doesn't, she will have her friends' backs. She's also a source of hidden knowledge, because she gets curious about a lot of things and she'll do research (aka: ask Hikoichi to do it) and so she'll always have a start for a weird conversation. Oh, by the way, did you know that deer have a cross shaped bone in their heart?
